Missing France, then head yourself to Cafe Noir. Its the best place for french lovers. I have been here too many times. I just can’t explain how much I love and adore this place. You get great mock tails and awesome food and the desserts are to die for especially those fruit tarts. Staffs are polite and they deliver your order fast. Its kind of romantic and peaceful. You can go and have a wonderful romantic dinner with your better half. Also the price is very reasonable for the kind and amount of food they give. Its tasty and worth it. And don’t miss the steaks out there, they are juicy and tasty.

Pricey and staff attitude is to the next level. Please train them to behave well. People come here to eat food paying so much money and the least you can do is to train your staff to show friendly attitude. The restaurant is inside Orion Mall in Bangalore. This was our second visit and the food is as good as always. This is one place that makes you feel as if you are in a restaurant in Paris. I prefer the deserts and pastries more to the food that is served on the table. Baguettes and Almond Croissants are awesome. Many a times we have taken them home like this time. The Brulee and other pastries are equally good. They also have all-you-eat-pizzas on specific days. Happy hours on wine and cocktails. Pricing is on the expensive side. A must visit to any of the outlets while in Bangalore.

A typical french cuisine restaurant located in an upscale mall in rajajinagar. The ambience used to quant and romantic, but now it has deteriorated due to lack of customer owing to many other options in the mall. The prices being high are one of the mail causes. Anyway, the food is close to french authenticity. Parking is not an issue bit the prices of food is quite high.

3.5 actually.. We visited it on weekday to have some of their newly introduced sundaes but unfortunately it was not available. We had to settle for desserts and shakes which ever was available.We had 4 types of shakes- coffee, cookie, Chikku and banana milkshakes. Coffee and cookie shake both tasted the same and was bit bitter to taste. We couldnt make out any difference in it. Banana and Chikku shake was better than those two. Prices are high and the quantity served is not satisfactory.Coming to desserts, Fraisier a strawberry based cake, was something new which we had. It has a layer of strawberry, cake, cream patisserie and topped with cream.Chocolate Ganache Tart was simple, a Tart full chocolate Ganache. While some of the dishes here are quite noteworthy- including the veg lasagna, there are others that I found somewhat bland in terms of taste, such as the white sauce pasta. Overall, it has a nice ambience and decent service.

Terrible service, over priced menu and nothing french about the menu.I ordered a Caesars Salad and asked for extra olive oil on the side.. when the waiter came with my order I asked him where it was. His reply, its added in the salad. It didnt seem so since the salad looked relatively dry, so I asked for extra on the side and repeated my request. He came back with chopped olives... When I asked for olive oil again and made sure he understood, he came back saying, chef says we dont have olive oil!! So I asked them how theyve got Greek Salad and Aoilo Olio and fresh grilled Salmon fillet on the menu if they didnt keep olive oil and he just walked away with a shrug.I gave them a try after a poor experience 2 years ago and this time Im certain Im never coming back!

Amazing food and go to for desserts

Cafe noir is really a fancy french cafe in Orion. The prices are really hard on your pocket and the food is not that great. The ambience is nice though with noir or black theme aesthetics and seating. French food is not everyones cup of tea as it is blant and without much spiciness or the flavour we indians are adjusted to. Deserts are great. Service is a drawback as it took a lot of time for us to get our order. Apart from french cuisine we also get some continental delicacies like pizza, salads and pastas. Beverages are also served with wine cocktails and without alchahol also.

The place is fancy and gives you a nice posh vibe. The staff hardly care and the service is slow. Do not try the strawberry tart nor the pastries. The pastries are just bad tasting and not soft at all. The tart shell was hard anf could not be cut easily.

Theyre adding service charge in there bill and when we asked why theyve added this, then they said because we are giving service to you. Huh..their service is pathetic. We ordered 4 Cheese Pizza(as you can see it in the bill), the plates were brought after the pizza came, chilli flakes and oregano came when we asked for it. They should be proactive rather than being reactive!!

Highly avoidable!!! Not worth our money and time. Food is horrible. Had food poisoning after eating here. Higher rates does not mean better quality. And be prepared to wait for atleast 40mins after placing an order. Dnt waster your time. Pathetic staff.

A good place to have international delicacies. They serve authentic dishes. Their meals are good and ideal. It is a wonderful place for brunch. They do have happy hour offers in weekends. Sizzlers and wines are one of their go to items. They have been concentrating in French cuisines. Their service is good and staffs are welcoming. This is a good place for parties and couples.

Pretty disappointed with the practice they have here. we went to purchase a pastry (cost Rs 95) for which they mentioned that anything which is lesser we can purchase and consume it in food court and not in their restaurant. whereas expensive pastries can be consumed inside their café... not sure on what basis they started such discrimination on the basis of cost. also Rs 95 is not less either, therefore fail to understand such practise

A couple of my friends and I wanted to grab dessert after lunch. We asked for the items we wanted and walked in to find a seat. I was shocked to hear the staff say we are not allowed to sit inside after purchasing low cost items (which by no definition is actually low cost). It is disheartening to see how businesses can stoop so low and create a divide among people who purchase expensive and not so expensive items. There is no logic here. Its is an uneducated decision and blatant discrimination. If you are reading this review, I recommend that you dont choose to be a part of such practices by not consuming their food.

We were cheated by the staff of this outlet, and this was how he did it .This happened on 22 June around 9 pm . We had just finished our snack and was ready to pay ,waiter bought us the bill of 375rs, we asked him to get the card machine and this guy was from the northeast , he brings the machine over takes the card swipes it and enters the value and ask us for the pin. He then takes the machine from us and says the payment didnt go through but we had got a msg on the phone saying the amount was deducted. He insisted it was not paid . He then said he wanted us to pay cash as he thought the machine was not working properly , he mentioned that the amount would be credited back to our account as the payment didnt go through. So hesitating, we paid him the cash . We realized after two days when we got the bank statement that the waiter had pocketed the money and also charged us on the card.So be aware of this when visiting the place .

I have always been a fan of cafe noir and I have visited the one in Orion mall several times before and after a much long time I visited the cafe only to be extremely disappointed.I ordered a chilli cheese toast and it was stale. Made with some horribly tasting oil. It was so pathetic that I had to send it back. Fish and chips was average. The dips that came along with it were terrible.Desserts were the only savior. I wouldnt say they were good but they were just alright.Not going back to this particular branch again.

Bought a baguette and pastries yesterday. Baguette was ancient, hard as a rock and chipped my tooth and probably damaged a jaw nerve. As a Frenchman you need to learn to make your own cuisine. Do you think you can palm off anything on the natives and get away with it? I have had wonderful baguettes, appropriately hard on the inside not like this rock of Gibraltar. Money back please and dentist fees too.

Just while craving for a coffee we decided to hold on by this beautiful cafe it has an retro vibe through that interior and music playing in the background . The food is delicious , service is good and a perfect place for lunch brunch and dinner . I just had a cappuccino along a bitter croissant I loved the butter corissant.Definitely a must visit if u reside some where nearby .

Café Noir in Orion Mall - is very disappointing , there is discrimination showed towards the customers , the cakes which were sold for a lesser price ( within Café noir) were not allowed to be consumed by sitting inside the café . This does not make any sense ! If Café noir can sell the cakes why cant customers eat it there ?

I mean, ask them about Caesars salad dressing, including the missing ingredients - capers, walnuts etc, the dry burnt bacon pieces CHARGED EXTRA! Dry and hard meat steaks. Could not even chew. Hey Cafe Noir, had a really bad experience visiting your place at orian mall on the 20th December at 12pm. Was there with my son for a movie, walked in and immediately ordered a margarita pizza for him, and since the movie was at 12.40pm informed the steward of the same and placed a order for beef Wellington which is advertised as a Christmas special, it arrived after my movie started, I didnt complain assuming that it was made fresh. But it arrived completely soggy not moist but soggy the crust was undercooked and rubbery, since I was in a hurry finished the beef and left the crust. I asked for the bill, thats when it went downhill, I asked for the manager and informed him about the beef, he told me that its fully cooked as its made in the morning and only reheated, lol great answer and on being asked why it took 40 minutes to reheat no answer. Well all the best to Beef Wellington...

Sandwiches are average. Garlic bread with cheese is great. It’s a disappointment to the ambience though the waiters are delightful and courteous

Food both quality and quantity below par. Authenticity of cuisine in doubt. The coffee sundae we took did not have any hint of coffee flavour. Sandwiches and burgers were not served with the flair which we observed in outlet of the same franchise in UB City.

One of the worst places to eat. Pesto pasta dripping in oil... The oil content was soo much that I cud keep pouring it into a bowl... The sizzler was ok... Soup was horrible wid cheese which tasted burnt on the floating bread... To top this waiter computed wrong bill and wasted alot of time to rectify.

Basically its high priced and although if you think the food is good and the price is justified you can go ahead but there is no air conditioning in the hotel and the fans in the area dont work. So if youre going there in peak times or summer you cant really enjoy the food as the place is scorching hot.My opinion dont go for it.

Ive been to this place a few times now and the most recent being yesterday. Weve tried their Pasta and Spaghetti of La Carbonara range - this was pretty good. Besides this Ive tried the Chicken Lasagna, Salmon Grilled fish (Saumon Grille) and a few desserts which werent that good. The Lasagna was a disaster and the chocolate muffin was not to our taste either. The service is OK except a few ignorant folks and one isolated case of wrong order - they got Penne instead of Spaghetti that we asked for in La Carbonara but the waiter did change it to the correct order in under 5-10 mins. This place gets a little noisy on weekends (Its an open space on the 3rd floor of the Orion Mall and hence the noise) and note that they dont not have Air Conditioning either, so it can get pretty hot unless you are sitting under a fan. So do ask for seating under the fan as much as possible
