Used to love staying at this hotel especially pre-covid. My frequent Bangalore trips have restarted just now but the experience at St Marks isnt the same. Very few staff employed at the hotel now. The breakfast menu is probably less than 20% of what it used to be (they have reduced the room tariff too). Would like the hotel to be back completely soon.

Five stars*****St. Marks never disappoints me. I stayed there four years ago so I chose to stay there again for this trip.Their service is top notch. They know how to make your stay memorable. Manager Chandan Gowda shows superior quality in everything he does and his team follows his lead. From the manager down to the bellhop at the door everyone makes you feel special. I will definitely continue to stay here and recommend it to all of my friends. My sister and I traveled by ourself and everyone in the hotel looked after us. Yes i would definitely return.

Well maintained, clean contemporary hotel. Service is friendly and efficient. Located in busy and crowded Bangalore but once you enter it, you are in a quiet and peaceful place. The foyer itself is impressive with marble walls and floor. The flower arrangement and aquarium and catch your eye. The rooms themselves are very clean and modern. They provide free WiFi and a safe, fridge and coffee maker in the rooms.

Stayed at this hotel recently and was very extremely satisfied.- Loved the interior design of the hotel with Italian Carrera Marbles for the lobby and restaurant and Omanian marbles for bathrooms. Certainly a good departure from the mainstream hotel chain interiors.- The rooms were well appointed with comfy beds, great AC and well insulated from the noise outside, though some people may find it a tad less spacious.- Centrally located with easy access to shopping centres, eateries and cinemas. The UB City mall nearby is a great place to hangout.- The buffet breakfast was excellent with an awesome selection of fruits, juices along with Continental and Indian dishes.- Courteous and polite staff always eager to help.

We recently had our wedding in Bangalore and a good number of our guests were staying at the St Marks Hotel. We only have great things to say about the hotel - in fact this hotel is far more better than some of the five star hotels in the country. Modern rooms, great service, food, amenities, staff and location. Overall we had a great experience and thank you once again;)

Its the best hotel I have ever stayed in Bangalore. Clean, cozy, very comfortable. Polite and helpfull staff, separate floors for smoking and non-smoking rooms, amazing breakfast (mixed indian and european). Nice rooftop terrace to chill out. Walkable distance to MG Road and Commercial street. Absolutely worthy its price.

Excellent small hotel. I stayed here for 6 nights in August 2019, and really enjoyed it. Its quite small, so only one restaurant, meaning choices inside the hotel are quite limited. But there are lots of options within a short walk from the hotel. (No. 10, Fort Cochin, just along the road gets my vote). I only had breakfast, not other food. The breakfast we good offering a choice of western and some Indian choices. Eggs cooked to order, pretty decent coffee although I always had to ask for it. Room was a bit old in style, but it was clean, spacious and well maintained. Water pressure was awesome. A/C worked very well, wifi was reasonably good although I had a few disconnections and slow downs during the week. The staff were fantastic, always helpful and gave a personal touch.

Went to attend a wedding reception. Located at a very prime location with access to a one way road. The hotel is maintained well and has ample parking space. The staffs were courteous and polite. However, while serving food they were little slow. The food served was good, not too spicy and well cooked.

Nice hotel in middle of business district. Visited several times.This week I visited to attend a product launch event by a company.The ambience was excellent and the staff friendly and approachable. Welcome drink was OK.The best part of the event was excellent dinner. Hygienically arranged, with good quality salads, followed varieties vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.Ice cream was poor, but cake and carrots sweet (halwa) was excellent.Overall excellent.

I had book through Make my trip... Best part about the hotel is location... From here u can go to any part of bangalore easily.... Also its close to brigade Road, residency road and UB city. Now about the hotel.... Good spacious rooms... You will not be complaining much since its clean and better equipped than a lemon tree... Also service level is good and prompt.... I had early check out so requested for packed breakfast which they gave... Food quality is good and staff service is good... I recommend this place if u need a central place to stay in bangalore.

Very neatly managed hotel with cleanliness all around the place, also sufficient parking space though the hotel is in the central business district. Very nice reception with multi level lounge gives a feeler of a typical western hotel lobby. I visited a SOTC booth there and hence dont have an experience of rooms and food.

MAINTAINED VERY CLEAN AND VERY MUCH COMFORTABLE HOTEL.

We loved this hotel! It was clean, beautiful, and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop lounge was lovely and nobody seemed to use it so it was quiet. You can control ask of the lights from one place which is very convenient (and fun to play with). It was close to a lot of great places. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great rooms at affordable prices. We stayed there for a night and the room was pretty spacious and well furnished. All the necessary items were stocked. Located almost at the heart of the city, it is convenient to get to and from the hotel. About 40 minutes to the airport at night. Ample parking w/ valet services. The restaurant at the hotel is decent with good food. Do not miss the complimentary breakfast :)

Its a really nice hotel I was there for a conference and everything was pretty good. The staff was really friendly and the food was awesome too though the vegetarian food was a little less tasty.

Amazing experience, We stayed for 15 days their, staff is very polite , rooms are clean , and food is also good. The only thing I dont like is that they put pork in breakfast which smells very bad because of that whole place smells, I used to feel vomiting sometime because of that. They should keep it inside to make the place decent. Apart from that I had amazing stay their, Its situated in the middle of city , you can easily go to MG road , Richmond Circle, LalBagh, UB City , Cricket stadium, Cubbon park, Vidhan Sabha ect. You will easily find lots of restaurants on St. Marks road.

One of the best hotels in Bangalore. Its is in the center of city and approachable to any part of Bangalore. I had to visit German consulate and this hotel is just opposite to consulate office. They provide room service and the restaurant serves good food. Breakfast options are also very good. Overall Very good option if you are in a business trip

Our stay at St Marks was pleasant, the staff were very courteous. The room was neat and clean. The staff at the reception were very helpful and guided us in making decisions regarding going around. Quite a few churches around, and the Bishops cotton Girls school was just nearby. A walk down the road will take you to a few eateries. However, the food in the hotel was super! We had the tandoori chicken, the club sandwich, the burger...all were tasty! The buffet breakfast spread also had a variety..will definitely stay here again and would recommend this to anyone visiting Bangalore for work or leisure.

Rooms are great. For anything u dont need to get up from your bed. The ppl are too good with their attitude and services. The terrace is jz one of the best location across the city for chilling out. But its only for the indoor guests. Definitely 5 stars

The rooms were clean. The staff there is courteous and helpful. Youll get everything that you would expect from a hotel. This is located at the center of Bangalore making it easy to move to the important sites in Bangalore like M.G. Road and Brigade Road. Also, there were a lot of clubs here (if you are into that sort of thing -- cannot speak about how good they are though). The food is good here (it will meet your expectations but will not exceed them)The disadvantages would be no swimming pool and no bath tub.I deserves a five star in my opinion but it so far has not received it.

I was recently on a business trip in India and had booked the St Marks Hotel via HRS. Since my flight was only arriving at 2 am and I knew of immigration procedures and getting to the hotel from the airport would need some two hours, I informed the hotel a few days before my arrival that I would check in early in the morning. When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted very friendly and check in was smooth and quick. The room is spacious and the bed very comfortable. The Wifi connection worked very well too. The bathroom door was a bit strange, almost like an old cupboard door but the bathroom itself was very nice. Water pressure was very good too. I had a late breakfast at 9:30 and enjoyed a good omelet freshly prepared for me. Check out again was smooth and super friendly. All in all a great hotel I can easily recommend

Stayed for 1 night here while on a business trip. The rooms have a queen sized bed, a couch with an ottoman, a study-table with a chair, a mid-sized TV with SD channels, fast WiFi and a washroom with a separate bathing space. We had booked via a travel agency and each room costed us about INR 5K for the night (including breakfast).

Awesome food. Visited the banquet hall and restaurant. Banquet hall is ideal for seminars, training programs, birthday parties and get togethers . It has seating capacity up to 75 people. Food was delicious and has a decent spread out on a buffet. Lacks ramp in the front entrance.

Services provided by Gaurav was exceptional and further complemented by Rohith and Gagan. These people had smiles on their face at all times and never said no to anything we asked. Even getting prescriptions for my sick wife in minimal time. Wow - this is service at its best. Highly recommended. Rooms were of high standard and very clean.

They have redone the place. Its pretty new looking. Best 4 start in city centre. You can Walk to UB city and MG road and brigade toad. So thats cool. Rooms are good too. Ideal for business travellers to CBD

Holly Gosh..! My body was so itch till I woke up at this timing 430am! And writing this complaint since I can’t sleep. I got such situation few days back but it getting serious. I’m not sure how frequent they change the bedsheet. Or they not even change from this guest to next guest! Unfortunately I can’t attach photo else you will feel disgusting.. nightmare to me.

Stayed with St Marks for almost 15 days and absolutely loved it. The staff are kind, courteous and ever helping 24X 7. The rooms are clean, tidy and fully equipped for a comfortable stay and surprisingly quite even if it is located close to the main road. The location is extremely handy as close to most shopping centres and restaurants. Their very own restaurant serves tasty meals accompanied with brilliant service. I was privileged to entertain my entire family of about 25persons at their restaurant before our return to Australia. Our special thanks to Ram and Chandan who have shown exceptional kindness and assistance during our stay in Bangalore making it a memorable one. Stayed here for a week on business. Amazing hotel. I am usually very picky on picking negative things - see my other reviews. Couldnt find a single negative about this hotel. Sparkling clean, new interiors - couldnt find a single stain or rust or broken piece anywhere. Quiet hotel. If you dont set alarm, no noise will wake you up. Had full nights sleep all week. Tasty breakfast. Best of all, I cant believe how humble the staff is -- all the way from manager to front desk to restaurant to bell boy. Amazing hospitality. No wonder its rated 9.4/10 on hotels dot com. Alright, some minor issues if these are important to you - room is bit smaller side, gym has couple of treadmills a bike and some weights, locality is not lively - no night life, not many restaurants.

The hotel is nice and well located, and the staff are very good, but unfortunately you are left with a bad taste in your mouth at checkout.A foreign exchange conversion fee was charged at 10% extra on my credit card account. This is too high. Also, the hotel does not release the room deposit for 8 or 9 days. The deposit amount is equal to the room charge amount. So for example, if you spend $500 on a room they will take $500 and hold an EXTRA $500 for about 9 calendar days. Very cheeky… I called them 3 times to resolve this.There is no good reason to hold the customer’s deposit for so long. Once checkout is complete and the room has been inspected, the money should be released immediately. And why hold the full amount of the room??? Usually, hotels hold a nominal amount e.g. $200. Not sure why they hold it for so long. Extra interest earning maybe? The hotel says the bank holds the charge, but that sounds like a lie. I believe it is the hotel that delays the instruction for the bank to release.

Starters were nice however disappointed with uncooked naans and pepper filled chicken. Chicken platter was extremely expensive.

Attended an event, very nice place to conduct small corporate events. Location is easily accessible and hotel looks great in terms of its architecture and interiors. Buffet dinner was also good especially their chicken biryani :)

I realised it was more of a business class hotel but we went as family. It was a very good experience. Food was great. The breakfast buffet was awesome. We were well taken care of. Lunch buffet was also great though they can work on their dessert spread. In toto it was a very pleasant stay.

Rooms are pretty good with rain showers, decent bed and mattress (not world class). 5 star customer focused staff. Nice breakfast buffet spread. Restaurant otherwise is decent, though pricey for its class. Only let down is gym, really small in a cramped cabin with one working treadmill.
