The food is authentic Kerala. And they preserve it well. The decor is not all that ambient to boast about. It pretty okay-ish. Can be improved to a great deal. But the food, food is rich in its flavours, spices aroma and nostalgia.

Orders take time to deliver and the food tastes good. But they are charging high premium for the food while it is not extra-ordinary compared to restaurents close by. If you are looking for more affordable Kerala-style restaurants there are plenty of options close-by so don’t visit unless you want to overspent on your food.

I am Maharashtrian/Marathi. I wanted to have Kerala food since I came to the south part of India-Banglore.I was waiting for Onam to experiment Kerala food.I ate Onam Sadya / Kerala food for the first time in the Salt mango Tree @ Prestige Ozone. Food was so delicious. Its difficult to explain... I was so full but Tung was craving more. Literally, I stood for a while to make some place in stomach Aviyal, Pachadi , sambar, Payasam (banana + jiggery + dry fruits) and few chatnies were amazing. The waiter told they are planning to serve Sadya all the time. I am definitely going again here.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon. The prices are really high, around 300 for a non veg dish which we found expensive. The service was good for us. They had given us a complimentary drink as well. Waited around 20 25 minutes for the food and really enjoyed the coconut beef fry with parotta. The place is set up simple but when you pay so much, youd probably expect some thing a little classier.

Avoid this place. I ordered chicken fry meals. 3 extremely small pieces of chicken of which 70% was bones was served. On top of it, I found stones in the food due to which I accidentally spat the food right in front of the staff and even told them. But they just ignored it and went away!!! Not value for money also. If you go to the 3rd floor, there is coastal hub, you will get same food at half price (without the so called chicken fry).Compare the menus of the two restaurants online and decide for yourself. Avoid this place

This is the same Salt Mango Tree restaurant which used to be at Prestige Ozones clubhouse, just moved to a more public location. Anticipating the same that they would have improved on their menu and quality and also looking at the reviews, we visited this place again. But to my dismay, this has moved to a more horrendous and unpleasant building. The emergency fire rescue like staircase itself was so un-inviting to begin with. Coming to the food quality and quantity - both gave degraded down the drain. Service was as lazy as possible. And talk about the ambience ?? Huh ! This restaurant could have improved owing to their move to a newer location..but it has become more like a south-indian meal mess/pantry ! I think they only focus on their daily visiting working folks coming for lunch/ regular meal. Not even worth visiting once !

I had dinner at salt mango tree. There were insects in the curry I ordered. It was shocking. I informed the manager. To my utter surprise, it felt like he was neither apologetic nor it appeared that he will do something to prevent this from happening again. On my suggestion to keep the kitchen clean, he claimed that kitchen is clean. He became defensive when I asked to have a look at the kitchen which clearly showed that kitchen is not clean. I do not think I will ever eat again at salt mango tree or suggest anyone to eat at salt mango tree.

Firstly the ambience was not good in this hotel. It was hot inside as the AC seemed to be not working though it was ON.Found the dishes very expensive. We ordered one nadan chicken curry which costed 350. Only 4 or 5 small chicken pieces with gravy sufficient only for 1 or 2 members max. It is not tasty too. We ordered one ghee roast chicken as starter for which taste was ok(not great) but the quantity was too less. It has just 5 or 6 small pieces of chicken.Another thing i have noted is they are charging 5% of the bill amount as service charge which i have not seen in other hotels. For me service charge came around 100rs.Overall i would say it is not worth going here.

Went for the Onam Sadhya, some of the staff are courteous but those who served food were unkempt and lacked some basic etiquette, their clothes were dirty, trust me you dont want to see that when your food is being served, the banana leaves were old, while serving the bottom of the vessels touched the food already served, they forgot to serve food for a person who came along with me, all points to either lack of attention or interest or a lack of knowledge. The food itself wasnt fresh and amongst the array of stuff served only Avial, Kalan & Pazham Payasam were good. Overall for 3 adults wh had only the Sadhya I paid 2325/- , in my personal experience not worth it, especially the experience.
