When I wanted to binge on a good scrumptious Thali, I visited NH8 in Indiranagar and my my! I was amazed at the ambience, food, service and absolute value for money. As soon as you enter, you’ll feel the Rajasthani vibes at this place and there’s even an option to sit down and eat like at home. You’ll be made to feel like royalty and then the food starts arriving one by one . From starters, welcome drinks, chaat , main course to desserts you’ll be full but craving for more . A lot of variety served in small portions so you can try everything and ask for refills too since the thali is unlimited. The thalis are priced between INR 449-499 and is a perfect place for friends and family. Visited NH8, Indiranagar outlet, Bangalore for lunch. Had heard alot about it but got to try it very recently. If youre someone who loves exploring different and unique delicacies of various geographies, this place is one such place where youll get to feel like mini Rajasthan.I must say the moment I entered the place, the intricate wall work which represents the culture and tradition of Rajasthan caught my attention.Must say the decor is beautifully crafted with a scent of Rajasthan. The price as it stands today is 499 Rs plus taxes from Friday to Sunday for the unlimited Thali. Except Tuesday they serve it at Rs. 449 Rs plus taxes. Every Tuesday they have their in house offers and you can get to have the thali at 350 Rs plus taxes.I must tell you the quantity which they offer justifies its price. Most importantly, the taste and the texture of the food is simply amazing and mouth-watering.The presentation of the thalis are picturesque. The day I went for lunch, it consisted of :• Welcome drink - Khatta Meetha Jaljeera and Jeera Chaas• Farsan - Palak Dhokla, Chaat and Aloo Bonda• Chatpata - Imli chutney, dhaniya chutney and roasted papad• Marwari ki Thath Bath - Rajasthani Bhati, Choorma and Panchmukhi Dal• Aaroga sa - Paneer capsicum, Gatte ki sabji, Kadhi, Bhindi and choley• Jeemo sa - Roti, Paratha, Makai roti• Rice - Veg pulav, Lachka khichdi• Vyanjan - Sabudana kheer, moong halwa and Gulab jamunPheww!! Must say it was alot of food and very tasty. The most important part was its service too. The staffs are the humblest ever that Ive come across. Very courteous and very welcoming. The manager also was very warm spoken.Overall, I had a great time at this place. Its highly recommended for all the vegetarians and also to those who would want to explore on Rajasthani delicacies.

I personally liked that floor one which gives royal feelings with colourful Rajasthani craft-work.Their Rajasthani thali consists of more than 20 varieties which includes- welcome drink, mirchi vada, curries, roti, bajra roti, paratha, rice, moong dal halwa, Dal bati churma, khichdi, phool kachori, dahi papdi chaat, rasgulla and gulab jamun. All these items were freshly made and served hot.I personally loved their dal bati churma, dahi papdi chaat and moong dal halwa and gulab jamun. The overall experience has been poor. Much below the expectations due to multiple factors a) poor customer service b) average taste of food, and c) uncleaned utensils. Whether it is the majestic forts, its interesting traditions or the amazing food that’s available – there is no one way to properly describe the diverse experience that Rajasthan offers. Keeping in mind the unique feeling it gives, and with high expectations, I entered the restaurant..The Thali comes with the usual suspects: Dal Bati Churma, Ker Sangri, Paneer Ki Subzi, Gatte Ki Subzi, Rajasthani Kadhi and Puris. But no matter how many times you have tried it, not giving in to the temptation of a typical Rajasthani thali is a task. Each of the items that were served to me were crunchy, chewy and delectable.

This place was a pleasant surprise. We were basically turned away from Dhaba 1986, Indiranagar as we came in at 8:42 pm. They said that the restaurant was not allowed to operate beyond 9 pm. We started looking for something close by and then stumbled upon NH8 (in Google). The experience was a very pleasant one.The menu was a thali system and had a lot of different items from Kadhi, Lauki Halwa, Dal Baati, Churma, Gatta, Paneer, Bajra Rotla etc.The food was really good and so were the waiters. If someone wants a micro Choki Dhaani like experience in Bengaluru (people who have visited one will get this), this place is a must visit. On a friend’s recommendation, I visited NH8 for lunch over the weekend to try their Rajasthani Thali which includes an assortment of authentic Rajasthani dishes. They have multiple outlets and I happened to visit their Indiranagar one which can be easily spotted. The ambiance is quite vibrant and the colorful walls have been adorned with artistic work. The staff is super courteous and will make sure you are fed properly. Krishna, one of the staff members, was always at his toes to serve us and make us feel at home. Since I visited in the winter season, I could get a chance to try their Winter Menu which was a lavish spread of more than 15 items. While we started our meal with refreshing Jaljeera and steaming Bajre ki Raab, we moved on to some of their delicious starters such as Lachcha Tokr Chaat, Paani Puri, Mili Juli Pakaudi and Kachauri. The other items of the thali were Chholey Masala, Paneer Gravy, Aloo Tamatar Rassa, Kadhi, Gatta Masala and Daal Baati including the delicious desserts like Gajar ka Halwa, Gond ka Laddu and Malai Chaap. If you are someone who enjoys variety in their food, NH8 is that place that can be a synonym to happiness. During a discussion about places that serve Thalis with North Indian food in the city, this name of this place surfaced and since then, it was on my to-visit list. Although I had gone there to try their famous thali, after reaching I was informed by the outlet manager Krishna that they curate the menu as per a theme which changes every few weeks/months.As we were wondering which Thali to pick for our lunch, Krishna suggested that we should try the Winter Menu. This thali is an ensured goodness platter if you can love variety in your food and wish to try authentic Rajasthani food. While they have been running a special Winter Menu presently till the end of this month, this was grand in all aspects, be it the variety or quality. Some of the items that were a part of this thali were Paani Puri, Lachcha Tokri Chaat, Bajre ki Raab, Jaljeera, Kachauri, Mili Juli Pakaudi, Papad, Paneer Gravy, Chholey Masala, Kadhi, Aloo Tamatar Rassa, Gatta Masala, Daal Bati, Gajar Halwa, Gond ka Laddu and so much more! Absolutely thrilled to try their other thalis. Brownie points to their hospitality because, well, while you will still be taking in your first bite, the servers will make sure to check if you need anything else. So, you really dont have to struggle with the whole calling the server to your table part when you are dining at NH8.

The royal Rajasthan with its typical cuisines, etiquettes and food items has come all the way cme to Bangalore to please us so do visit here to enjoy pure home like authentic Rajasthani food here. The dishes were soo alluring dat u cant deny the fact that those come under typical Rajasthani cuisinesThe best part about ordering a Thali is the fact that u get everything you love in small portions in 1 big plateThe dish is unlimited and dat too at a very reasonable price of just 429 bucks.Talking about the ambience I just loved their warm welcome with giving a head cover which usually people wear in Rajasthan like a pagdi but in the form of a cap.Secondly I loved the sitting arrangements as it was way down with soft cushions along with it.The ambience was awesome as Rajasthani famous folk songs were being played throughout our time spent here. The walls were painted or the wallpaper consisting of typical Rajasthani having mixed Colors and flowers in it.Now coming to the food thali wich I ate :-I can recall certain things as to count from the plate their were exactly 22 items in the whole thali but cant recall each n every thing but still tasted good.Welcome drinks included 1) jaljeera and 2) chaashFor starters it had 3) veg cutlet ,4) samosa, 5)dahi papdi chaat. Now coming to the main course we had too many things like 6) masala puri,7) bajra roti,8) Fulka roti 9) Papad 10) SrikhandSabji and 11) rice and 12) salad and 13)dal baati and 14)churma and 15) khichdi also not to forgetIn sabji der were many like 16) Gatte ki sabji 17) Chole 18) Paneer 19) Aloo 20) Chana and lastly 21) kadiAll the dishes were made in pure ghee and were too hygienic and reminded us of home food.I loved most of the things and mostly jaljeera and dal baati as thats one of my fav and also samosa. Some people like something so that doesnt mean the other person should like that dish so it applies here and I loved paneer and Gatte ki sabji also. But didnt go well with rice and khichdi as Im not dat fond of it.Almost covered up all the points for this review so its ratings time now :-VFM - 5/5Ambience - 5/5Food - 5/5Service - 5/5Bon appetite and please do visit if someone wants to try out authentic Rajasthani food. This time I have already given a detailed review so no need to link zomato review here

Its a great place to dine if youre less of health conscious and just love bombing flavours to your pallet. It can be a great place for you to go with your date, now just coffee or fancy dinner is cliche, should move on to something called experience date dinner. NH8 Indiranagar serves the best Rajasthani Thali in Bangalore and the staff will truly make you feel homely. There is a separate area where you can have your meal sitting low to ground crossd leg with traditional turban; Now that is true experience to have on

This place is located in Indiranagar. This is a pure vegetarian place that servers authentic Rajasthani Thali. The thali is pretty huge and they are very generous with food. Their service is amazing. They feed you till your tummy explodes. They treat all their customers like family. It was a wonderful experience and the quality if food is just amazing. The thali had two chaats, two types of roti and poori and three desserts, rice , Kichdi, khadi, pickle, salad and so on. The ambience is pretty af and this place is good for family outings.

Padharo Maro Desh..!! NH8 is a full Rajasthani restaurant with food and décor done in the most authentic way. It is located on the main streets of Indiranagar. Once you step out of the lift you will feel like you are in Rajasthan. My parents live in Rajasthan so in the last 1 year I have been exploring the place a lot and the ambiance, sitting, decors of the place resembles so much to the eat out places on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. As soon as we sat down the put a big thali with lots of bowl in front of us and yes we wore the “Pagdhi” (traditional head gear). Seeing the Thali only I knew I was expecting something grand. Then started the food. I am sure I won’t be able to tell you guys all of it but try my best to list most of them. We started with masala chaas, which I finished in a minute, then we got pani puri and kachori. Then came the different dishes for the big thali in front of us, started with Dali Bati Churma, multiple chutney and pickels. Then came Gatte ki Sabzi, Kadhi, Paneer ki Sabji, Bhindi Masala and many more. Along with this came Bajre ki roti, normal Phulka and puri. My favourite dish was the Khichdi which came after all this, the Bengali soul found soul food in an Rajasthani Restaurant sitting in Karnataka, when Hot Kichdi was served with Ghee while it drizzled outside. I think that is the beauty of India. Then Came a desert I am not sure what it I called but it tasted like kheer. That was also tasty. The best thing was the food was not too sweet neither too spicy and the ghee added so much to it.With the price they are offering this is a very good place to have something different from our usual food.

A fantastic place to grab some Rajasthani food. The place is centrally located and has a great great lunch buffet. It is similar to Rajdhani, but I found a lot more flavour in the food here. There was also a great personal touch when requesting for different things. For example, I love the garlic chutney you get in Rajasthan and the staff were more than happy to get it to me.The spread of food was wide and managed to cover all the important foods of Rajasthan. The highlights of the meal were the subzi and the Aamras for me. the rotis were great and hence didn’t end up eating much rice at all.The ambience is also great from floor level seating to regular table seating.A good place to drop by if you have that craving for Rajasthani food.

What an ambience! It is colourful and depicts the ethic Rajasthan. And the music adds on to it.This is a pure veg restaurant known for its 25 dishes Thali. From spicy chutney to lip-smacking desserts, their thali has it all. But remember 95% of the dishes are not on the spicy side. They all taste good. The dessert especially are delectable! The service is top-notch. They are on time to refill your plates. On certain days, the thali price is on discount. Go grab it!

A hidden gem is this place that screams Rajasthan. From the ambience to the food, you can get an overall experience of the Rajasthani life. As soon as you enter, it takes you to a different world with colorful backdrops. Small details like a water well, to mirror work on walls to horse statues, makes the place beautiful. The Thali is a vast spread and comprises of authentic dishes like Gatte ki sabzi and Bajra roti to Dal baati churma. Its unlimited so do ask for a repeat of anything you like. The stand out dishes for me were- Malai Ghewar- Moong daal halwa- Srikhand- Mini Samosa- Palak pakoda- Jaipur Gatte sabzi- Aloo palak- Chaas and jaljeeraThe service was excellent and Krishna who manages the place was an absolute delight attending to every table making sure customers are happy.MY RATINGTaste - 4/5Service - 5/5Ambience - 4/5Hygiene - 4/5Value for money - 4/5

Food was good, service was good and so was the ambience. Traditional Rajasthani food, which tasted amazing. Would advice to go with empty stomach, cause Thali will fill you up. Thali is the best way to explore all the options. Waiters on the feet, would serve you as soon as you finish one course. Restaurant seating and styling is like a traditional rajasthani dhabha. So to sum it up had a good experience.
