Must try lychee stuffed gulab jamoon. Fish and chips was crispy and tasty. Shorba was a good appetiser.

The place was decent, the manager suggested a open area table, and that was bad decision!! Mosquitoes!!! Food was oki but the service could be improved, order 2 starter plater & never received its chutney, even after repeatedly requesting for it. The other dishes tasted good and the price is reasonable I felt.

Whole 5 stars goes for the food and 4 stars for the Ambience which is quite and calm, to find such place in Whitefield is rare. Family thoroughly enjoyed the service which is on time. Would love to visit again

The menu hold distinct dishes and the dishes that we ordered tasted very well. The only thing they need to work on is the ambience. Although it has good parking space but the seating area needs to get a little better.

Had a wonderful lunch at this place. Efficient service and tasty fare with some magic added by chef in every dish. It is a pale shadow of the sprawling place it was a decade ago.

Place and the atmosphere is filled with Ambience and sophisticated. The staff and the services are good. But the food and the taste of the food is not that great and is not really worth the pricing.

Went there after 10 years and it still has the same lovely and tasty food... tried platters to beers to LIT everything was lovely... ambience was nice, lovely lighting and decoration..Staffs were courteous, little delay in service, overall very happy 5/5 for food and drink.Enjoyed our time, luckily got the table outside...

The ambience is really good. We ordered Indian and Italian stuff. All of them were really good. Spice and taste were perfect. Have been there a couple of times.Went to this place yesterday after quite sometime. As usual everything was top notch. The chicken, mutton, fish, prawns all were cooked to perfection. Taken my close relatives along with me and they were so much impressed by it. They could not control eating the delicious appams. Seeing greenery in Bangalore, in Whitefield is a treat for the eyes. Feels so relaxed, will keep coming. It feels like a small park. Hope the owners keep it this way and we always have this green space in Whitefield. Thanks again to the owners...

The thai curry was pathetic... It had no flavours absolutely and shrimps... There was only 2 pieces of carrot in curry... And ambience had lot of musquitoes..Not worth and heavily priced..Not visiting ever again.

We were at Herbs & Spices recently - after many years actually - for a small private event. So while I cant speak about the regular restaurant, menu, etc. I can definitely talk about our experience.Herbs & Spices is a great cosy venue for an intimate event, a family gathering or similar - we were in fact there for an engagement. The staff were attentive and there was a steady stream of drinks (assorted soft drinks) and appetisers served to the guests.Appetisers included hara bhara kebabs and chicken kebabs. Im not sure what else was there, but I can couch for these. In fact I just loved those chicken kebabs - there were 2 varieties one was malai and the other was a tikka. Both were well cooked, tender and each had a distinct, yet subtle flavour of their variant; not heavily masala laden. I could have eaten those chicken kebabs all night 😃😄The main course was laid out buffet style and included a paani puri station, a live appam station, a selection of salads, Indian and continental main course items featuring veg and non-veg dishes; finishing with a dessert counter. I dont remember all the dishes names, but everything was good and well prepared. What I noticed was that the veg pulao was fresh and flavourful - in buffets usually pulao can be lack lustre and spoil fast, but was not the case here. Appams were soft and literally melt in the mouth. I of course ate more kebabs 😂 I heard all the guests praising the food, so thats a stellar moment for the place 😊All in all a pleasant evening, good ambience, good service and good food 😊

Its a nice place, a hidden gem in Whitefield. Its an old bunglow of British architecture with big sitting space inside a hall and in a verandah which has a garden. The place is beautiful. They serve full bar menu in drinks. In food, they serve Indian and continental. Service is fast but they charge 10% as service charge. They have zomato gold though. Food is good. We went on a Friday night and it was all empty which was the best part. Overall, a good visit.

Great food and even greater ambience. Tucked away inside a sprawling private property.. Its a great place to take your guests. Been there 2-3 times and have never been disappointed. Good to go in the evenings.. The dull lights add to the ambience.

Good atmosphere. Nice place to hangout.Suited for corporate parties, family outings. Coming to food , quality is little concern. They provide only few items. They have a very good old infrastructure which is good but they should take care of maintenance. They can renovate some parts to adopt more people.

Great ambiance!! Its located in a farm house and you will feel relaxed by looking at the place. Food is not that great and if someone wants to taste spicy food better not to go here. Economical not that expensive per head 458₹. Overall this would be a different experience and you will be happy by visiting this place rather than the food u have it here.

I had been with my team for lunch here.Food was good, ambience was good. But it was not exactly buffet lunch. There was no food kept at the freedom of self serving, it was all served by the waiters one after the other. They said its because there are no much bookings they have not arranged the food accessible to us, they would server one after the other themselves. Didnt quite like the idea compared to traditional buffet. Deserts were very less.

Returned after over 15 yrs when I was back in the city and in the area. So glad the overall food experience has not changed. The Tiramisu was truely a delight with the perfect moistness.Only suggestion would be that the sign should be more prominent. Would have missed it if not for Google Maps. With so much around the area and also a construction going on in the front main road, it is easy to miss this gem.

I went to Herbs & Spice after almost a year. Was a little disappointed at the quality and taste of the steaks we ordered. We asked for medium-rare but clearly got the streaks well-done :( The seasoning was lacking and the steak sauce lacked flavour. The ambience however has remained the same but its disappointing to see how the quality has degraded. I remember when this place was in Indiranagar (am assuming they had a different chef then) it was the best place for steaks. I would sincerely hope this place would improve its quality of food.

This is a classic restaurant in the middle of an urban forest situated at city center in Whitefield. Food quality is just great and no hang over of eating out which usually happens when you eat at normal restaurants. People who are not used with lush greenery will definitely enjoy when they choose to sit at outdoor tables.

This restaurant has old school look and furniture. Seems pretty decent. Theres a lot of parking space and open area before you actually get to the building. The service was really good which prompted me to rip the guy the highest tip of my life. Rumali rotis were very good, probably the best Ive had in Bangalore. Achari dum aloo was tangy and different from the standard one you get elsewhere, but I really enjoyed it. However, the mushroom gravy was not good, so you should probably avoid that. Overall a pretty decent place for good quality, tasty food at not so high prices.Update: quality is way down. Service is slow. Taste is not great too.

Pet friendly and best healthy food in town without compromising taste

This restaurant is serene and gives a feel at home. I had been here for buffet lunch, food is simply good and nothing amazing. If you are tired of visiting restaurants which are congested and fancy and are looking for something elementary this is the right place.

We went here for a team lunch. Very reasonable and very good ambience. It is a house converted to a hotel with lots of greenery. 5stars for ambience and 4 stars for the food. They have less number of startes. 2 veg and 2 nonveg. So if you are a vegetarian, then you may not have variety. But since we were a big group, after we complained, they gave us 1nonveg and 1 veg starter extra, for free. Even though options are limited the taste and quality of the food is good.

The place is very calm and compose. Buffet is also pretty decent (not many items but whatever was there they were tasty)at decent charges. The staff was very polite and always gave a helping hand to all the customers. Ambience is ok inside but great outside.Kudos to Herbs & Spices

This seems to be a colonial bungalow converted to a restaurant.There is ample parking space so dont worry about that too begin with.The buffet we opted for was a custom one, they also have ala carte. The buffet is a very healthy spread. 6 courses. The desserts were not exceptional but were good with the choices of Holige, Gaajar ka halwa, vanilla ice cream, a chocolate pudding, and one more dish that I dont recall now.The green landscape is beautiful and comes with its share of mosquitoes so the crew is really helpful in finding you an appropriate seating to suit your needs and taste. You could consider applying a coat of repellent if you wish to visit this place in the evening and are seated outside in the garden area.Good and friendly service, very helpful and pleasant.I think their best part is that they are pet friendly and their team serves with an approachable attitude...! Good food, liked the ambience too.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful farm house with lush greenery all around. It sets a calm and peaceful ambience especially if you choose to dine outside. There is a variety of food options from homemade Caesar salads to Mughlai main courses to gulab jamuns and tiramasu desserts. They have good sizzler options too. I enjoyed a delicious lunch here and the time taken to serve the food on the table was reasonably fast. Sharing few clicks of the amazing desserts Gulkand Gulab Jamun and Badam Pista kulfi I enjoyed.

Good place to have hangout

Its like visiting a farmhouse/forest resort inside the hustle and bustle of the city. Everything is green and nature-themed outside. The food is also extremely tasty. We had mushroom caps, ravioli and egg appam. They even recommended chettinad as a side dish though it wasnt part of the menu. And it turned out to be the tastiest of the lot. The food is certainly worth the money. Cut one star only because of the mosquito problem. No amount of coils or odomos seemed to help in that aspect, and it became more difficult to REALLY enjoy the food.

Have been several times to this place and undoubtedly the taste of food is very authentic and unique.only difference from earlier is ambience has been modified now due to construction but quality is same and most importantly the staff is royal. Very professional.
