The hotel has old world charm. It is off the main road and hence parking is not s problem. The food served us very tasty. Rates are a little bit high but it compensates with the ambience in the busy area.

There was a time when this place was good. Looks like its all in the past now. Been to the restaurant for lunch and pretty much everything was just bland. Hospital food for patients taste better. Overpriced. And the quantity is so less.The soup, starters, main course, deserts. There was not one thing which was worthy to tell it was tasty. Just a waste of money.

One of the oldest Restaurants in Bangalore. If you visit this place one can witness the charm of Old Bangalore where yesteryears Uncles and Aunties love to come here still and enjoy their food over a talk abt there golden days. The food is good and a very nostalgic place for the old Bangaloreans.

A well maintained hygienic breakfast restaurant that’s easily been in business since 25 plus years. It’s a bit tricky to locate the place. They have ample seating. The prices for breakfast are a bit on the costlier side but the service and taste is really justified. We ordered a plate of poori, idly vada , kesari bath and two cops of coffee which amounted to around 400₹.The poori wasn’t too oily and the sagu was delicious. I would recommend this if you’re eating here. The idly vada was great as well. The Kesari bath was a little too sweet but nevertheless a good try. The coffee was something that really stole the show. It was brilliant. Make sure you don’t miss the coffee from here.

Hidden inside a huge compound on Magrath road, there is ample parking and is popular among old Bangaloreans.We tried idli n vada followed by masala dosa and coffee. Despite being priced on the higher side, the food is fresh and tasty and would definitely recommend a visit.

One of the best breakfast places in town.Their Pongal, Vada, rava dosa, sambar and chutney is lip smacking.Sunday mornings have to go soon or the waiting time goes up to 30-45 minutesOverall a good place.

I was looking for a nice place to stay near my office on MG Road, and had been here for lunch earlier, so felt it would be nice place to stay. However, while the room was spacious, well appointed, and hygenic, there were few aspects that I wasnt very impressed by. 1) The property is a bit old, and the rooms, sheets, washrooms show that age; 2) the mattress wasnt comfortable at all and a far cry from what we would expect at a star hotel; 3) the staff is unreachable at night after 11PM, they would pick up after many rings, and wouldnt be as nice and courteous as they are in the daylight hours.Good place to stay on a budget, but I wont be coming back after my experience with their night frontdesk manager (nothing much, just an unpleasant character).

The hotel was quite good.. Attended IELTS examination for speaking test. There will be some people to guide you. Also you can keep your belongings safe. Overall experience was pleasant and smooth. All the best to the people who were going to take the test.

Ordered Food was served one after the other,the entire family could not enjoy the dinner together.for ex., one of the starters ordered arrived when some main course dinner was on the table. Rava dosa was like chips, set dosa, which ballal was famous for was like dry rotis, this is the first time we experienced such bad food and service in the last 20 years. Reporting had no effect. We were asked to write in the feed back book. MANAGER who was their watching the scene did not bother to Talk and understand the issue.Big let down by Ballal

This place is like little unknown to our generation specailly being the MG road side.Its a family place. The ambience is little retro style and food is fine. The staff is also good.Overall : The Ambience and food is fine. If you are traveling by Cabs then its little hard to find one around.
