A very good restaurant, used to enjoy eating food here. But I found their packed eateries counter was 25 percent full !!!Last week one Afternoon, we found they had no other options, except a Fixed Lunch!!!Most of their packed eateries were good and food exemplary, But Not anymore....Overall, I am fully disappointed...

The place quite compared to the outside noisy traffic ,nothing much ,plain paint and no decor only seating.Food is exorbitant amount for simple plain dosa.(70) The taste is actually nice , service is slow. I feel they are kinda lazy staff.Normal Indian menu with super expensive pricetags.Unexceptional ...... At least for my taste buds.

Maiyas is an Ok restaurant for south Indian cousine. I visited the place twice to have breakfast. Both the times finding a good parking space was frustrating. We ordered dosa, idli and coffee. Although, all three were good but none of them raised the bar and hence the average rating. The restaurant also has a store where you can buy cookies and stuff like that. Overall, its ok to visit this place once in a while.

I was really looking forward to a proper south Indian breakfast but was left with disappointed.Idly was small and overpriced. The dosa was soaked in ghee, I could hardly taste dosa batter. Sambhar is not provided with plain dosa. The sambhar was sweet beyond the traditional Karnataka sambhar. The coffee was okay and expensive for a tiny cup.The toilet were so dirty and lost my appetite.

A fairly decent place for dining. I had been on a Friday and it wasnt crowded much. Prices are typical of a service based restaurant and food also tasted ok. Not too good, but not bad either. In a Busy area like Malleswaram, it is easy to come across many such eateries which offer sit and dine facilities, with vehicle parking. But here, the Parking is an issue. Malleswaram Police is as it roaming around like a Hawk waiting to lift your vehicle from so called no Parking spots.Menu here is not limited, there is quite a variety. And also a Bakery present outside allows you to pick up some munchies while on the move. But waiting time can be disappointing. Instantly available stuff like Meals, Idly, Ice cream etc are served within minutes. But for some other items, the wait can seem endless.Washroom has a narrow path leading to it. And handwash has only one basin.

This place is a combination of restaurant as well as a packed-food store. The restaurant is not always open, but the store is.Not located on the main road itself but on 11th Cross road, connecting sampige road & margosa road.Visible at slow or regular speeds on a vehicle. There is no parking lot or structure. Park on the road at your own risk.I reached here by 3:30 maybe, the store was open as usual. The restaurant was also open, but the only thing being served was lunch, no other things on the menu. None. The lunch was South Indian vegetarian/ modern Brahmin style. Starting with pickles, poori(2 Nos, the server will come for a second round) sprouts palya chatni & sagu, then bisi-bele-bhat with ghee & raita, later with white rice & sambar ( the server will come again for seconds), Mysore pak pakoda murku & hapla at sides. Kheer & curd are also provided at the same time, ending with fruit salad & ice cream., .........with a lunch like this ( costing about Rs.150~190 maybe, per head ), one cant complain about the menu. Some people like the taste, some dont, as this is not your typical restaurant meal as all the food served here is made in maiyas flavor & method. The major customer base is mostly people in their 40s - 60s, who have tasted the MTR brand of quality food during their days. And as this is not a pizza burger kind of place, other than bajji/bonda/vada/dosa which is available, they keep the youngsters away.

After visiting the temple street, we headed to Maiyas for Veg lunch. Being a sunday, there was crowd and we had to wait for 20 minutes. In the veg meal, Bisibellabath is definitely good. Service and staff attitude is good. The dessert they serve is not up to the mark. Hand wash is a big problem. Only one tap and you have to wait in a long queue. May be on week days, people may not face these issues. Maiyas, being such a popular brand, should look into this.

Maiyas has a good name when it comes to South Indian food.. Well, this place when it comes to restaurant service space is not that clean.. The wash area and the rest rooms are just horrible and stinks.. Would request the management to take some measures as far as hygiene is concerned. The coffee shop attached along side is good.. My husband does not miss to sip coffee ☕ whenever we pass by. Cost is reasonable.. Try out!

Maiyas does not take customer reviews or feedbacks.1) I was about to buy bun, butter and jam packet. But the bun had grey layer on top. I told the cashier that it has grey layer (fungus) which was very much visible. His reply was, this is because jam had gone inside the bun. And I was surprised when he asked the other person to keep the same pack in the rack (I was still billing other products and in rude tone).2) I purchased a packet of masala powder in November, 2018. The manufacturing expiry date was December, 2018. The product was manufactured in January 2018. Ideally most of the products are manufactured in January. So ensure the manufactured date is checked before billing. They wouldnt exchange immediately after billing also. Their reply to me was you still have a month of expiry (irrespective of quantity you purchase).I suggest them to treat customer politely first and take their feedback. Understand that even customer can see or read what is printed in your products.

Maiyas Restaurant Not impressive today.PositivesNice ambience, ample ventilation, great location. Ready to cook food range is impressive.Negatives..Visited Maiyyas with family around 1030 am today, most popular dishes like idli vada, chowchow bath, set dosa etc was out. First time I got a Raitha along with Bisibele bath?. Yuk .. Bisibele bathe was not hot enough also.. Staff apathy was apparent, felt very much unwelcome.Ordered poori., poori was poorly prepared, even Rava idli was not good. Felt its not tasting as usual. After paying 475/- for breakfast then also we were not feeling full or satisfied. But the ready to eat foods range is good, only thing is they will charge 25/- for a cloth bag, similar bags available I Reliance trends at 6/- rs a piece.Other than ready to eat foods total disappointing visit to Maiyyas a today. Checked with some friends they said they stopped visiting Maiyyas long back.
