Just a simple and peaceful place to be at .. staffs are pretty friendly and quick at least on week days. . Almost empty on week days . . We had their jalapeno poppers which was really crunchy and nice . . And their Mexican chicken which was just average m. . Ambience too is just average .. but with less crowd and separate space for smokers.. its a peaceful place to jam in ..

It was a sort of a big union at Baar union. Around ten of us had met this place at HSR layout. The seating facilities is pretty good. They can accommodate more than 100 people. I loved the frames and minor graffiti works on the wall, especially in the outdoor of the restaurant. The dance floor may be small but we enjoyed a lot dancing all the way.🇸The service at this place is pretty good, the crew members are courteous and they are well aware of what they are serving. Communication is not a problem either.🇫🍽️What I ate ⁉️🥚Egg pakoda ➡️ They were definitely not the conventional pakodas. An egg was placed inside the pakoda batter. It was fried well and tasted good. The chutney complimented well with the pakoda.🧀Cottage cheese balls ➡️ The cheese balls were pretty mean. The presentation was good. It didnt taste as much as what I expected. I was touch disappointed with the Malai murg tikka. It would have been great if it was more juicy. The balance of flavour from the creamy yoghurt was missing.🥔Veg stuffed nachos ➡️ The nachos were simple yet tasted good. It was loaded with cheese all the way. There was a nice spread of sauce around the nachos. The quantity was pretty high as well. It served as one of the best bar bites along with the beer.🍸Safe sex ➡️ It truly played safe with a mixture of flavours such as the cranberry, orange and peach syrup. It was more than what I had expected in terms of taste and just loved it.All in all the Baar Union is a medium sized pub which packs a great punch with their mockails and food. Loved the place. Good food and has Zomato Gold (2+2). Nice Bollywood ambience. Service was great. Unhurried. We had a birthday party and it lasted really long and we were very late leaving from there and they had the patience to wait till then. Will definitely visit this place again.

The appetizers served included Egg Pakodas, which were pretty likable and also something you dont see much on menus; Mixed Vegetable Pakodas were also tasty; Cottage Cheese Croquettes were my favorite. A fantastic amalgamation of Paneer and Jalapenos, they were served with Chipotle dip. I even requested a custom dish - A vegetarian version of the Mexican Fiery Chicken. The sauce looked superb and inviting...they got us a serving with Paneer.It was the best thing Id had that evening, however, the spicy levels were no match to my palate :-) Veg Momos were also good, the filling was well flavored. I also liked their Stuffed Mushroom. Malai Paneer was popular on my table, it was so well cooked and creamy.The mixed sauce Spaghetti was decent, nothing extra ordinary...the Paneer Makhani was really nice and creamy.Staff is super friendly and energetic. The DJ played some great mixes.

Lets now talk about each aspect separately.Location: It is located in Sector 6 of HSR on 17th Cross Road just opposite to Star Market.Ambience: Ambience is pretty brilliant and has a Bollywood type theme. When you enter you will encounter flashy make-up room mirrors. You will see a lot of desi style graffiti as well as words like Dream Girl, Jannat written on pink walls. The lighting is dim with two screens for sports screening and a dedicated dance floor.Food and Beverage: The food menu is a multi-cuisine menu which a variety of bar bites and main course.I tried the following cocktails:1. Pina Colada: It had a sweet yet refreshing taste. It had White Rum, Pineapple Juice, Coconut Milk and Vanilla Icecream.2. Whiskey Sour: It was one of the smoothest Whiskey Sours Ive ever had. It had Whiskey, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, Lemon and Egg White. RECOMMENDED.3. Doctors Prescription: It was a hot cocktail. It had Brandy, Condiment, Cardamon, Cloves, Mint leaves, and honey. It was served in a large cocktail glass. I would recommend you to try this if you seriously have a cough or cold, otherwise, go with regular cocktails.4. After Dark: This was served in a long beer glass and had beer as well vodka in a shot glass infusing with the beer inside the long glass. Also, it is one of the best--looking cocktails. RECOMMENDED.They have almost all varieties of regular bottled beers with Kingfisher and Budweiser Draught Beere on the tap.In bar bites along with the drinks, I will recommend you to try: Veg and Chiy Dimsum, Devils Chicken, Assorted Bhajji, Crispy Prawns and Veg Stuffed Nachos.Staff and Service: The staff is well trained and has awareness about each and every item in the menu. The place is much spacious and worth visit for the Young crowd.Food what we had is:-1) Hara bhara kebab - tasted yummy.2) veg steamed momos - this was really good.3) chicken momos4) paneer makhani biriyani - this was not that much good, but was ok with it.5) peanut masala - my favorite one. Baar Union is good for just a casual visit with just a glass of Beer 🍺 but very bad for Corporate outings or parties.. had a bad experience with team without DJ and when asked to play good music to manager he says Speakers are repaired and cant play music etc.. i woyld not suggest this place for anyone who wants to Drink, Party n Dance for DJ..

When we run out of office and try to reach you guys, open the menu at 6:58 pm and realize your happy hours offer ends at 7 and try to order, youd better serve it to your customer, not say by the time it comes itll be after 7 so no. Also, why have 100 items on your menu when you only have 4-5 in stock? Save everyone time and make a one page menu.

This is one of the restaurants who forced me and my friend on two instances to give a 5 star rating in the app to avail Zomato gold. The waiter was rude and stated that bat would not serve me drinks (2+2 offer) until they review the feedback. I was feeling disappointed with their behaviour and when questioned they were harsh and rude...no apologies or empathy for what so ever. I will never step into this place and would never advice anyone to experience the same, there are quite a lot of options available in that vicinity, great service and offers.

Stumbled upon this place on a sunday evening in HSR. It has Bollywood theme music, which took me by surprise as they were playing songs from 90s - 2000, and it felt so good to hear them. It also makes this place different from rest of pubs as they are hellbent on EDM and loud music.They have good variety of drinks and starters and main. chilly butter garlic prawn was really really good. Man this place is my go to place in bangalore. Happy, sad, angry, frustrated, depressed. All i get is pitcher and fries. But last ime i tried the aloo paratha. Man that aloo paratha and chilly mayo. Perfection. I just love this. So much has happened over a beer for me here.

The place rates very high on Zomato so my friends tried this place on a Saturday. We were very disappointed with the crowd and ambiance because it did not leave up to the ratings it shows. On seeing the menu, we understood the reason for such a high rating. This is one of the cheapest pubs I have been to on par with easy tiger in MGRoad. You can get a 30ml 100 pipers within 200 and it is even cheaper during happy hours. The draft beer for kingfisher is cheap as well. They have zomato gold on drinks as well. Visit the place end of the month when you are low on cash.
