Their quality, taste and service are good.They need to arrange their item like supermarket, wherein Customers can select whatever they want and pay at the cash counter. During my Childhood almost all weekends my father used to bring Khara buns,Puffs and Aloo buns from V B Bakery, Those days all food items were too Good that i cant express now. Some emotions of memories were literally attached.But Recently all the way from Vidyaranyapura we visited V B Bakery and Utterly disappointed. Normal bakeries are far best than this bakery. Cost is toooo high and impatient employees and pathetic taste. I never expected Veg puff to be tasteless and stuffing was pathetic in that. even Aloo bun was not good..Instead of making money give good quality of food and even quantity is also very less.Highly Disappointed..!! I do not recommend V B Bakery Anymore..!!

Excellent place this bakery is older than me😂 and my grandfathers favorite place and so it lives upto its expectation. I bought an sandwich biscuit which was awesome it was just 300/kg. The very smell of the biscuit itself tempts you. It is an must try.

It has become very ordinary bakery in terms of quality. These so called cashew and salt biscuits tasted so bad. The reason for the same not known but they were one of the landmark bakery of Bangalore. Nowadays lesser known bakerys are providing quality products.

After a long wait a couple of month had a chance to visit the 65 year old bakery from VV puram that is been serving baked items such as Khara bun, Puffs and alot more.VB Bakery had a big menu of which my quick pick was the honey cake and couple of stuffed buns which I had after a long time from my childhood.It was soft and more on the delicious side that was value for money. They have stuffed buns, sweets, cookies of which I am yet to try much more.

Bun butter jam, sponge cake and rusk are a must try here. The bun butter jam was out of the world experience. Also though i havent tried they have cream pastries and congress bun which heard is a good try here.

Not the same anymore. Hardly any special items and the existing items taste just the average. The Congress Bun Masala tasted half as good as it was before. They need to up their competition if they want to be something more than their legacy.

My dad is a big foodie and I proudly claim that I have it in my genes! He has unknowingly always taken me to all the eating joints which are now the legendary restaurants or food joints of Bangalore and one such place is V B Bakery. This Bakery offers everything under the sun! From cakes to pastries, sweet and spicy buns, biscuits, rusks and all sorts of breads. The milk biscuit at this place is the best! It just melts in your mouth. The other biscuit I recommend is their coconut biscuit and cashew biscuit. The veg puffs are yummy too. However the honey cake which used to be so irresistible then, now I found them very dry and just a tiny layer of the base had honey in it and hence 🌟 less! 4/5

One among the oldest bakeries in town. Had a terrific crowd pulling in its prime days. It still provides good quality food items but they havent upgraded to latest world. Their iconic badami burfi is the one to die for.

Simple old world iyengar bakery items.Dispensing guys are arrogant and impolite. Just dont understand why. This is customer oriented place. Owners should give importance to customer approach, just making money in any way should not be the objective.

And some believe it was this bakery that spawned the trend of Iyengar bakeries. We got a phenomenal menu there. I think there were about 44 dishes that I could count but I have heard of some iconic dishes that are the must try there at VB bakery. We have been a bit early there so thats why the store was not too busy.The KBC (Khara butter and congress kadlekai bun is the very popular at VB bakery it was a spicy bun and it was smeared with butter and the congress kadlekai. They were split peanuts that have been tossed in pepper corns and curry leaf masala.There was another very popular dessert called Domrut halwa which was made with ash gourd this dessert will be available only on Saturday and Sunday so you have got to go there on a weekend to catch that. And also I have tasted honey cake there which was made with pure ghee that honey cake was dense and sticky the top was light, airy and sponge but the bottom was where the sugary attack of honey hits me. This is the best bakery which is highly recommended to have some delicious cookies and also pastry items as well.

Very famous bakers & confections. Its gives nostolgic feel for old timers, who would have visited during their younger days. All the products are good and are of good quality. Dont miss their capsicum bums, onion buns and especially congress bun, which is a mixture of groundnuts. Cakes are good. Old timers will still relish the apple cake till date. Of late they have introduced choco rusk, which is good.

Recently visited this bakery.Its gone to the worst.Buns, Biscuits, Honey cake and Dumbroot was aweful....No social distance maintained and quality of the product were very very poor. Disappointed 😞😞😞

The quality of the items has come down compared to previous years since I am purchasing the bakery items from 1971. Recently I have purchased from VB bakery and some of the items they have improve the quality seriously. Their hospitality is very good.

This is just hype guys, I do accept we get hardly one or two good items here like bread and KBC, during this pandemic there is no social distancing, no masking, rude staff and cashier, they dont have card swiping machine, nor any UPI works due to network issue, cashier/owner doesnt have clarity on how much change he should return. Its such a chaos here, this is a huge down for me!Tip: please check your bill while paying if its correct, most of the times bills get exchanged due to heavy crowd and utter management failure/confused cashier!!!

Went agin today 8th March 21 for take away and bought toasted masla brown bread with spices, crispy and spicy, fruit cake, with dry grapes , it is soft but too brittle, congress bun ie masla bun with spread of butter ,stuffed with peanut mixed with spices. And loaf of brown bread . All of this cost Rs 248Visited the bakery on 18th Jan 2021 by 2 pm . There were not many customers. There is no fever check nor sanitizers at the entrance.I bought one white bread , 3 vegetable puff, toasted bread and 5 special bun it cost me Rs 209.The bakery had freshly baked biscuits cakes and undoubtedly they taste good . The puff didnt have much of vegetables but it was tasting good . I would visit the place againFresh cakes and brings childhoods memory for lavishly buttered bun butter jam kara biscuit Bombay salt fresh bread excellent walnut cake . All bakery items are fresh

The KBC( Khara Bun Congress ) is one of the oldest item I still relish from this bakery.Its a Must try!Every time I eat this, it takes me back to my childhood. So nostalgic!Their Sunday special Awarekal puff is so unique and should be lucky to get one.Here you get small size rusk.
