This bakery is most famous for its congress kadale. Be warned, it costs a bomb! At 100/- per 250g, I couldnt believe my eyes 😂The taste was below average though. Bought salt cookies which werent that good either. Stock doesnt seem fresh, probably riding on their popularity. Sri Jayalakshmi bakery is much better.They have a lot of other snacks and packed namkeen. The puffs are ok. Lot of old school cakes are available too. The biscuits and cookies are good.

My wife and I are originally from Bangalore now settled in US. We have always loved Congress from Sreenivasa Bakery as we lived in Gandhi Bazaar area.. Somebody mentioned that now we could order the same from here. Post ordering, Sreenivasa Bakery folks were just AMAZING!!! Sreenivasa Bakery is well known for older Bangalore dwellers. Some of us who left Bangalore never miss to pack Congress kadlekai whenever we visit our city. Freshness and quality have remained excellent over the decades.Last week I was informed about their online and shipping services. I immediately ordered and received my packet in 4 days, here in Seattle, WA, USA. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. We don’t have keep our “Congress” in freezers anymore. Keep it up, SBB.

Best place for savory bakery items. They have one of the best aloo buns and veg puff. They dont sell egg puff here. Plain cake is superb and very Fluffy. When you visit this place ask for a KBC, a must have and a crowd Puller.

Thanks to a wonderful Hostess Madame Vatsala, who guided us to choose the right snacks to order and thanks as well to the excellent way the items have been packed, we are enjoying every minute of eating the variety of snacks including Congress KADALEKAYI Beeja, Nippattu, Bonda Kadalekay, Avalakki mixture, Kodubale to name a few. A must for all Kannadigas living outside India to bring them closer to the hometown. We wish the Bakery and all its members the very best of the future.

Just tried the Congress Kadlebeeja. Expensive but really very tasty. I think they use the Chintamani groundnut for the preparation.

Located in DVG road. they sell many varieties of bakery items. I liked the eggless plain cake , puffs, and mixture here. They have different varieties of papad and even homemade ghee. Parking is not possible in this road so one must park the vehicle a little far away to visit this place

Once the best and was inline with VB bakery. Both have fallen from grace. Ask any old timers of Basavanagudi they will say that they have stopped buying anything but for Congress! 10+ years ago I used get everything from this bakery. But now its none. Unless they get back the old quality n taste it will slowly to oblivion. I am giving 3 stars for past performance, 10 years ago it would b perfect 5, currently it should be 2. 2 stars considering peanuts n small version of KBC.

Highly popular among the localites for typical bakery and spicy savouries. Inspite of inflationary trends and ever increasing prices the establishment has retained a faithful following due quality standards. Service is generally attentive and friendly. However during peak hours it could get unpleasant. Varieties of Rusks, Spicy fried Ground Nuts and puffed rice are my favorites. There are of cource other varieties too.
