Located just opposite to Mount Carmel college in Vasanth Nagar. Ambience is in vintage fashion decorated an oldest house using vintage doors and windows. They have outside lounges to sit and as well the service is inside restaurant. The food here is attractive to youth may be menu is targeted looking at college crowd. Most items on menu are good but coffee needs perfection.And definitely prices are not less and charge quite more.Also there is bakery attached to it with pastries and more . Washroom facility available. Parking though not structured but its available.All age groups can visit.Recommended for best hangout in that area.

New Desserted simply superb

So went to this place over the weekend before making a trip to the National Art Gallery of Bangalore. The service here was not good. The waiter and the chef are actually quite rude. Also ordered the chicken keema Dosa and egg Dosa and it was quite to my surprise served with mint chutney only. What!? This place really needs to overhaul the menu and service or surely it will be closing down soon.

Here is the place to go if youre a pastry and cake fan. The most delicious cakes are here in Vasanthnagar, Bangalore. The fries here too are very tempting and delicious as well. There are pizzas too. It is kinda costly here but nevertheless there are various mouth watering dishes to taste and this this a must visit place atleast once.

Love the place. The red velvet cake is absolutely smashing. While you are there try out their salted caramel pastry and oven fresh bread. Definitely recommend to any one looking to satisfy their desert cravings.

Desserted a place in vasanth nagar near mount Carmel college is a bakehouse and also a cafe. This cafe is basically a model home which is renovated and has a home like appearance. The place basically bakes beautiful cakes and has a wide variety of desserts as the name suggests. The cafe has sufficient amount of varieties of food which can be ordered. We ordered the famous fries which are mexican fries and desi fries. Mexican fries had cheese topped all over it and to give a spicy touch it was topped with Jalepenos. The desi fries looks quiet intriguing with the red chilli powder on fries with curry leaves and garlic spread all over the fries. We ordered the days special which was lemon chicken which had quiet a few lemon pieces with decent quantity of chicken pieces. These lemon pieces gave a tangy twist with a mouth watering taste . We also ordered the white sauce penne pasta which was very mild in the cheese touch and had a good amount of cheese and tasted brilliant. The all veggie burger was good but the patty was little burnt apart from that it had a good amount of veggies filled in the patty. The apple pie with ice cream was a perfect apple pie but the vanilla ice cream added more sweetness to the dessert. The ferraro milk shake had a perfect blend and had a rich taste of the chocolate flavour. The cakes and cookies are the perfect choices in the dessert page but please try avoiding the chocolates displayed. Parking is not a problem and you can park anywhere near the cafe.Food - 4/5Ambience - 4/5Staff - 4/5Price - 4/5Happy fooding.

The food here is just nice to indulge in, the cool, quiet ambience is more attractive. If someone wants some me time theyd probably get in here, especially in the evenings..Alfredo pasta, blueberry mojito and desi fries are my special favourites!

I thought they only made good cakes but they also serve aw some tandoori chicken and lovely ice cream sundaes.

I like all the cuisines served. Sometimes service is not up to the mark. Their desserts from the cafe as well as menu, pasta, milkshakes specially chocolate are recommended.

Its a definitely recommended place to go to and have some ice cream ,pastry and hot chocolate.its close to MCC.it was pretty amazing place.it is a small and cozy place but cute with ambiance and also have outdoor and indoor seating.if you are a dessert lover you should visit them once .

But just that its not at all good.Yeah also another thing. I got a bowl full of sunflower cooking oil when I asked olive oil for my pasta. Thats insane dudeThe staff are so lost in life, just dont understand the menu and they will not clear the table and keep stuffing new orders on top of the old ones.Its better they convert the menu to proper north Indian food and completely remove the fancy menu

Its a nice cafe. Food is ok, and desserts are ok too. There is no proper parking which makes it difficult to bring your car, you have to find parking on the road. Service is a little disorganised since the place is in a home.

Dont go by its name, the place is never desserted. Its full of youths and have a great ambience.We have ordered hot chocolate, oreo shake, corn & spinach sandwich and farmhouse pizza.Bewerages and sandwich were good but pizza was average. Deducted one star due to pizza only.

Visited this place on a firends recommendation, a cozy home like cafe next to Mount Carmel College. Loved the Hot chocolate and the Desi Fries.

None of them were wearing gloves, even the one who was preparing the dough was doing it all through naked hands with half mask on!I didnt point it out there as I was in a hurry but made it a point to take a picture. This thing has really let me down. I might as well have to think twice before stepping into Desserted, a cafe which Ive been visiting for almost 4 years now.

Truly uncomfortable chairs

Was a patron of this place for many years until recently I noticed how horrible the service in this place has become.We were made to wait 20 mins before a waiter showed up at our table. Customers who walked in after us were getting served first.Then the table was very unclean, when we asked the staff to get it cleaned, he basically used a cloth to scatter the food spilt by the previous customer on to our clothes and left unapologetically.We had to wait longer for a glass of water. The glasses came with a side seasoning of the staffs dirty fingers (yes, from the same hand he used to clean our table minutes back). The waiter slammed the plate on to our table while looking in the other direction and walked away without looking back.When we asked for our bill, the staff was confused about the table number we were seated at and took 20 more mins to trace our order and hand us a bill.We walked in for a cup of tea and some sandwiches, but what we got was a harrowing experience at our own cost.I hope Shweta, the owner of this place (I am told) reads this. I for one will never step back into this uncivil and shabby excuse of a café!!

They have great Indian food for a reasonable price. If you don’t like spicy things this would be a great place to visit! The vibes are chill, fun, and cute. There desert is AMAZING! Try it!

The name dont justify the place. Its definitely not deserted, filled with lots of flavor and aromas. Has a good seating facility both inside and outside. Good staff. Lots of options to choose from. Tastes just right whatever you order. Parking is bit of an issue. Good for couples to spend eternal time there. Has both veg and non veg options.

The food was terrible. The prices were much too high for the quantity of food. I would not recommend the place to anyone.

This cafe could probably be named the second classroom of Mount Carmel students. On weekdays, anytime after 12, it is crowded with spirited college students. Weekends though, it is easy to get a table. The food is okay, nothing to complain considering the price. Decor is also non descript. What works for the establishment is solely the location.

Yummy food,great Ambience....The best part about desserted is once you begin eating you cant stop. The best thing here is the red velvet cupcake, it is really tasty and everyone has to try it. Sandwiches, French fries, milkshakes are really yum too.It is in a prime location just opposite Mount Carmel college so it isnt hard to find.A must visit place which makes you keep coming for more.Hats of to the management!

One time visit . Evenings are getting dusty in winter . They could do with better cleaning . They didnt have a few items when we last visited at 6.45pm. I expected a full menu at that time . Parking is sufficient if you have a 2 wheeler. Takeaways are best .

The quality of the desserts have gone bad.. The cheese cake was just pathetic!It used to be really good when it first started out... The quality and taste was something to look out for, now that its a hype, the consistency of maintaining quality has deteriorated.

The place is a perfect hangout for all college students. A house converted into a very appealing cafe, the cafe also has a lot of tempting deserts but well the other snacks are not so up too the mark.!

Its a house converted into a restaurant, however the interiors/ambience are very well done!! Its in a corner location, opposite to Mount Carmel College. They have a bakery attached to the restaurant too. Food is standard, not the best Ive eaten at this price point, but the ambience makes up for it which is why Im rating them 5! 😇

The fairy lights here in the evening make it a gorgeous ambience for a date. But the food is even better. With a whole detailed menu and a lot of options, I’d still always pick the desi fries. It’s a place one should go to and relax! The staff here are really fun people. They also have amazing graffiti that would interest you.

The gingerbread man cookies were very attractive to the kids though a tad sweet. The plum cake had a kick to it which was nice. The banana bread here is scrumptious to say the least. Overall affordable prices and a nice place to hang out

Very innovative non veg dishes. Do opt for the specials - had a mango chicken which was exceptional. They have continental options of crepes & pastas too which are pretty good. North Indian veg dishes are not the best. Had an Alu Gobi which I will not be repeating. Service can be slow at times but being a college hang out joint thats to be expected. Good range of desserts which do justice to its name. Loved the red velvet cake. Weight watchers beware. You can avoid the bakery entrance near to Mount Carmel all together to avoid being tempted.

Raw meatballs served TWICE in a row.. The managment was very impolite.. Mannerless with how to tend to problems of the customers with regard to food. Giving raw food to a customer is considered as the customers fault and not the chefs. The servers were forcing us to eat and pay for the spaghetti after they scooped the raw meat balls out of the pasta. So disappointed and will not recommend anyone to this place.. Well the fact that I loved this place, this incident broke my hopes with this place

A perfect place to binge on junk food. Their food packaging and quality of food is good too. I have not experienced the dine in so I cannot review on the ambience. But, the challenge I have been facing is the over-doze of the sauce/mayo in their sandwiches. I guess it would be perfect if that was reduced a bit so it does not over-power the other meat/veggies in the sandwiches. I hope they take up this feedback and I do enjoy a less mayo/saucy order next time. The place is next to mcc so best place for them

Love the food here, a wide range of desserts are available, the red velvet cake is an absolute must-have. The ambience is good, a cozy space albeit slightly crowded even on weekdays. Lately the service has become terrible, they outright ignore customers who are waving frantically for attention, food is always late to arrive at the table, No tissue papers or ketchup at the table, once you ask for it thats another wait. Staff has also become increasingly callous. When the owner of the cafe is around it does go back to what it was about a year ago, but as she is not around often what we have is lacklustre service, and sometimes even iffy food. Sad to see a place that was amazing decline gradually.

Was served a plate of Raw meatballs with spaghetti. Complained to the management, only for them to tell us that we can choose another dish to compensate for it. On request that they replace the dish, we got a plate of Raw meatballs and spaghetti for a second time. Rude management and waiters ruined the experience, insisting that we take a cake as compensation rather than cancel the order from the bill so as to save themselves from questioning from their superiors. Truly disappointed by the behavior of the staff.

It was good before renovation for pastry wise at least. Something or someone has been changed in this restaurant, I don’t feel the same good as before anymore.Probably a couple of year ago, plum cake was good but not anymore, I think cakes are very so so now, price has raised and especially puff tastes not good at all. I used to buy egg puff, it was best one I have ever had in Bangalore but I haven’t seen it every time and the other puffs didn’t taste the same as before. I’m sure there were many changes about bakery which was the pastry chef or something else.

Nice place to hangout. Good ambience and friendly staff. However, the cost of food is expensive. An eggless cake sure costs less in a 3 star hotel than at Desserted.

Good eatery with variery. A bit pricey. But the most uncomfortable is the seating. Infrastructure wise very poor set up. None of the electric sockets work whether for charging mobiles or laptop. A lot to improve. If only they develop it into a work out of a cafe concept, will be a great location.

“Nice concept restaurant”Desserted has been designed using lots of old furniture, cushions, etc., in a old building. I liked the way these folks have conceptualised the design of the interiors, lighting, etc., very different I must say. Breakfast throughout the day....now thats what I like! Good choice on the menu. Only vegetarian menu at present. We Visited yesterday night for desserts and soft drinks...we liked the place and will certainly visit to try their breakfast soon.Visited in May 2013.

We tried the Nutella cheesecake which was great. The red velvet cupcake was moist but the frosting was a tad bit too sweet. Its a nice place to hang out with friends.

Ordered a chicken fried rice... The served dish had excess salt in it... Way more than what a accommodating person cud handle and when it was brought to the notice of the waiter, his response was to dump some ketchup and all will be well... When I informed him am not a fan of the tomato based sauce, he stood unwilling to take the dish back to the chef but a lil perseverance on my part succeeded.. 10 mins later, he brought back the same stuff just reheated and all cud do was just dump it down my throat... Already was late for my meeting... Next time, stay away was a lesson well learnt!!!

Favorite location for youngsters and college students. Red Velvet cake is good and recommended. Birthday cakes can be made and provided in minutes. The place is run with care and love, really appreciated.

People working here must first learn to treat people in a well mannered way. Learn your basic manners and principles before reaching out your poor services. Overrated place,also prices are high and definitely not worth it.

One of kind designed and baked cakes. Overpriced. But I was looking for gluten free cake. And she gave me the yummiest cake ever. Plus restaurant serves variety of Continental dishes.

Undoubtedly the best cafe to go to in central bangalore. Clean, friendly, great variety, amazing chocolates, and a keen staff which is always on their toes. Very very friendly bunch of people. Have been there over 50 times and never have had a bad experience. Kudos to Desserted

If you meet Divya and Tamil Kumaran youre in luck. Theyll take good care of you. We tried the banana Nutella pancakes which were just yum. Dosa and chicken curry was a hit too. Place is clean and the guys who served us were warm.

This place has a huge menu but no bread or rice for people who cannot eat simple carbohydrates. Like chappati, ragi mudde or wholewheat bread. Prices are higher than the average local places too. We couldnt find anything we could eat here, walked out, and found another place 3 mins away with more options at a fraction of the prices here.

Pathetic service by Mr.Vivin alok . Very rude waiter, no manners how to treat and talk to people and specially girls. Fooling customers and Manager by serving normal bread, with cheese and chilli flex on it in the name of garlic bread. I highly wont recommend this place to visit. And there are lots of mosquitoes on this place.. If you have self respect and care for health dont visit and recommend this place.
