Superb place to buy all breeds of fishs🐠🎏

First thing first - this place is huge. Not like any average fish shop we find in Bangalore. Its posh and cosy. A family can spend some quality time here looking for best fish for their needs. There is a huge sofa around a pillar, if you want to relax. Now to the point- fish collection is good. More than the average shop. But not the best. They have good collection of planted and rock aquariums on display. Rocks, woods and other items are aplenty. A few birds also present. The only one thing lacking is enthusiasm of salesmen. They did not take the opportunity to sell me anything (meaning they did not explain anything to me/my son). Just gave me the fishes we already selected. Price of the fish is high, which is understandable considering the ambience and location of the place.

Best place for aquarists.. can find all the perfect stuff for aquascaping.. can get good suggestions form seller..

Experience after sales is very bad . Most of their tanks are filled with parasites than fishes . The tanks are maintained properly also . Bought a goldfish here . It died with a day even in cycled water. The staff misguide their customer.

These guys are amazing! Recently I had a 6ft planted aquarium set done by them and they have executed it so perfectly! The fishes are so healthy as well as the look of my aquarium! It’s been 3 months now and my aquarium looks so amazing! I recommend this place above all!

Gulmarg has been a one-stop shop for all my fish and aquarium needs for years, with their wide range of the colourful medley of fishes and accessories in pocket-friendly options. Their staff is very friendly and accommodating. Always a pleasant experience.

You can find a variety of fish & a many types of aquatic plants & different kinds is aquariums. You can find all accessories / items for an aquarium.Really good set up & service done by the people. And also loved the way the sand is placed in layers, its really cool.

Just visited this place yesterday and no doubt they do have some of the amazing marine as well as fresh water fishes. Though, i felt their aquariums are quite costly with the full setups.But it becomes one of my favourite place to be visited till now. So i personally recommend everyone to check out this amazing place.

If you are looking for fishes turtles birds . This shop is one place stop for all the needs. The employees are helpful and knowledgeable about the stuffs being sold here. They are really subject matter experts in their own fields.

Over priced place. Fooling customers. You can get fishes and aquarium at much much cheaper priced elsewhere. Not recommend at all.

I bought 5 pairs of various aquarium fishes from the place and 3 pairs died on the next day. And all others died the coming next day. The service is too poor and the way they handle the fish is too bad. I saw a lot of fish dead in the aquariums in the store.I never recommend this to anyone.I had bought fishes nemo aqua pets which is of very good quality. They have immense knowledge in fishes and take very good care.

The attitude matters. Hesitates to even answer queries. Setting up at home or delivery will be the experience after sales. Very very bad attitude. Buying multiple times from here and worst experience.But had quality fishes and they will try cheating you with non genuine foreign breeds.If you pay, anyone can get good reviews anywhere. Once experienced will support me.

Good place to buy fresh water aquarium fishes, they also stock Marine and pond fishes. You can also buy aquarium accessories and Tanks. Pls reach out to Rafi for guidance he is very knowledgeable and can guide you thru the process of selecting fishes and what you would need to maintain them. They have a good stock of Glodfish and Angels available currently at the time of writing this post.

Found few fishes dead and not removed.. being a hobbist i did not find it a good practice. However variety of fishes available with add ons.

Small aquarium, but good variety of fish on offer, both freshwater and saltwater. It looks a bit rundown with lots of dirty tanks. Was surprised to see even exotic fish dead and floating in some tanks

Extremely expensive place. They charged me ridiculous amount of money for ordinary fish and aquarium plants. Not worth at all! There are better aquariums in koramangala and HSR layout. Felt very cheated by these folks!

Seriously over priced.. they will try to sell things that u dont really need. if u r a first timer n not aware of what is really needed v/s good to have v/s unnecessary...high chances you will be conned n come out feeling betrayed. Check the prices online before making the deal.Just minting money is the goal..no ethics.eg: they will sell u 4 bags of aquarium soil when just need 1. They will sell u huge size filter when u just need basic one. They will sell u really big lights when your aquarium just needs half of it.

I visited for getting info and buying a Indian made aquarium the moment I said i am new to this hobby he made a face and tried ignoring giving same answers not found then Interested may be cus they getting out of this business and making a perfume Showroom thats why. Worst place to buy fish from. With all these great reviews I went there to buy a school of neon tetras for my planted community housing roughly 60 fish shrimp and snails. Now my fish tank has been infested with ich and half the tank has died due to the parasite the fish purchased at gulmarg aquarium carried. This has been a deviating loss and I want everyone to know not to purchase anything from these scam artists. They dont care about the life of fish just money.

Cant really explain the horrible experience we went through. They charge high & when it comes to quality they say they have the best (LIE). Our tank cracked by itself in 10 days, & when we asked for replacement, they say they dont give any guarantee/warranty & we have to again pay the full price. Also because of this issue being dragged over some days (our aquarium was kept with them & fishes at home in bucket for which we were told there will be no problem) 2 days later 2 fishes died :(They are running a business, hence dont bother about our feelings.Dont wanna give even 1 star, but no option. I wish I had the option of giving them MINUS.

Worst experience. I went there to set up my aquarium. The lady staff was so helpful in explaining the details and gave me lots of options for aquarium set up . She told me to take various items and offered me a good discount. The moment i went to pay the amount to the cashier she was no were there in vicinity (might have been busy helping other customers) . The cashier called someone who told him to give 175 rs as discount for a purchase of 3500 rs + . i had purchased siphon, red substrate, water condition , 2 aquatic plants,decorative stone and wood .i said i can find a better store and walked away . i clearly know that items are overchargerd they said siphon costs 175 , but i thought if they give a good discount i can be a frequent customer of the aquarium. i can get the same materials online for 150 rs then why going there and wasting my time?

Too expensive. They dont even try to behave with their customers properly. I visited this place 2 times and for the same pair of fish same stock the prices varied from rs.90 per pair to rs.150 per pair. For the same fish at other stores the standard price per pair was rs.60.

These guys are the best in every aspect. The staff Mohd Sheraz and Rafi are very courteous and friendly with Customer Service and Satisfaction being their priority. Excellent follow up as well once the Aquarium is installed. Thumbs up to them.

The shop is big and has verity of fishes the owner has good knowledge on fishes.But u may have to take bank loan if you are planning to setup medium to large size aquarium by shopping fishes and goods from here.

Please dont buy any item from this place, baught a fish bowl but it broke the next day with the fishes inside all by itself, 1 fish died due to the trauma, baught whats remaining of the bowl to their store and they couldnt care less, didnt even offer to replace. If you love your fishes dont buy anything from here, they sell all defective stuff as given by most of the ratings here

Knowledge of fish and set ups make this the best place in bangalore. They have been in the business for ages. They easily have the most tanks set up in offices and houses around bangalore. People call them to clean their tanks which they do for cheap if u a regular customer. Their shop is a whole new experience.

Will cheat you if youre not aware and do not cross-check prices. Sold me a 3ft aquarium (which i needed urgently to temporarily house a prized Cichlid collection). I later found out that I had paid 4 -6k extra. My fault for not checking earlier. But zero points for their ethics.They have a huge floor space/ retail space - but were not stocked with even basic stuff on my rcent 4 visits to the place.Their staff are very courteous and attend to you immediately but have no clue about fish or science of water and management of substrata - Being the oldest and most established aquarium in Koramangala (over 20 years old if im not mistaken) - they have not had a single workshop or learning facilitation for their regular clients.Gulmarg is an Ideal place for beginners - If you want professional advice and suggestions and are serious about the hobby - this is not the place for you.

These people just dont care about the trouble you go through. I bought a tank from them with 5 fishes at Rs 6000 (which is way more than the price at other stores). Got it fitted with all that they asked for (temp. control, oxygen, etc). The tanks quality is so poor that it has already cracked (I bought on 4th Sep.). Also when I called the staff, to ask for a replacement 1 of them shouted on me at the top of his voice and used the words tumhari mann maani nahi chalegi. Is this the way you treat your customers? I wish I could give them negative rating.

Hi all,I recently came here and gave a full round.The shop is majestic and it will take almost an hour just to give a complete round (a proper one) and check all that they have to offer.ok the review ----1. Customer service - This might vary from person to person but i was escorted throughout the shop and the lady who showed me around had a good knowledge of fish and stuff. No complains on that front.2. Variety - They have a huge variety of fish and hardly there is something that you wont get here ( i didnt find koi colored goldfish, redcaps, veiltail angels, redsword tails or red molly a little disappointing for me) . Variety in the accessories and aquarium needs is the strongest point for the shop i must say. they have magnificent arowanas, chiclids and red parrots, they even had proper albino angels .3. Now the Prices - This is the worst part of the shop. Though the accessories had a reasonable pricetag (maybe 10-15% more than normal small shops) but the fishes were moderately overpriced. (at least 20-40% more than normal).This was a turndown for me as im from KOLKATA and as it is Bangalore prices hurt my eyes. Gulmarg prices were a little steep ( minimum the prices were 5 -8 times more than my hometown, but you have to know from where you have to buy them in Kolkata). But since this shop is a one stop solution it might be okay for a little rich people.6. i hope they provide good after sales for the prices they charge.If anyone reads this and knows similar shop with less prices do post me in google cirle or something.((I am going around bangalore slowly and review every aquarium shops which i feel i might visit again))
