I hired xuv500 recently. Condition of the car was terrible. Only the cars with (new) tag are in decent condition(prefer such cars while booking).Their fuel refund policy is so messed up. I returned the car with 3 points extra fuel (~21 liters extra in a 70 liters tank) but they refunded only for 10 liters.Every time you hire a car, they charge 50 extra for fasttag. I dont understand their logic.Car delivery and pickup experience was good so far.

These people are inhumanly terrible ... We took a car, it stopped midway in a jungle... We did our best to try to restart it, get it back to safety (wasted 1 night and day for this) ..... Support whilst all this was extremely poor from zip and they made fake promises as well.... But as soon as we did our bit to get the car to a safe place with a mechanic, they flipped..... Didnt make refunds we deserved to get, at the end we had a sloppy weekend which resulted in a 10k loss ... The team is so bullish that they have stopped responding to emails now.... Going to report these losers to the consumer courts now.... Avail at your own peril

Employee ID or business tax slip is mandate otherwise they will cancel the booking.3. Car which I got was average not too good not too bad. Better check once.4. While booking they add covenance fees. Didnt understood what is that.5. Payment will not reverse to same credit card. Either they can transfer to your bank account or phone pay or Gpay. 4-7 working days.6. If you are paying amount via online. Credit, debit or NetBanking. They will charge additional 1.5% on your amount.

I took my I20 car to change petrol pipe. First they said one amount after work they demand more amount, on top of it they talked very badly, I strongly recommend not visit this shop.

Took innova crysta on 23 to 26 dec from Bangalore to Goa. Car was delivered before time. Very nice customer care and service.No restrictions on speed and km. I am very much happy for their service and car condition. I will recommend this to everyone.

For long journey this rental service is better, as I started booking with them when they had one office ..and now they have more than five.I would say discount are not that great, however they do take care of customer.I am speaking only for this amrutahalli HQ.

Excellent car leasing service with descent and flexible staff. Service is quick and fast. They have maintained cars. I am one of their regular client. Additional bonus point is an added advantage which are calculated on your miles driven. Overall a good service. I would recommend zip caars.

Used their vehicle for four days (18th to 21st Oct, 2017). Terrible experience starting with booking. The car I booked was reported as damaged and I was forced to pay for a costlier vehicle. The vehicle was delivered later than appointed time and the driver who delivered it was too casual about being late. He also challenged me to complain to whoever you wish to; I dont care. The vehicle was delivered quite dirty (outside as well as inside). One of the seat belts was not fixable.The vehicle was delivered with tank nearly empty although the website clearly states that it would be full tank. On questioning, they said customers do not return full tank and so they have started this empty tank delivery. This was a shock since I had to leave early and thus had to spend time at a fuel station to fill up. This added to the delay caused by the late delivery of the vehicle. They also said that you can deliver with empty tank (sic). How does one ensure empty tank at the end of the journey? They then said they would give the money for the estimated fuel balance. The estimate would be by them, of course. This, too , they would be paying to me within three days by transferring to my Bank account (another unexpected surprise!). When I protested that I had paid for the fuel in cash and that they should have sent the cash with the car pick up driver, they simply stated that no cash would be paid. That is the Company policy!! Period.All in all an unreliable service, high-handed approach, unethical behaviour and downright rude personnel. Even the interaction with the firms partner (Ms Sudha) was very unpleasant, to put it mildly.It is the worst experience that I have had with any self drive car Company. To be avoided completely.

They are most economical & quality wise very good self drive service I have come across in Bangalore. We hired an Innova car for outing with friends, i must say that initially I was a bit apprehensive about ZipCaars but after using their service, I am happy on my decission. The car was top end, clean & well maintained, i enjoyed driving it.

Paper were not up to the mark and I had to pay fine of Rs.500 for their car. Also, I had some zipmiles in my account and these guys keep playing with their website. All my zipmiles and my past trip data is wiped out. Useless. Their condition is well reflected by their websites condition.

Best place in bangalore to take self drive rental cars

The car we rented was a Maruthi Ertiga, interiors of the car and engine were in decent condition but the wipers were worn out, wheels were not aligned and tires were in very bad condition. We suffered poor visibility at night, a flat tire and severe delay to our trip due to this, worst part was when enquired about this to the crew they misinformed us that the tire condition was good. I would rent again but be very careful and make sure of the condition of the car.

The main reason for their low rating is the insurance policy they have. There is no clear documentation on the insurance amount and maximum liability. From our conversation, we came to know that we might be liable to up to half of the car value (8 lakh liability for a 16lakh car) in case of a damage. They told that no one will provide full cover for a self drive car, but companies like zoomcars maximum liability is 10000 rupees. This really affected our trip and we were worried through out.The car we got was in very bad condition, suspension was completely damaged. We paid extra to get a 12 month old car but ended up suffering. Even the remote key lock feature was not working in the car. We had to fight with the power window switches to get them working everytime.This was the cheapest car that we found. But would any day pay the 3k extra that zoomcar was charging for the quality and piece of mind they offer

Good service, and some of the car tyres are not good, and they cost too much for the damages, I had rented a etios liva for a day, while delivering the car one wheel cap was missed and they charged me 1000...........
