Great food and reasonable pricing. The dishes we tried tasted great, and felt light yet filling - made for an enjoyable dinner.Especially liked that the dishes were distinct from regular IndoChinese fare. Lots of seafood-based options, another uncommon thing.Seating is comfortable, although occupies the malls central foyer, so visitors should not expect fine-dining ambience. We dined on a weeknight, so there was hardly any crowd and it was mostly quiet.
Thai House in Indira Nagar rumours to have authentic Thai chefs.. But I think they were authentic enough when I had their padthai and Stir-fried squid with curry. A must must must try is this Side dip they have with the Beef Grill.... I still have no idea what it was or what it had, but it was amazing. The waiter (lovely chap btw) told it some chilli sauce, but it had some taste that wanted me to come back for more - do order the Beef Grill for this and please let me know what it was.
Undoubtedly the best place in town for authentic Thai street food. Consistency is there
It was my 1st time tasting Thai food, looks authentic and I loved it. Must try.
Authentic Thai street food. Awarded Thai select , by the ministry of commerce Thailand.
Nice place .. if u want remember thailand food
Authentic Thai cuisine. The food was really delicious π
Lovely lovely food......i am novice wrt Thai food, had authentic one only once before this.....the food here is very tasty and seemed quite different from any other cuisine I have had (and I am quite a foody).....Humungous menu.....i tried squid with salted egg and lemon fish, both were mouth wateringly delicious....Must visit this joint
A TOUCH OF THAI ON BRIGADE ROADAs the eateries have eased out of Brigade Road, Bangalore is getting geared up to handle traffic, lakes (or what is left of them), Metro rail (With faulty towers, never ending deadlines and throwing traffic into sheer turmoil), Pan National job seekers, employees, migrant labour and a Govt. that has no clue to strategy or survival. The future of the city is scary. Nobody thinks of the cityβs future when all their energy ends up focussing on getting from here to there.Everyday. Thatβs scary. With exclusive Brand stores popping up on Brigade Road (think Samsung, One Plus, Levis, Puma etc) eateries have graciously moved out. Church Street stakes claim for the term βFood Streetβ with its paved pathway and a string of restaurants and cafes. Back in the days, Brigade had Rice Bowl and Shangri La for Indianese or Chinese , Nilgiris CafΓ© for South Indian self-service idlis with swirling sambar and of course Haroonβs The Only Place for steaks, burgers, roast turkey and apple pies all washed down with chilled branded beers. Much before Bengaluru became Indiaβs Pub/Beer/Brewery capital.THAI HOUSE is located in the vintage 5th Avenue building on the ground floor. Itβs a very casual laid back place, complete with yellow umbrellas and the signboards of surrounding shops throwing out LED lighting. Getting a good pic here is tough. We ordered for Sea food Tom Yum, Squid Tom Yum ( my neice loves squid) and since there was no beef that day β I agreed to the Thai grilled chicken suggested by the apologetic waiter. I felt I was sitting by a street or a casual cool, CafΓ©, waiting for my food. The place exuded that kind of casualness. The food came fast, like on a Thai street and was really good. Me being a fan of Thai street food in all its forms, I must say this place blew me away. Bang on Brigade road we discovered Thai street flavours. The seafood papaya salad was crunchy, fresh and prawns felt that they were cooked straight from the sea. The Tom Yums were yummy with the sharp tang of the Galangal, lemon grass and basil but merging perfectly with the swimming seafood flavoured coconut broth. So it was with the chicken, clean spicy, sweet and sour flavor. Their chilli fish sauce was classic Thai and it went well with the dishes. When I enquired with the Thai Lady who cooks everything up, she said she sources most her stuff (including the fish sauce) from Thailand. The pricing was also casual. For all of this we paid just Rs. 1300. There were three of us. Not bad at all, considering I got a smacking of the Thai street flavor. They have another outlet in Indira Nagar. But this was Brigade Road and to end a leisurely stroll with economical Thai food seemed like ole times. If Mr. Kumaraswamy, the chief minister has his way, Brigade Road will be only for walkers and surely then a time for some more eateries like this Thai House to open up. The future for Brigade Road does not look that bad. But the future of the Government?Thatβs another story.
Good tasty food. Must try.
The small restaurent exceeded my expectations. Delicious Thai food and great service at good rates. The dampner were the flies that attacked the dishes. Could recommend net covers ..when serving dishes.
From Eagles π¦ eye - Below are the expectations you can set before reaching1) Its not a fine dining place. It is situated inside a complex. Eating place is in an open area.2) The person who takes order is really patient and have a good knowledge about the dishes on the menu.3) Their prices are nearly equivalent to fine dining places4) The plating looked really good π5) They have a nuuuumerous varieties, especially for non veg. Veg people dont get disappointed, as there is a separate menu, though its not comparable to the non veg.6) They will prepare some non veg dishes too as veg. You can ask them.7) Food is really good. Quantity is enough for a person.8) I liked the serviceπ9) There is a juice shop just next to that.It seems both run under the same person.10) In the juice shop they serve coconut milk shake, coconut lassi etc.I even enjoyed the food along with the Honey Singhs songs from the shop next to the open area πAs it is on the brigade road, dont miss this among the glimmery restaurants.Enjoy the Thai cuisine!
Best food and great service and must visit on any special occasions good food for non veg lovers
Quality of food is not good.
This place we have been to earlier and since we were in Brigade road, we thought we will go and have lunch. The bad side first. The location is prime but the building it is in is so old that you can see its age. Also, it was not the cleanest - we could see insects crawling on some tables, on the barricades around the place etc. Now, for the food. This is very good. We liked the pad thai noodles, and the beef curry. What surprised me was the soup which was very tasty and it was complimentary - lots of coconut, lemon grass, vegetables and meat! Awesome! I really wish they would move to a newer place or do a deep cleanup of the place, it really deserves a nicer place.
Loved the food here.I forgot the drinks name but it had Longan fruit in it. Its definitely worth a try !
Some really authentic Thai food thats perfect for both first time eaters and seasoned veterans of the Thai cuisine. Theres something for everyone. The ambience is also very much like a night market on the streets of Pattaya. All in all, its a real safe bet.
Love the juices and the peaceful environment ......
Authentic Thai Food. One would spend more than any normal continental stuff but trust me, you will love it.One would be very lucky to get parking on Brigade Road and if so go for a 2 hour parking and have it patiently.
Found this place by chance! The place gives a homely feeling. Good authentic Thai food. I tried out basil chicken, black chilly paste chicken and prawns pad Thai. The flavours were just perfect!Thai house is a must visit!
Nice Thai cuisine but it is a stall not restaurant
The foods taste really good. Their service is good as well, you dont have to wait for too long before you get your order. Recommended
Great authentic Thai dishes and courteous staff.
I liked the soupy dishes, they are light and aromatic. One dish should be enough for two people unless youre either greedy or super hungry. The Tom yum seafood noodle soup is an absolute must have!
Pad Thai noodles was really tasty at this place.Location is a little minus, its inside of an old building. Its walkable from the metro station.Would visit again.
Good place
Such authentic flavour of food. Tastes and Feels like Thai...few choices for Vegetarians but a great spread of Sea food and other non veg dishes.
Super shakes
I normally rate this place 5 stars but this time the phad Thai was sweet and soggy. The mango salad wasnt good either. I guess the chef had a bad day
Great food that actually tastes like thai food! Personal favourites are the rice combos and the seafood is really well cooked.
Great flavours genuine fresh ingredients and delectable menu. A favourite always
Love this Thai restaurant and probably my favourite in Blore. The pricing is good for the flavours that you get. They have a vast variety of dishes and everything tastes as good as it can in Blore. Favourite dishes would be spicy basil beef with rice and egg, mango papaya salad, ginger garlic prawn with rice.
Zero ambience, but worth it for the yum authentic food and friendly service
Authentic Thai food. Do try their desserts. Theyre so simple yet so amazing.
One of the best place to get authentic Thai food. This place is amazing. Highly recommended
This is wonderful food that is authentic Thai. The food here is wonderful and it has been 8 visits now, I am still discovering wonderful dishes at the place. Do not be turned away by the not so pleasant decor and setting. If you like Thai food, this is highly recommended.
Best thai street food place. The noodle bowl and the black bean prawns are fantastic.
Being a Thai I can say this place serves the most authentic Thai in town and is also in the budget. Besides the shady surroundings, the food and service is great!
One of the best Thai food places i have been to in India. Worth the buck. Excellent.
Most of the items look like simple rice and gravy, but its very tasty Thai food that is served there. Small place, not very gaudy, but slightly costly for the quantity.
May be the food is only for Thai people, I had tried few variety of items but could not appreciate any. I had to drink 4 cups of green tea to get rid of this nasty taste from my mouth
Everything is priced Rs+300, Poor ambiance.Beef is well cooked and served here.
Best Thai food in Bangalore.
Authentic Thai food in Bangalore.
A nice shop...with things related to local artisans
Such authentic Thai food ...I wish to go there again n again n again
Nice place in the middle of a semi abondoned mall. Authentic Thai food lovers will have a great variety of options.
One of the place I love for eating Thailad Foods
Good food
Great place, good food
If you have any restrictions (being vegetarian) dont bother visiting. They will promise to make you what you want but under deliver. I got raw brinjal and they missed out the mushrooms. When pointed he took away and got back with mushroom which was hurriedly done. However, my wife and kid enjoyed the non veg items that were ordered. Finally, their prices are exorbitant and you would get more value at many other places serving Thai in and around that area (e.g. 13th floor)
Really amazing food!!!! The best in town for Thai
Authentic thai. The food was delicious
Most fav Thai restaurant in Bangalore. Papaya seafood salad and beef with black bean sauce is a must try.
Oh my god. I had the best squid in a while here. π
Good food.
Could not finish the Thai dish we ordered. Nothing is thai about the place. The spices used in Thai dishes are not used here.
I had come here 1 year ago, and it has gone from 98% authentic to zero % authentic. The food is more like your local thela-waala bhaiyya who cooks Chinese food. Very disappointing.
Hands down the best Thai food ever! Must not miss. Simple resto, fantastic food
Ordered food worth 4,000 INR yesterday via swiggy. very poor quality of food its not worth the price at all.
The papaya salad is yum if youre vegetarian and looking for something healthy.
Thai products available. Cheap and best
The food was authentic thai. Skip the prawn dishes as it was overcooked and rubbery. The beef was amazing. Dont go for the ambience go for the authentic Thai food.
We are repeat visitors, never get disappointed with food and service, good place, good food, good service !!
Thai cuisine is available i dont know how thai food tastes .
Just ok
Very good thai street food. I have been visiting this place from the time it was called lan thai. I tried the strong flavoured fish maw soup and it had authentic ingredients from Thailand. Dessert was also great. Highly recommended for thai food lovers
A hidden gem that we happened to walk into. Youll never guess that this small place makes the best Thai food in Bangalore city! After multiple fails at having a decent Thai meal looking at you Siam Trading & Co. And Benjarong.......both were disappointing. Thais house is as close as you can get to bangkok worthy Thai food at a reasonable price. We had the Thai green Curry, pad khi mao, and the bubble teas. All excellent . Served with authentic condiments. None of the neon green chilli sauce or ketchup. Never going anywhere else for Thai.
Best Thai food Ive eaten in Bangalore!
Authentic Thai Food, must try the Thai Green curry and Pad Thai. Out of the world!
Ordered Tom yum soup but got Tom kha. The prawn was overcooked. The Indiranagar branch has good food but mg road quality is horrible.
Not very good. Ok kind.
Great place, great food. Ignore the food court style decor though
Visited this place for the 2nd time recently.Thai house is a small joint in the middle of the shopping complex with a small open counter and few tables with umbrellas.First time was before visiting Thailand a d 2nd was after, so my opinion changed drastically. Thai food is one of the best cuisine in the world, they have so much flavour and freshness in their food.Thai house does try to replicate the Thai flavours cutting down on fish sauce to cater to Indian taste which I understand. The basil chicken has very less basil, however it tasted pretty good, spicy too.. the rice wasnt sticky jasmine rice. The fried egg let me down. Thai people make the best eggs, however this wasnt upto the mark.Iced Sweet pea- I honestly have no clue what this is. It was a indigo colored sweet iced water with no taste or smell watsoever apart from sugar. I do not know what they were trying to replicate.Surprised to see they have opened a restaurant in Indiranagar with same menu and prices. So I would suggest you visit Indirangar branch to enjoy the ambience amongst other things for the same price, hopefully the same quantity.
You will get authentic Thai food here
