Small but cozy restaurant located in 2nd floor. Nice interiors and friendly staff. The food was good and the portions served were quite filling. Ambience, cleanliness and interiors are noteworthy. The prices may be slightly on the higher side. But the food thats served makes you forget the price. Worth a try.
An Asian themed restaurant on 80 feet road. The interiors are elegant and cozy. We quickly got to our reserved table and started with their small plates. The Korean potato and crispy lotus stem were excellent. They didnt have baos and dumplings on a Saturday evening, which was surprising. So we settled for the veg pan fried buns, which was just satisfactory. The edamame in butter garlic had a weird oily taste to it. We didnt try any of their large plates or noodle bowls. Overall a decent hangout if you are looking for Asian cuisine. They must improve the menu to convey which of the dishes are vegetarian and also train the waiters, as they looked confused for any questions asked.Little bit on the pricey side and with a 8% mandatory service charge, we felt it was an expensive dinner.
Good food, affordable worth the time and money. We ordered thai curry a must try, wantons was good enough, honey chilli tofu was amazing, a Japanese style classic noodles which we didnt felt so tasty and achicken with mushrooms n rice dish we ordered which was just okay nothing very yummy. Staffs was polite and courteous. So, overall a decent place to try out.Can definitely recommend to people looking out for a different cuisine.
Nice little place near BEL road for Asian food. The ambience is great with view of the street below, looks beautiful at night. The food is pretty good as well. Some stuff on the menu isnt available so check before ordering.
This place has become one of my favourite places to eat japanese food, although they do serve other cuisines. The vibe, especially the lofi japanese folklore instrument playing in the background really brings the best out of this place. Parts of the restaurant is open roof so u do get cool breeze swooping in and making you feel dreamy. One of the cool places to bring your date and enjoy some ramen and remember about the times and journey of Naruto😂.Do ask the waiter to provide you with chopsticks and try to eat, it will help you in feel the mood.Have funPs. Food is great and wholesome.
This restaurant has pretty interior and ambience. However the price of the food is a bit high. But I liked the foods. If two people goes it would cost around 1500 for starters and main courseOr even more. We had pork ribs and baby born for starters and nasi goreng and chicken Cantonese for main course. Another con of this place is as they have open windows you may find dust in the seating places. However I want to emphasize that the pork rib and nasi goreng and the chicken was really really delicious. I would recommend people go there and try something out.
I think since they are short staffed, the service was really slow and they shut down by 10pm. We liked most of the items we ordered although the portions were really minimal. Pho wasnt served with noodles and dint taste as authentic as the ones you get in Vietnam. Beef bulgogi and its sauce was yumm.
By far, easily the worst experience Ive had in a restaurant. Waited for 90 plus minutes to recieve our order only to learn that they were short on staff. If that was the case, you could have just closed the restaurant for the day. Not just me but I will make sure that my network gets the message to avoid visiting such a torturous restaurant. Killed the dining mood.
For a very long time I was craving for a Chinese dish called Mala tang. When my sister told me about this place I thought it would be like most of the indo-chinese food. Thats Chinese food with Indian masala touch. I was looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant. But when I ordered this dish called B...... something I was stunned at the similarity of the taste...I was speechless. It was more or less the same thing it had less vegetables. Im definitely gonna come back here.PS: I didnt know it was a Japanese place
Terrible experience. They didnt have anything on their menu available. They took 30min to give us a glass of coke. The staff were not courteous and never answered any of the questions we had. Finally, when we asked them to cancel our drinks, they didnt want to do that either and finally gave us our drinks. I would definitely not come back.
An overhyped fare, if anything. There are way better Asian restaurants in the city.We were disappointed with both service and the taste. It was a game of hide and seek to find a waiter to place an order in the first place.Coming to the food, we ordered the starters and drinks. The crispy lotus stem was decent but spicy. The prawns and chicken bao were both average at best. And both the drinks were extremely sweet and overloaded with syrup. We decided to skip this place and found another restaurant for the main course.Neither the taste nor service does justice to the bill amount we had to end up paying.
Felt really sorry on spoiling my sons birthday. Had horrible and very poor service. Better avoid this restaurant.. Service is the poorest with the dullest waitress... Will never visit again.
Visited Kenzai recently and loved it. Decent menu and the food we ordered was yum. The drinks however a little dissapointing, nothing extraordinary and boring.Ambience is good with a mix of high chairs and regular chairs. Lovely decor all around as well. The staff is decent and helpful in choosing dishes. No valet parking.
The ambience is great. The service is good. The food is flavorful and aromatic. The Thai Green Curry disappointed me - they make it so damn spicy that your eyes water and you need to eat with a dessert. It lacks the soothing comforting taste of the coconut milk gravy.
A new place that serves delicious pan asian delicacies! We went here for dinner and must say the ambience is beautiful with courteous staff present.Coming to the menu, they have a number of options for both vegetarians and non. We tried the Miso Udon Soup bowl, the Crispy Tofu Baozi, Crispy babycorn and Mango with sticky rice.Everything tasted delightful and with lovely flavours that tease the tastebuds! We wish the mango and sticky rice was a little more sweeter as it tasted bit bland for our liking, but no complaints!Overall, a lovely experience at this beautiful place with pleasant staff, ready to help.Do visit to explore a budget friendly pan asian experience!#thehipfoodies
Only positive about this place is ambience, nothing else ticks. Food is very bad on every aspect taste, portion size and presentation. Service was also very slow though the resturant was only 50% occupied when we visited. Better avoid it, there are so many other better options to visit in this area.
65 minutes and counting! They still havent served the food. This has to be one of the worst restaurant experience of all time for me.
The place has nice ambience but food vise needs great improvement! We ordered 3 appetizers: beef chilli bulgogi, salmon salad, pork bao buns out of which only the beef was nice..but other two were disaster! The pork bun was low on flavour, thick dough, and I think it missed a fresh element to go with it like a small serving of salad or any sauce even! The salmon salad was actually more disastrous as I feel the salmon was not fresh and was cut in too thick portions. When making a raw salad salmon needs to be thin and fresh. So I hope they do a better job in future.. didnt taste anything else as the 2 dishes really put me off!!
A good option for oriental cuisine in BEL road. The food was above average, not fantastic. We had the teriyaki baos which were good. The Korean chicken was okay, so were the dumplings. Wok tossed noodles was again okay. I would say the taste could be more authentic as they are specialized, this had more or less similar taste to what you get at regular restaurants.
The starters are okayish but other than that I did not find any good dishes in the main dish selection too. Service is really bad we had to constantly ask for water for a single filling of our glasses. Would not suggest this place for groups bigger than 4 people. There was a really long wait time for any dish even though we were the only group in the restaurant almost 25 minutes for each dish however small it was. The veg selection was really small compared to the non-veg.
The ambience is of the finest quality. Visiting during the noon for lunch is very peaceful as there are very few visitors at this time. The menu has good variety across several Asian cuisines and the dishes are worth every rupee. 10/10 would visit again.
A good selection of dishes : its basically Asian food catered to the Indian palate. Good service and decent ambiance. Went there twice so far, and found salt and spice levels on the higher side. So if you prefer less of either, you could ask them to tweak the seasoning. Would definitely recommend the Japanese Edmame (fresh Soy beans) stir-fry, the Miso soup and Thai Sticky Rice pudding with mangoes.
The service is very very slow!Quality and quantity has decreased since the last time I visited the place.Very good ambience! But wouldnt really recommend. There are better Asian restaurants in town
Nice ambience and food as well. You will spend quite a bit of peaceful time with yourself if you want to relax for some time.
Lets understand every aspect of this restaurant:1. COVID protocols are slacking with no sanitizers, absence of mask on staff.2. Service is extremely slow and horrible. They will ignore you or starting playing with their mobile or leave the restaurant and go elsewhere. I waited 1 hour for a single main course after 1 starter in an almost empty restaurant3. Portion sizes are painstakingly small. A single serving of Maggi has a bigger portion size than their noodles.4. The menu is extremely cluttered. I was forced to use Zomato to understand whats on the menu.5. The food was so oily that, the U.S. wanted to invade the plate.6. Lack of change. The establishment didnt have any change whatsoever and expected to be paid exact bill amounts.7. The ambience isnt too bad but the crowd was low-scale.8. I couldnt spot a waiter when I needed my cheque. Half of the lot was outside and the other half was hogging food in the kitchen.(Now I know why my food took forever!)9. By the way, I did visit the kitchen briefly and it was quite dirty and trashy. The food deserves a place in the trash can and this place is a testimony on how to NOT run a Pan-Asian Restaurant.
I had heard good reviews so thought will make a visit. The food was very average infact everything tasted just sweet and salty lacking flavour.
We like this place a lot. Amazing asian food. They have food vegerterian options. Pad Thai, Fried Rice, Dumplings, Soups, Soupy Noodles all are excellent. Must try.
Excellent, friendly service. Socially distanced. Access to Smoke the sizzler house as well. Food from both restaurants was very flavourful. Interesting ambience.
The food was great. But I ruined my experience by ordering udon with tofu. Great place though. Would recommend. This place has a nice ambiance
Good ambi
Not at all good... but interiors are very good
Very nice Pan Asian
Great food, beautiful ambience and friendly staff
This is a quite Asian restaurant. The food is very good & the ambience is also nice.
Awesome place with good service but only thing is u gotta wait for food lil longer ... Insted cool and nyc place with good food ❤️😘
Pretty good ambience and service, food aint that great, plate felt incomplete.
This is a hidden gem. Its quiet and quaint. The food and presentation is amazing.
Very good ambience food was just about to be ok
Beautifully decorated place, feels so nice And calm entering here, service was nice
Ambience is amazing. Please change the menu design.
Small but pretty place, tastefully done according to the South Asian theme. Good food..special mention to the chef who put up different cuisines without repeating the flavours. Despite the different varieties of food ordered, service was fast and attentive. Big portions too.. value for money!
A hidden gem on 80 ft road, floors above the other restaurants in the area- location-wise as well as the taste of the food. We are vegetarian and enjoy the papaya salad, spinach mushroom dumplings, lotus root, udon noodles and tofu in black sauce dishes. Service is warm and friendly, and they also reduce the spice for us on request.
Thai curry (green) is a must try. Great hospitality. Great ambience. Great food. Japanese cuisine was so so, rest all was great. Good to with your dates, friends & family.
Overpriced for the quantity and doesnt deliver the taste for what its worth.A good place to eat but dont expect much.Service is terrible
Excellent and delicious Asian cuisine. Service was good and they have maintained the standard of food taste.
Decent food, great ambience and service... Theres a lot of nice things you could say about the decor and the layout. The menu seems like organized chaos; a bit cluttered to the point where you can feel a bit overwhelmed if youre looking for a quick bite to eat. That being said, Im certain its well worth the effort to take the time and explore all that it has to offer. Ask the staff if youre confused or need clarifications about the dishes, theyre quite knowledgeable andmore than happy to help. Will visit again to acquaint myself with more of the menu.
The place is beautifully decorated and designed with good interior and really amazing food to taste. I would suggest that place to anybody, but if you have never tried pan Asian then this should be your first place to visit.
Lovely ambience and good food.
They have to put lot of efforts on basics which is food! The dishes served are not authenticate. The ambience is very good. Staff are not very aware of the ingredients and flavours. Much work to be done else very soon they will have to shut shop
Nice placeBecause of BTS i searched Korean food
Poor quality of foodNot a great place to visit again
A very small and beautiful joint to experience authentic purely vast variety of Asian cuisine. This place serves almost all south asian delicacies. Must try is the Korean pork belly, Jasmine rice with Laotian curry. Will definitely visit soon.
Kenzai is one of the few affordable Asian restaurants in the city. The dimly lit decor complements the small space well. The staff are very courteous. The wide assortment of food and mocktails serve everyones palates. And for those who like spicy food, give the Chili Basil Noodles a try!
The place is simple and neat with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service is good. Food is pkay and is not over priced. They can improve upon the food taste.
The tastes of this restaurant has been changed. They are not keeping up their taste pattern as they were before. The prawns were not fresh. The meat was very hard to eat. And the almost all their dishes served were very sour.. Even though we ordered a spicy one. Very disappointed.. Just waste of money.
Amazing place with very good food and ambience.. The staff are also very friendly and accomadating. Fast service and good quantity. Nice place to visit with both friends as well as family
Nice pan Asian food option in new Bel road. The menu has great variety, many Korean dishes you wont find in other restaurants. Restaurant attendants are friendly and attentive.
Amazing food. Ordered the Thai soup, a few starters and a desert. Every dish was of top quality and taste. Keep it up 👍
I went here with 3 more friends for a lunch outing on a Sunday afternoon. It was fairly occupied. Reservation is recommended. The ambience is fancy and pretty with big colourful lamps. Food items worth trying: Lemon Coriander Soup with Chicken and Egg, The Khowsuey was yummy and one of the best I have ever eaten. Food items to skip: The small plates are not worth the price. Too little of a quantity. The Mocktails were not upto the mark and the Pineapple fried rice felt too bland. The food is either too spicy or too bland. So make sure you tell them your preference beforehand. I have a big problem with the service. They just get super exhausted and slow after a while of enthusiastic serving. Perhaps, the restaurant needs better and more staff. Overall an Okay to Good experience for Asian cuisine.
Cozy place, silent and neat. Excellent South Asian cuisine great taste gg Inger licking delicious. Worth the price. Approx 800/head.
This was my first time here. It was soooo good that Ill visit again!!Kudos to the friendly staff!!
Ambience is lovely. Greenery around. We are vegetarians. We had three starters which were all quite good. Only Lotus root one had too much of batter on it. Hence the real taste was camouflaged. Thai green curry with Jasmine rice was tasty but we had to ask them to reduce the density because the gravy was too thick. Dineout Deal of Japanese sushi with a free mocktail whats denied. But we paid with dineout and used our promo cash. Thus reducing the bill by 20%.
Cosy place..
The ambience is very welcoming. The food is great as well. Just a tad expensive.
Kenzai New Bel road did not have a welcoming staff. Their manager was not to be seen for a while. Their Sushi platter was unavailable, they did not honour their dineout offer and their landline was not working to confirm reservation. Disappointing service.Their food was amazing though. No complaints regarding the food
I would recommend the green curry and the fried vegetable buns. The portion sizes are small. Fewer vegetarian options.
Nice ambience. Good portion sizes and value for money. Team is very warm and friendly.
Struggled with the number of stars I should give this place. Its a cute place with lovely decor and an extensive menu.Food is on the expensive side and definitely not the best Pan Asian food Ive ever eaten; but still good.
Had the Burmese Know Suey. Highly recommend, the dishes are south east Asian. You need to specify the spice level, as its usually low. The staff are friendly and service is pretty quick.
Decent place to have asian food.
Visited this place with my girlfriend for lunch..Really a mind-blowing experience .. Courteous staffs of the restaurant will make sure that no stone is unturned to give u the best dining experience in the city.Special thanks to Chef Abhishek whose eye for detail takes the experience a notch higher. chicken picataMain course: Poblano chicken, barbecue chkn pizza are the must tries...
Ambience and music is good. But thats about it. The staff were hardly helpful and seemed less interested. We tried teriyaki chicken bao, prawn tempura, crispy lotus roots, Pina colada and strawberry basil mocktail- none were good. Food was below average and drinks were very syrupy. We decided to go elsewhere for mains and moved on.
Mouth watering asian flavours.. great service
10 months old...Kenzai is a must go place for pan Asian lovers. Really loved the Hanoi Pho Soup and Teriyaki Chicken Bao (though a bit of spicier side)...Loved the meal n time spent here!!
Very nice place..... Attentive staff and very prompt service.....Food is of very good quality as well!!
