In my life I never had better Chinese food than what I got a china pearl. The restaurant was crowded though waiters were nice. The ambience was good. They served starter which was very good and unique. It was a different experience and food was awesome.And above all the bill was lesser than what we expected. Ill certainly go to China pearl again.

China Pearl is where you can find authentic chinese food. A perfect dine in place to visit with your family/friends. Everything that they served was better than the other. I cant stop myself from giving this place a 5 star.

Will certainly visit again, though its a bit long way from home. Access to the restaurant is convenient as its on the main road. Was lucky to find car parking slot just in front of the main entrance. Visited on a Sunday. The place was crowded and this place had waiting. Since we were 2 people, we could get a table in 20 mins. We ordered Veg spring roll, Shaolin sticks and Schezwan Chengdu noodles. The waiters were swamped and it seemed they placed more emphasis on swiggy orders. We waited around 30 mins just to get food. The place where we were seated was near the kitchen and the door used to get slammed evertime a waiter came out.Food taste was very average but we expected much more from this place, spring roll were too thick and tasteless, Shaolin sticks were also soggy and sweeter than required and noodles were very spicy. Overall, I felt I did not enjoy the experience at all. Would not visit again.

Eating here was an experiment which turned out to be great! Loved the music, ambience and of course the food. No idea about authenticity of the actual Chinese food, but it was pretty authentic. Taste was really good. The soup which I had here was easily the best soup I have ever had. Service was damn good too. Id recommend this place.

A very old restuarant. They are handling Covid safety measures deligently. Food is very standard. Ambience can improve.We ordered clear soup with fancy name, that I cant remember. Starter was good, fried noodles chicken. Then some Schezwan fried rice and American choupsey.

Do try their Fung Chow fish! Its a testament to minimal ingredient and maximal taste. Other dishes too are good and they have a large variety on their menu. Service was average.

This used to be a really really lovely place once upon a time. Now I think the standards have reduced. The last few times I ordered from here also, I was pretty disappointed.Just to see if the quality has indeed reduced and its not me who had some random bad experience, I went out yesterday evening to this place with the husband. We ordered some crab meat soup and mixed claypot rice. Pics also posted.While the food itself was good, there were...hold it...like literally no pieces of crab in tbe soup(I asked my husband if he had got any, which he denied) and so also for the mixed claypot rice I got 3 pieces of non veg in it(1 prawn and 2 chicken) along with the veggies. The husband had only some mushrooms and brocolli in his portion.We pay a premium to eat at these places or order from them. The bare minimum that they could do is not openly cheat customers like this. Dont give the option of serving non veg if you dont intend to! Lastly, this is not a one off piece...I have ordered mixed rice and stuff like this earlier also and while previously China Pearl used to be really great, slowly they have been reducing the portion sizes till they could get away with it.Not ever going there again. Nor ordering either. The 2 star is because of better times much earlier! Either they come back to standards or JUST AVOID! 😏

China Pearl is not a new restaurant its been there for well over Ten years now and let me tell you they have always managed to keep their standards and taste always the same. The crew as well remain. In the middle of the town, but parking can be found nearby. Long waiting can be an issue . You may want to appear early and await a table, you cannot reserve through phone. Food is fantastic. My best friend was back in town after taking the biggest decision of her life..Finally deciding to settle down in life with the love of her life and this called for a special treat. She felt like having Chinese and thus began the search for the best Chinese eatery in town. It also had to be a place where she had never visited before and thus we settled for China Pearl, which was never visited by me either. Few of my colleagues (also long timers in Bangalore) also testified the place and thus, the place was locked for dinner !The place has a very nice ambiance, reminiscent of the signature Chinese restaurants - nice sitting with shades of reds, Chinese artifacts, mandarin scripts and paintings on the walls, dark wooden tables and chairs complementing the setting to the best. The catering staff and the management was very courteous, serving us each time with a smile on their face.The place has an elaborate menu and one is left for choice. But, we had the best person to choose the best from the best. She has never been wrong with orders and thus we knew that we were in safe hands. We started with a Veg Sweet Corn soup, followed by a serving of Veg Steamed Wantons and Hot Bean Crispy Tofu. Everything was so delectably yummy that there was a pin drop silence on the table till we finished everything that was served and mind you, the serving size are really huge. Each of these servings were good enough for three of us and we relished the flavors with lots of love. In main course, we ordered Stir Fried Vegetables, Veg Chilly Garlic Noodles and Burnt Garlic Fried Rice. These were none less than the appetizers and all of us enjoyed the food to the best extent possible. Everything was fabulously mouth-watering and yummy-licious !I have found a place in Bangalore for an awesome Chinese delight and so can you. If you have still not visited China Pearl, do visit it soon. You would love it for sure !!

Good Oriental FoodThe place is old and quite popular with the foodies of Bengaluru since a decade or more. Went there for the first time and was absolutely delighted.Setup is good, with lot of seating on two floors. The atmosphere is bit dark and setup is dated.Service was good, not superfast but okay if you want to enjoy a slow evening.Food of course is the highlight. Everything we ordered was very good, unique and great tasting. The serving size was quite good and thus overall pricing was not really expensive.Absolutely recommended.

Ill start off by saying theyre maintaining good sanitization and health protocols, as they have restarted their operations and are welcoming guests for dine in. There might be wait times on weekends as this place is a crowd favorite. Its one of those Chinese restaurants that screams of old Bangalore charm and really takes you back with its great Hakka Chinese flavours and distinct dishes. The portions are large and usually satisfy 2 people (although that really depends on your appetite). From soups, delicious appetizers to dim sums and other mains, Id recommend China Pearl to anyone craving for a good old chinese food experience.

Recently been to this restaurant and the experience was bad. Had to wait for half an hour for someone to come and take orders and another 30 to 45 minutes for the food whereas those who came after us got served before that. Even for getting the bill, they were taking hell lotta time and so we had to go and ask them literally for the bill. Been to many restaurants, but never waited for this much time anywhere. The food was also not upto the rating they got. We ordered a noodles which has no flavour and was just plane. The Schezwan noodles also was not tasting good. The only dish i liked was momos, the rest were lacking flavours. The ambience was good and the service was bad. Never wanna try this restaurant again. Thats the experience I had.

Dis not have a great experience this time. They only had chicken and prawns on memu. The fish served was stale and it tasted and smelled bad. They did not charge for the same. After we complained.

China Pearl has always been one of my favorite restaurants. However, during the pandemic I had been skeptical about dining out. Staff at China pearl are following very stringent safety measures. They have sealed table tops with plastic and sanitize it after every sitting. They are providing barcode access to the menu and are no longer serving the food to plate. The taste continues to be excellent! I am impressed by their quality of service and safety measures. Wholeheartedly recommended this wonderful dining experience to everyone.

Food quality and ambience is fantastic!

In spite of all the good reviews, we were disappointed with our first experience at China Pearl (Koramangala Branch). Though the quantity was good, the food was of poor quality and our waiter was more interested in showing attitude than doing his job of taking the correct order. They were recommending the same items to nearby customers as well, and ignoring what we were asking for. They brought the wrong order and when we wanted to pass on the feedback to the manager, he was more focused on whether we would pay than hearing us out. He wasnt even interested in knowing who the rude waiter was.Overall a terrible experience and needless to say will not be going back.

China Pearl is the only (Indo)Chinese restaurant my family and I like in Koramangala. The taste and quality of the food has been consistent all these years (we have been going since a long time!) and the place has a very homely feel to it. Vegetarians have quite a good choice, and the standout appetizer here are the Crispy Shaolin Sticks! The Gobi Manchurian is also fantastic, as is the Chili Potato with gravy. Prices are also reasonable and the service is good once seated. It can be a bit difficult when the place is full.Often reservations arent taken and its first come first serve. Parking is also an issue as it is street parking. But do visit for a memorable meal and a truly Bangalorean experience.

Taste was just average, wasnt special. But giving 4 stars due to sheer quantity.The noodles will easily fill 2 hungry people. Also the chicken content in the hunan starter was huge.So kudos to quantity.

China Pearl is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Koramangala and is amongst the better Chinese restaurants in Bangalore.The food is excellent, service is friendly and prompt, and it has a nice Chinese themed decor.Portion sizes are large and more than enough for 2 and sometimes 3.Starters, mains and deserts are excellent with plenty of choices. My favourites are Spring Rolls, Lat Kay Fa, Chinese Chowmein and Natsu Kay.The place is perennially packed and reservations are not taken especially on weekends so expect a 20-30min wait to get a table.Car parking is a bit of a problem but there is now a valet available. I would recommend using the valet instead of trying to park in one of the side roads.

China Pearl was the first Chinese restaurant in Bangalore where I had dinner eleven years back. But that time I was not much regular on zomato so didnt write any review. This time went there after eleven years and very pleasantly surprised that they are still holding the same standard. The food quality is good and taste is authentic. China Pearl always reminds me of old and classic Chinese restaurants in Kolkata like Waldorf or Trincas. It has that vintage quality and old world charm. Which is not lost with the latest upgrade and showoffs.Their portion size is huge. So order judiciously. This place is great for team outing and big groups. All the food items are very nice. Special mention goes to the gravy chowmein. Its just amazing. Service is also good.My recommendation goes with them.

Amazing amazing place. We just discovered this place recently and the Chinese food is amazing. The chicken dishes, the noodles, the chopsuey all worth a try. When we went it was crowded and we had to wait for half an hour before getting a table but it was all worth it. Would recommend you to reach this place earlier (around 8-8:30) so to avoid waiting. Definitely recommend this place

Priced according to ambience.Tried spicy crab soup: it was bland and could not feel the crab meat added. I would not try that again.Overall satisfied as the place exceeded my expectations.

It did not take them a long time to serve our food.The soup was a nice blend of spicy, tangy and sour taste. The food was yummy. However, the quantity is adequate for 2 persons. We were just two of us , so we did not have a problem. They have a nice balance of veg and non veg options to serve. The food quantity is sufficient for three adults.I loved each and every item . Each dish was delectable and perfectly cooked. The cost is just 1200/- which is good for two people. I ordered a veg clear soup and veg fried wonton from here on 4th May 2021, 10:00 p.m. via Swiggy. The wonton had a dead cockroach in it. It is a basic hygiene you expect a restaurant to have- not to have insects in the food you eat. How unhygienic should the kitchen be if there is a cockroach even in the food that they make? Threw away all of it and will never order from here again. Absolutely disgusted.

Excellent yummy food, super fast service. First and best red dragon chicken ever

The service is extremely slow. The AC was not working. Even after requesting for a change in seat The restaurant staff didnt take the request to change.The food wasnt good either. We waited for 40 mins for the starters to come on a Sunday lunch.My overall experience was very poor and would not recommend this place primarily because of the unfriendly attitude of the staff.

Nothings changed in over a decade. The serve the best food both quality and quantity wise.
