We came here on a weekday for lunch and the restaurant was nearly empty. We ordered the lunch buffet and were served at our table. The soup and nonveg starters were excellent and among the best Ive had ever. The meat was all freshly prepared and served hot at our table. We thoroughly enjoyed the starters. Unfortunately the main course as well as desserts left us disappointed. The taste was average at best. Overall I give the restaurant a 4 star rating for the excellent starters, the service was quick and efficient and staff were all polite and even helped my elderly grandmother climb the stairs. I would love to visit again.

If at all, I wanted to dine a specific cuisine, would prefer speciality restaurant.. and, particular what I exactly wanted to eat.. China Bistro is one among in recent times and I had been here when they did launch.. China Bistro offers authentic dishes of cuisine along with few neighbourhood dishes like Japanese, Malaysian and few more.. The place has indeed great decor with elements related to region and ambiance is soothing, which everyone loves it.. Coming to the food, we have had ample starters and limited main course dishes.. Lunch started with Sushi, Crispy Spicy Avocado Roll.. Sushi is an art and chef did it well.. Avocado rolled in Sushi topped with tempura.. Very well balanced dish and one should have taste to like it.. Next I tried was San Choy Bao filled with Mushrooms and Tofu.. Stuffing was succulent and recommended.. Vegetable Dumplings were exceptionally good and texture talks everything.. Lotus stems were hard and conveyed the feedback. Probably, my bad day.. In main course, I have opted for Mapo Tofu with Mushroom to go with Vegetable fried Rice and Pad Thai Noodles.. The main course dishes were perfect, the way I like.. They insisted to try the dessert “Buddha Fu” and it was too good.. Highly Recommended! Service was good and highly recommended place..They started Buffet and quality is as good as ala carte..

Reminds you of the good old Thailand, not for any reason other than the variety of dishes available and the ambience. Though the taste could be better in some dishes but the some shone. Buffet had a lot of options to relish. We enjoyed prawns, crabs, lobsters, fish and chicken all in one ensemble. Prawn Sushi was a little sweet in taste. The desserts were worth every bite. Try out the place. Buffet is a must try..P.s. another must try is the Tom yum soup..

China Bistro specializes in Pan Asian Cuisine located in Indiranagar. The packaging was prettygreat. I was really happy to see the eco-friendly and nicely sealed packaging. The portion sizeswere really good.I ordered a couple of Chinese appetizers - South Asian Chilli Cottage Cheese, Crispy Potatowith lime and chillies, Mushroom Salt and Pepper. Potato one was one of the best potatostarters I ever had. The slices were thin and perfectly crispy. Mushroom was deep fried and hada pretty nice taste. Chilli Cottage Cheese was pretty soft and had a nice blend of flavors. All theappetizers tasted amazing. Then I had some sushi rolls and dimsums. I had vegetable basil flavored dumplings. They werequite juicy and I really loved the different sauces (especially the black pepper and fragrant chillione) which enhanced the taste of dimsums. The sushi rolls were also pretty good and werepleasing to the eyes as well.In the Main Course, I had Nasi Goreng Rice. It was served with some skewers and fryums. Then I had some Hakka noodles with Map Tofu Mushroom Curry. This combination tasted good. But my fav in main course was Khao Suey which is a Burmese speciality. The curry was servedwith soft noodles and crispy noodles along with a variety of condiments. The dish tastedheavenly and was very rich in flavors. The portion sizes were really huge for all these maincourse items.Overall, it was a great Pan Asian Cuisine Meal.

I had visited this place pre Covid for a lunch and it was a wonderful experience. When I was highly craving to have a good pan asian meal, this place came to my mind. Order a huge spread of pan Asian food for me and my friends. All the dishes are perfectly packed in spill proof containers. My favourite starters are south asian chilli chicken and ginger chicken jiaozi. Chicken Sui mei also tasted quite flavoursome and cooked to perfection. They serve some really good sushis and my favourite is salmon sushi roll and tuna nigiri.Prawns Thai red curry with jasmine is an incredibly delicious combination and a feast to my taste buds. Overall I was quite satisfied with the portion size and taste of the dishes.

Lovely Buffet,The Appetizers were Authentic and So Good, The Flavours were rich and yet subtle.Id recommend the Dim-sums as well as the panner ball in appetizer. In the main course we there were various varities for both Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian.From the experience of a Vegetarian, the Thai Curry as well as the Noodles were my favourite, others lacked a little, but it was still very worth it.The Desserts had a plethora of options, flan and Honey chip with Ice cream my favourite. The service was great very welcoming.A must go if you like Asian Food!

Pros :- Dimsums and the green leaf dip they gave was nice.- They have both buffet and a la carte.- presentation of desserts is nice- they give a small bowl of complimentary pickle which was yum.Cons :- Bad service. They dont even give you time to choose or click pictures of food. They just bring all food together and put half of them on your plate and vanish.Later no one attends even when you wave at them or call them. They all gather up in one corner facing back to us. They kinda forced us to finish food soon and pay bill before we finished eating. They Levy 10% service charge. When we said we arent happy with the service and wont pay the service tax , the grumpy steward snatch the bill from our hand and walked away. And then cancelled the amount and brought the bill back with again an irritated face.- food is okay. Need to improve on taste and presentation of starters and main course- taste of desserts was just okay.- they have beautiful statues outside , all of which are covered by their own ad hoardings. Bigger statues are chained on neck making it look like prisoners statues .

In main course they have such great delicious 😋 variety. Thai fish curry, Singaporean chicken and etc. In ice cream they have 3 variety, In sweets they have almost 10 varieties. China BistroFrom the walk itself you know you will have a fulfilling experience and that’s what happen to us with China Bistro. I had kept this place on hold for a long time, and I regret it now. But as they say better late than never. The ambiance is serene and music is great. When my friends and I visited, they had the Asian Street Food festival running. When asked Prabhat who attended on us he had some amazing recommendations which were mind boggling. Also kudos to his hospitality and friendly demeanor. You are obviously reading this to find out about food, so here we go, most of the dishes I tried reminded me of my experiences in Malaysia and Thailand. I love the pan asian cuisines, especially coconut based curries - the sri-lankan three flavour fish curry was mouth watering, and so was the Indonesian West Sumatran Lamb curry (tender juicy lamb). Being a Thai food lover I enjoyed Khao Pad the most compared to the Volcano chicken fried rice and Kwetiau pad keep Mao (although both tasted great too.The star of the show were, Fire roasted Mandarin chicken, Raw Mango Crab salad, Ikan Pepe’s (Every time I visit this place I am definitely going to have all three or atleast either of these as a must). Lemme start with Fire roasted Mandarin chicken, soft yet crispy chicken with smoky flavour to die for. I just couldn’t stop with one. I am not a fish person, fussy about smell and thorns but Ikan Pepe’s is undoubtably the most flavour full fish I have ever eaten, it was as if I was eating soft chicken meat not fish. And lastly a confession I had never eaten crab before (if u notice I am not a big fan of seafood) I went all in with Raw Mango Crab salad, the crab had such a tender shell that we were asked to just chew it all and boy o boy I absolutely loved it.I was on a sugar diet, but looking at out next table order ‘Buddhas Fu ‘we wanted to order too, it was definitely a unique way of presenting a dessert. Give it a try and you shall know what I was talking about. Finally, I don’t consume alcohol so I tried Sangria with a twist, it was Sangria Basil Iced tea, and I definitely enjoyed the drink as much as people do drinking Sangria (wine) ofcourse without any tipsy feeling. Also try the Mandarin Basil Cappiroska and Mango Basil Melody too.I would easily visit this place again and definitely recommend this place to everyone. Some of my Recommendations are -Starters and Salads -Fire roasted Mandarin chickenRaw mango crab saladSoto maduraPo pia pad ThaiIkan PepesFried sliced chicken breastsMain Course -West Sumatran lamb curryThree flavour fishKwetiau pad keep MaoVolcano chicken fried riceKhao padDesserts -Buddhas FuMock-tails -Sangria Basil iced teaMandarin Basil CappiroskaMango Basil Melody

I visited this place on a Tuesday evening with few of my friends for dinner. For starters, we tried the Fujian crispy veg spring rolls which were filled with mushrooms and veggies, Moo shu vegetables which was a healthy yet tasty dish to have, Hangzhou Beggars Chicken wrapped in lotus leaves was one of their best items along with the Ming ling spicy bbq fish, fresh and delicious.Heading to the main course, we had multiple dishes and the Vegetable in SriLankan curry was the most unique and delightful one. The Vegetable Thai green curry which was served with rice and pumpkin crackers was one of the best Thai curries have had in recent time. Kung pao fish pot meal was made with five spices which added a great flavour to it.Ending our dinner with desserts, we had the scrumptious moon cake and the well-known Buddhas fu.

Went there for the Dimsum and Bao bun festival so this review is completely based on that. To get started, service was satisfying and food was great. Tried the drinks which were fab 👌🏼 I enjoyed the dimsums even without the sauces as they were rich and easily digestible. However, there was this really well coloured Prawn dimsum that I expected a lot from. I did not feel the prawn at all (personal choice) and preferred the Edamame Truffle (veg) over the prawn. Now getting to The Bao, I found the duck Bao which had this outer coating kinda sticking to my teeth which I wasn’t impressed about. But apart from that, the curry fried chicken Bao and the Tom Yum Bao were fabulous. Loved it! Also, all the Bao’s were LOADED. This was really cool.Dessert had to be there and if it’s impressive with the looks, u would definitely want to dive in. We had the Buddha Pu which was fancy. I have the video as a highlight on my insta page.

Asian Street food!China Bistro has been a renowned name with fine dining since it started. This holiday season they have come out with the Asian Street food festival and I really relished the authentic flavours of the Far East.Started with soup Soto Madura. This was a delight with soto paste and coconut milk flavours. The Raw mango Crab salad was a first for me. This was my first time enjoying the chewable crab, that too a good size. For all those who dreaded eating crab this is your salvation! Again the Thai taste was authentic. The highlight of the place was that it had happy hours running for the whole day. A fun way to usher in the holidays. Next we had the Ikan Pepe, the fish cooked in the banana leaf. The fish was cooked perfectly. The Volcano fried rice and the Sumatran Lamb curry was a great way to end this sumptuous night. The chilli basil flavour in the Fried rice is quite unique. The Sumatran Lamb was delicious. While they dont have special dessert for the festival, had to get the signature Buddha s Fu.

Now lets start with the most amazing welcome drink they serve to their customers. It is presented in small bowl and is totally fun to have. After that the starters were served. They have wide range of veg n nonveg items for everyone. Dice chicken for nonveg n crispy tofu chill dip for veg foodies. Being a pure veg i totally enjoyed all the veg items. Coming to drinks, Apricot orange blossom was something i will remember for a long time. Sangria basil ice tea was also nice. Coming to sushi they were the most delicious items. Both veg california n nonveg california had an amazing flavour of taste. Then we were served dimsums, chicken dumpling were good as told by the other foodie. Then came the korean BBQ chicken, another item not to be missed by nonveg food lovers. To bring an end to our lovely evening, the final item came which was just out of the box man. It was basically mango pudding with chocolate mousse, chocolate chips and caramel sauce.Steamed coconut dumpling - Not for everyone. But I loved it.#DrinksCoconut litchee mocker - Great mocktail. Had the perfect blend of coconut and litchee flavours.Mandarin basil caipiroska - Good.Overall a great Chinese restaurant. The dessert made sure the night ended perfectly.

We went for a family dinner (3 people - I, Wife and my sister in law). The location is easily accessible and the fiberglass replicas of terra cotta soldiers make it very recognizable. While the restaurant was quite big, I was unimpressed by the interiors and ambience - things seemed weirdly out of place, a center section dedicated for drinks and sushi preparation which was surrounded by awkward seating arrangements. The overall lighting and ambience was poor. It just felt off...Considering the name, I was a but surprised that the menu was Pan Asian instead of just focussing on Chinese cuisine, but it was fine - more options for us.The food did not disappoint one bit. We were treated to a free fancy starter which was high on theatrics and tasted great as well. We went on to order Salmon Sashimi and Singapore Chilli Prawn. Sashimi was prepared well, though I would have liked a thinner cut.On to the main course and we ordered a Green Thai Curry and Hunan Chicken with Shittake mushroom both served with rice. Both were also extremely well made with generous portion size. No regrets till now. After finishing, we moved to desserts and ordered Buddha Fu and Chocolate Rolls with ice cream. The former item turned out to be a great choice with an excellent mango pudding as base, vanilla ice cream on top surrounded by choco chip and cocoa powder. It also had an element of theatricality involved which was novel with desserts. The staff was wonderful and receptive to our needs. Everyone was constantly on their toes to make us comfortable and even accommodated couple of move requests by us because we were looking for seating with sofa so that our infant can be a bit more comfortable.Overall one of the most rounded dinners we have had in a long time. But one might ask why a 3 star rating? Thats because when we were presented with the final bill, we realized the actual cost of the meal.Even though we were three people, we ordered more like two people since my wife and sister in law are not heavy eaters - 2 non alcoholic drinks, 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts. For a similar meal elsewhere in Indiranagar, we have paid around Rs 2,000 many times. Our final bill at China Bistro stood at Rs 4,000. The Singapore Chilly Prawn itself was Rs 600, but what stung the most was decoupling of rice from the mains (Thai curry and Hunan chicken) which added more than Rs 600 to the bill - meaning we were billed for rice separately. So effectively, I paid Rs 800 + Tax + Service Charge for a bowl of Thai curry with rice . This underhanded move left a severely bitter after taste. We quietly paid our bill and left. All the way back to home, we discussed how we got ripped off. Let me reiterate - Nothing against the staff here but directed more towards the owners who decided to implement this Smart-Assery... I would not want to visit even for office dinners and lunches (which I mostly organize for my unit) where the tab is picked by someone else - it would feel stealing from my company.Just for perspective, I paid Rs 4400 for a fabulous dinner buffet at JW Marriott for my anniversary.

Always a glutton for pan Asian cuisine, then came across this restaurant China Bistro which is located in the hustle bustle Street of Indiranagar..Went here for dinner and I was mesmerized by the two huge Chinese soldier effigy at the entrance.A good fine dining restaurant with two floors and a bar counter in the ground floor and very well placed seatings and spacious enough. How can you miss out soup when you are in a Chinese restaurant.Started off with a eight treasure chicken soup : Not over spiced well balanced with chunks of chicken and veggies with boiled sweet corns.Chicken basil dumplings : This was legit, A must try here.Minced chicken blended with basil and ginger- garlic paste. The garlic flavour was predominant and tasted too good.Buddhas fu : A very fab presentation of dessert depicting Chinese tradition.A mango Panna cotta with caramelized toffee and coco powder.Must visit if you love pan Asian cuisine.

China Bistro-a fine restaurant located on the bustling roads of Indiranagar. Also they have expanded by adding a place called China Lounge on the first floor too. This place serves Pan Asian Cuisine and can accommodate around 70-80 pax at full capacity.A centrally located well stocked bar with a equally talented bartender whips up some good cocktails to match the mood of the evening. The Service is amazingly fast and the servers here are well trained and motivated. Are ready to go to the extra mile in keeping the patrons happy. The Chef here is a asset and takes pride in serving some of the best dishes in the class here. Very passionate and Professional about his job.The Cocktails-1.Pomme Cup-Great on presentation prepared with white spirit, pomegranate juice and fresh pomegranate seeds.2.Zesty Orange Mojito- bit tangy on taste,White Spirit loaded with Ice and presented with a slice of Orange in a tall glass. The Soup-1.Tangy Coconut Chicken Soul-Perhaps one of the best have tried of late. Rich Coconut milk with shredded chicken. Too filling and absolutely tasty.Must try.The Starters-1.Ginger Chicken JiaoziFire Roasted Mandrun Chicken - this dish speaks volumes about the chefs passion in delivering a dish so right. Tender Chicken that just melts in your mouth with the spices bursting on your tastebuds taking you to a All new different level of taste. Wow😋Main Course1.Mix Meat Fried Rice- a perfect combination of different meats in the old fashioned fried rice.... simple yet nice2.Fish Chilli Basil Sauce- BASA fish cooked to perfection with the right spices and sauce. Absolutely perfect and supplements well with the fried rice.Dessert1.Buddha Fu- Flavour of the season- the Mango. Chilled Mango pudding served with Mango PureeA evening for 2 would cost around Rs 2000/- to Rs 2500/- with a couple of beers/Cocktails. Both Cash and Cards accepted.Levy a Service charge of 10%.Reservations mandatoryRestrooms well maintainedAlcohol availableParking limited to 4 cars and 2 wheeler parking at basement. As of me would definitely go back for their efficient Service, great food and amazing Cocktails on any given day

Pretty good food. The service was really personal and timely. The drinks are affordable and delicious. We tried the sushi and the fire grilled chicken. Both were amazing. I was disappointed with the plating of the desert called Buddhas fu. It seems to be making a mockery of buddha worship. While it is named deceptively, it is nothing but mango custard. For that, I give them 4 stars.

Had been here for dinner and they were having the Asian food festival menu.I love the ambience, the fact that they have an island mini work station for their sushi and drinks in the middle of the restaurant is kind of cool. The manager and the staff are very kind and attentive, service was very quick.Coming to the food, I so love the dimsums, be it chicken or veggies and it is a must try here. The sushi are so good and delicious and very delicately beautiful with the presentation, the cumin bbq fish was so tender and the crispy tofu with chili dip was scrumptious. The fried rice and chicken gravy is excellent. The mock tail are good and I like the mandarin basil caprioska. The Buddha’s Fu mango pudding was amazing. While writing this review, all I’m thinking is their dimsums and I can’t wait to go back and have more!

N love with some authentic Chinese? If so, Bistro China surprises you with impeccable quality of food. It is one of the finest restaurants in Indiranagar to indulge in Pan Asian Cuisines. They are mainly specialized in Japanese, Malaysian, Indonesian, Thai and Korean as well. The first glimpse of the restaurant itself is enchanting. One will have a feeling of entering into a forbidden land when you reach at their entrance with 2 gargantuan samurai statue flanking at their doorsteps.►Menu:The Menu mainly emphasizes on a wide variety of dishes which are drawn out from cuisines like Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian and Thai, etc. The Menu card features handpicked dishes from various cuisines and are categorized under their respective categories. They have got a separate menu card exclusively for Sushis and Beverages. The Sushi menu is again subdivided into Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Sections and features a good number of items under each section.►My Culinary Delight:We started off with the soup Eight Treasure chicken soup. The taste was good and soup contained a hybrid of corn and miniature number of chicken pieces. From the starters section we chose (1) Fire roasted Mandarin Chicken - One of the best starters, we had from there. There were 5 chicken strips which were clung to a toothpick and were placed on the top of a hollow steel box. It was embellished with pieces of spring onions.(2) Pan Fried Chilli Fish -The fish used is Basa and was embellished with coriander leaves and green chili pieces.(3) Chicken Basil Dumpling - Chicken momos were really nice and the filings inside had an ample number of minced succulent chicken pieces in it. The presentation of the dish was amazing it looked green in color with the addition of basil leaves. It was garnished with basil seeds on top of it.(4) Prawn Tempura Roll - It was sushi with a prawn piece mounted on the top as a holder It was served on a wooden boat-shaped tray and it contained 6-7 pieces of sushi with one piece of prawn on the top as its holder.(5) Sanchoy Bao - The only veg starter which we ordered from the list. Bao is something unique which I havent tried before and I liked it very much. The dumpling contained a collection of small paneer pieces as its fillings and the taste was awesome(6) Ginger Capsicum Fried Rice - One of the main course dishes we had. The taste was good like the normal fried rice. The quantity was ample for 2 people. The rice was embellished with pieces of red, yellow and green capsicum.(7)Mee Goreng Noodles - . The noodles were garnished with carrots, coriander leaves, and green chillis and it looked brownish in color. The taste was slightly hot.(8) Fish in black pepper sauce - . The quantity of the dish was decent and it contained 5-6 pieces of succulent minced fish pieces along with few pieces of green capsicum.(9) Thoi Chicken - Thoi chicken is just similar to Fish in black pepper sauce in terms of its gravy but in lieu of fish pieces, it contains a heap of miniature pieces of chicken. The taste was really good just like a similar Chinese main course dish and the quantity was ample for 2 people.(10) Ambush bosch - Its their signature dish and they will give it as a welcome dish for everyone who visits their restaurant. It was complimentary for us. This dish is considered a welcome shot. Its an amalgamation of yogurt cream mixed with a slight amount of coriander powder, and algrain○Beverages:We chose few mocktails from their list of mocktails(1) Blue Heart - It was an aerated drink which is prepared using blue curacao syrup. It looked blue in color and the taste was good(2) Chinse Cooler -(3) Coconut Lychee Mocker(4) Apricot Orange Blossom○Desserts(1) Budha Fu - Budha Fu is their signature dish in the desserts section. I was really impressed to see the presentation of the dish. Its a mango pudding which is served along with toffee sauce and chocolate powder. The toffee is enclosed inside a sea shell and the chocolate powder is kept under a bell.

I have been to China bistro in Mumbai and I was keen on visiting the one in Bangalore. I used Zomatos Google maps to track the location but China Bistro wasnt marked on the map. Followed the location and reached the right spot. Bike parking is available. Limited parking for 4 wheelers.Entrance has 2 huge statues welcoming you to their Bistro. The interiors are neat and clean. The open bar is at the centre and the kitchen at the very end with a glass wall. You can watch them cook. The staff is friendly and ready to assist. Some find it difficult to pronounce the names correctly but thats ok.As complementary, they serve two shots of molecular white balls in soup spoons. It didnt go well with my pallette. Try at your own risk. Its not bad its just different. They also serve complementary salad which I didnt like too.Recommended: 👍Not worth:👎Good portion:👌Mocktails:Sangria Ice tea: This tea has a strong flavour of Apple and miniature Apple cuts were added to it. It was a refreshing drink though I didnt find it to be an ice tea. 👍Mango Basil Melody: Another refreshing drink. You can however request them to add less of ice to enjoy it. 👍I ordered the last drink on recommendation but I cant recall the name. It was sweet and pink in color. You can try their mocktails, it is actually good.Starters:Chicken BBQ pockets and Open Bao:The Bao pockets were good but at the very end bite you are left with no filling. For open Bao, they use the same pocket which makes the Bao bun slightly thicker.Bao buns were soft and rightly made. I have eaten the better version of Bao buns.Crispy spicy avocado sushi:I liked their sushi. They made it the right way and it wasnt falling apart. The dip was overpowering though. 👍Tempura prawn sushi:If you are sushi lover, you should definitely try the ones available here. Same comment about the dip.👍Pak Choi and vegetable dumplings:All the vegetarians who love green leafy veggies do try this dumpling. I being a non vegetarian loved it. But its a little pricey for the portion. It takes an effort to make this perfectly.Dynamite Prawns:Prawns are served in a cocktail glass. The portion size of the prawns is well deserved for their pricing. The prawns tasted fresh but sauce wasnt great. The word Dynamite makes it sound spicy but it didnt live upto its expectation.South Asian Chilli Cottage cheese (Paneer):The cottage cheese was soft and the sauce was complementing the cottage cheese. 👍Chicken with thousand chilli and Sichuan pepper: Not as spicy as it sounds. They just add a several pieces of dried red chilli with a hint of honey. I felt the taste of it, I maybe wrong. 👍Fire roasted Mandarin Chicken:Best to be eaten hot. The chicken is crunchy and becomes chewy if not eaten hot. The portion size is good and can be shared by 5. They serve the chicken in 5 mini skewers. 👌I was too full or bloated after eating these many dishes so I skipped my dinner and dessert.Overall ExperienceQuality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Portion size: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Value for money: ⭐⭐⭐Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Presentation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Its a casual dining restaurant so the pricing would be such however order dishes that suit your pallette and avoid ordering too many chicken dishes...it makes you full.China Bistro has a buffet option, I guess you can try that to get a feel of the food. The pricing is decent. They also have 1+1 and 2+1 on drinks.

China Bistro is a modern Asian Restaurant situated on the most happening cross road of Indiranagar, thats the 12th main. This two storey duplex restaurant has some of the best interiors and lighting possible in a Chinese restaurant, while most other restaurants are dull and low lit, this place is bright and very well lit with different type of lightning decorating the walls and ceiling. The entrance to this place is over whelming with huge Chinese soldier statues placed at the entrance gate.Overall I would like to say it is very prettily done for the interiors.Coming to the food, started with the right treasure veg soup, which was perfectly seasoned and flavoured, it was loaded with veggies and the consistency was perfect, not to thick, not to light. The starters were brilliant, as I mentioned earlier, this place is an Asian restaurant, serving sushi rolls as well, the crispy spicy avocado roll with wasabi is a must try, Packchoy veg dumpling and chicken basil dumplings are out of this world, I would say these are one of the better dumplings in the city, we also tried the Sanchoy veg bao, which was soft and moist filled with tangy, not to spicy filling.Has the wheat noodles and Mee Go Rang ginger fried rice, which was made really good in an authentic Chinese style served along with Veg Basil Sauce. The highlight of this place is their mocktails, some of the very odd combinations but adding a Chinese twist to it made them brilliant, tried the Basil Sangria Ice Tea, this was too good and is must try, Orange Basil Caprioska was another must try mocktail. Presentation wise China Bistro nailed it, from serving sushi rolls in a shop shapee hold to serving dessert in a bell.Tried their best desserts, the Buddhas Fu and Coconut Honey Dumplings, the Buddhas Fu roughly translating to Buddhas Grace or Blessing was a a bliss in the mouth, Mango Pudding served with dry chocolate and caramel sauce was graceful. On the other hand Coconut Honey Dumplings was a let down compared to the Buddhas Fu.Overall I would also like to mention that the staff here is very responsive and courteous.Price-4/5Quality-5/5Quantity-5/5Taste-4.5/5Presentation-5/5Ambience-4.5/5Worth it ? - Yes, this place is worth it, one of the very few places serving a majority portion of Asian cuicine in the city.Whether I would visit them again ? - Yes, I will, the Dumplings, Desserts and the Mocktails are a must try.

China Bistro is relatively a new place serving Pan Asian Cuisine. The place is located on the busy 12th main where Glocal used to be there. The place is built in 2 floors with varied seating options. They have a bar built on the ground floor. The lighting is bit dim to give it a soothing ambience. We started with Eight Treasure Veg Soup which was really soothing in that cold rainy night. Pakchoy Dumpling was good, but Sanchoy Bao can be improved in terms of thickness of the Bao, otherwise taste was really good. Crispy Spicy Avocado Roll were out of the world good, so crispy and what a balanced flavor it had.For mains, I had Veggies in Chilli Basil Sauce with Ginger Capsicum Fried Rice, and the combination was really good. Nasi Goreng was decent. For Dessert, we had Buddhas Phu which was basically Mango Pudding with Chocolate chipd and caramelized sauce served in a very unique way. And the dessert was an experience in itself. In Mocktails I tried Sangria Basil Ice Tea which was a decent pick. The service at the place is good, dishes came in no time to the table. The staff take the feedback in a good spirit and try to strive better. The place is medium expensive on the pocket. All in all, a good place for an Asian affair.

Review by our Team GhatotkatchaChina Bistro!! First of all the hospitality here is astounding.. Big statues to welcome you and the smaller ones to remind us stay grounded. The friendly staff would first get an Ambrush Bouche, very well made with coriander and ginger sorbet. Then came a Tomkha Soup, with small peices of Brocolli, mushrooms in a coconut soup. The manchow soup here is authentic and a must try!! The appetizers consisted of Mandarin Chilli Chicken which has a smoked effect of Mandarin sauce, an Indian tongue would love the flavourful spice and the juicy chicken. Prawn Tempora roll is a sushi which was presented in a boat. Mushroom ginger chilli is a wok tossed amazing delicacy. There is no need for a special mention about the awesomeness of Ginger Chicken Jioji, packhoy veg dumpling. The Baos here need a big shout for the perfection! The pocket chicken Bao had a fantastic presentation and amazing flavour.Coming to the Main Course, Nasi Goereng can be described in one word and that is beautiful 🤘Thai Curry is flavourful and aromatic as always served with Jasmine rice. The signature dessert Buddhas Pho is an authentic Chinese one with sourness included and the jaggery syrup balances it very well. Its highly recommended here, depending on the persons pallet. The Buffet costed ₹399 for such amazing food on weekdays and would cost a bit more on weekends. Mr. Balaram took good care of us and the waiters are friendly.Had a fantastic time here.Bon Appetit,Ghatotkatcha

Was glad that I attended the Dim Sum and Bao Bun festival thats taking place in all their outlets.Basically, you have about 4 of each variants in both veg & non-veg and it was such a treat!Since Im a Vegetarian, I didnt expect much. But I was shocked to have had them as each of them had such a difference right from their tasting to the fillings.Starting of with my basics :PARKING : Dont worry, you have valet parking!AMBIANCE : They have 2 floors in total, a live counter and a bar counter as you enter. Since we went on a weekday, we were shocked it was still jam-packed.You might not find this menu in the Zomato section, so,DIM SUMS :- Spicy Soya Basil Dimsum- Edamame Truffle ( My personal favorite )- Mixed Vegetable DumplingBAOS :- Sriracha Tofu Bao- Sambal Fungi BaoThe baos were perfect and the filling inside was a shocker! Good amount and stomach filling.TIP : Eat it while its hot.Ill include the menu as a picture, so you can have a better look at it!Had to have Buddhas Fu, which is a dessert made of Panacotta and one of their signature dishes. Loved the drama behind the presentation and was definitely a treat to end the meal this way!
