If you have money to spend and time to spare... Dont go here. Just dont.We were dropping someone off at the airport and I decided to treat my dad to Taj for lunch. We walked in to Cafe 77 and it was deserted ( should have been our first clue ). Ordered fish & chips and chicken steak ( two dishes you can possibly never go wrong with) . We ended up eating the potato chips with ketchup for lunch. The chicken was do tough I had to wrestle with it...the fish stank ! The sous chef came to apologise and basically offered platitudes. They admitted food was terrible and then handed us the bill after deducting one dish. Which we paid.We burped and handled a gurgling tummy all day long because of the couple of bites we ate of the horrid food.If you are desperate and have to go here stick to dal and fresh rotis which they would have to cook afresh.And then all the best !

3 of us went on a drive to airport and decided to go this restaurant on Sunday 11th July 21. We went around 4.30 pm . We went to the lounge Cafe and waited and no one turned up and was wondering whats happening. Later on went to the check in counter to be told that lounge service is closed. We were told Cafe 77 east is the one offers coffee.As we entered there were no one and there were many staff and it tool more than 10 minutes fir us to be seated and the tables after the lunch was not cleaned. We were given table and a person came and kept water glass and he was not wearing gloves and next person came and kept cutlery he dropped the cutlery and not wearing gloves and he had some injury on back of the palm. We kept waiting and the staff which were there before all disappeared and we waited for more than 15 minutes and we thought we should leave. One person appeared and Apologized for the delay and we ordered one capucino, 2 orange juice and one frito ( zucchini, baby corn, potato, onion rings and cauliflower soaked in cornflower and deep fried) the order came as said in 15 minutes. The coffee was awesome but was not hot and the frito was tasty but soaking in the oil. I told the manager that coffee was cold , but I enjoying it after a long drive ( 50 kms from my home and the banaglore traffic despite being a Sunday and pandemic the road was full) . He brought another coffee piping hot I told him I cant justify 2 coffee and take it back , but he ( Stefan) was kind and good asked me to take .it was again a coffee with right blend and aroma I loved it though I could not justify it in full. I asked for the cheque and they didnt bill me the coffee and I insisted for the same and then I left itAny how the rating for attention and quality of food is 5 but waiting for to be seated and waiting for peopel to take the order and not wearing gloves and way the cutlery and glass is kept is 1 and hence the rating of 2

Such a bliss! One of the best buffets I have ever had!The dessert section completely stole my heart and belly!What do I name! It had it all!To add on to it, we also had a magician to entertain! Was super impressed!The meal was one complete meal. The buffet spread is good! Be it main course or the sides, starters or desserts.Must try!

Lovely setting for breakfast. Fantastic service - even got someone playing the flute as background music. Love the high ceiling too. Food was yummy although spread was not that huge of variety.

We had a family event and it was well planned . The food was yummy and ambience was exemplary and luxurious. The hospitality is worth appreciation. Keep it up!

First of all, its not a cafe, it serves all kinds of food including South Indian and North Indian dishes. The food we offered arrived very late. The bread was completely stale, the pasta had no veggies and the soda was flat. Too underwhelming for a 5 stars cafe.

Had a dinner it was yummy. Specially deserts. Must try.Mr. Tarun from cafe 77 has made it more special by providing the best hospitality.

You wont be disappointed with the service at Cafe 77 East.

Poor service and average food. Ordered tea and it took forever to get one cup of tea. This was in afternoon time and hardly any people in the hotel. This restaurant is not reflected the Taj hotels service standards.

I have been there for brunch on Sunday it has some theme of cow boy it was amazing over there food was delicious ambiance was out of DS world felt so much welcomed by a guy named prince he was a small guy with glasses he was such an amazing guy his services was so friendly and so prompt as we were just thinking of something n it was there in our hands thank you so muchhhh prince for such an amazing memory u have given to us I am so sorry that I have been late but was quite busy in workOnce again thank you so much huh u r a gem n u sud get promoted soon

Oktoberfest kick started here at Bangalore and have been to Taj Bangalore for the special Brunch.Beer, Cocktails  & Special Mocktails made the brunch more enjoyable.Brunch spreads were high in number and couldnt find anything below average.Each dish has its own identity and yeah everything was so fresh..Mexican counter was good for Meat lovers where you get live cooked sausages and more.They do have separate space for home cooked Vegeterian dishes which is worth trying.Non- Veg starters like Chicken dry and tapioca with chicken was brilliant.Breads were so soft and that takes to another level. Salads,Burritos and much more were there and all were available from live counter as well. Tandoori chicken was moderate spicy and Shawarma was succulent.Biryani and Curd rice were decent and its hard to try all the varities available for the brunch.Mango & Grape Sangria was well prepared and refreshing.Best part of the brunch is Desserts, Chocolate cakes ,Orange based cakes , Vannila & Passion Parfait was really yummy and Kasekuchen won the hearts.Oktoberfest Brunch is really worth trying and this is the talk of the town and this is the best brunch tried recently.

Rally great place, very nice, employee are very kind and well trained, the food is very good.

Worst food ever eaten in my life chicken was not cooked properly very bad service the staff were so confused they dont even know what the other person has taken the order because of which we had to wait for so long after each course of dinner very very dissatisfied and disappointed with food and service its spoiling the brand Taj for which I guess I wont even enter Taj for food anywhere !!!!Please improve its 5 star hotel guys ...

This was our first visit to cafe 77 to celebrate our mothers birthday. The way chef Bagmita and Vinayak catered us was simply awesome. They went out of the way to provide us with customized menu just to suite our taste buds. Vegetable kofta and mixed veg pudina paratha were amongst our favourites. To top it up the chocolate cake, one main course item, and the sweet dish were complimentary. They all were delicious and made the day even more special for our mother. I have no doubt in accepting that it has been one of the best services that we have experienced so far.
