We have been searching for the home construction from last few months but we were not able to find reliable contractor. We came to know about buildahome through one of my friend. I suggested the buildahome to my parents and we met the sales team 2 months back. After few discussions and understanding the process we started the design process by paying 25k as an advance. As in date we have finalised the floor plan, elevation and contract signing with them. It’s been almost 4 months with buildahome and my G+2 house started constructing..My experience with buildahome has been good. Build a home has strong team to full fill all requirements of clientsProvided structural, architectural, plumbing & electrical drawing well before execution. Also provided 3D building elevation.Dedicated site engineer at the site and project manager who visits often.Regular quality checks by site engineer, project manager and architect.Daily work update on mobile app & whatsapp group with live images by site engineer. Immediate response from Build a home team on whatsapp group for any queries or complaintsI am really thankful to team who is helping to make my dream true ..

I really had a very bad experience with this group. When the entire discussion started, i was told i need to make a payment of 25K and they will start with the designing work and if everything is fine and I prefer to proceed with construction service then we can take it forward to construction stage or exit.The designing stage went of well and then started the contradicting statements1. When i asked for clear measurement plan to understand how they have costed this project, they said they cannot share it and will only share after signing the agreement2.Initially they said its at my will to go ahead with construction with them but later when i said, im fine with just the designing for which i paid 25K i was told they cannot do that and were also not ready to share clear plan.3. their website says 1550 per square feet but during the costing when i asked for clear measurement they said they work on bulk order basis and cannot share clear measurement used for cost estimation4. Their GST rates are 12% which the client need to bear. whereas in the market its 18% where the company would pay 9% and client 9%. Its higher here too.5.finally the surprising part was for the setback area the per square feet cost given to me was ~1600 which was less than the buildup area per square feet cost. which i have not even heard anywhere6. In the agreement document, it was more of terms and conditions covering their interest, rather than agreement which would bind both the parties to follow certain standards. when i suggested changes to cover client interest in the agreement, he process went cold7. They were focusing on the term discount more and at one stage, i made it clear i dont need any discount just share with me the actual area measurement and how the costing was done. This never happened8. Through out the process I was being constantly approached to sign the agreement when the costing was not made clear and the clear measurement was not shared. They were expecting me to sign an agreement based on the cost they shared and i made it clear that i cannot sign the agreement without knowing any of these details.At one stage, I was out of station when they were asking me to sign the agreement quickly. when i mentioned, i was out of station, i was told i can transfer the amount to their account and sign the agreement later.Finally i chose not to go with them and asked them to close the deal. After me following up on this, They deducted 21500 Rs and refunded me 4500. Though i lost 21.5 K for nothing, I took it as blessing in disguise and i did not travel with them any further. I worked out a new plan by spending additional money as they did not share the clear plan with me.Im just sharing my experience as it had been quite memorable :)Lesson learnt, dont go by discount or lower price statements.
