One of the good park and lake view is also nice no entry charges. However kids have few options to play inside park not much to explore. Next to it you can visit model village which awesome place to visit.

Its good for a nice long walk. You go around the lake and its about 3 km +, may be . A portion of the trail is not good for now. Jakkur lake is way better ...

Very well maintained. The path around the lake is about 4kms, certain patches are not kept well. Sufficient seating all around. Good kids play area as well.

Very nice place for a morning walk / jog or even to spend a quality time. They still need to improve the walk path and make it even throughout and more work needed. However, it looks great at the entrance with good options for kids to play with, and some manual exercise machines for grown ups.

It is a beautiful place full of greenery. A good place to do morning excercise. It opens from 5:30 am till 10 am. Childrens play area is also an added benefit. The lake is neat and clean.It has a fish market in its compound where one can get fresh fish caught from lake. The fish market usually runs in the morning.It is spread over a huge area and one can feel calm and quite once inside.

It’s a very good park for morning and evening walk. Decent crowd with some runners. However running can be challenging as the entire patch is not good. It’s a 3.2-3.5 km distance in total.

Lovely place, authorities can improvise the park even better. Requesting BBMP commissioner to pay regular visits to park and set clear expectations to the frontline team!!!

This is park is best for jogging. It is partially developed but still its good. There is dedicated children play areas which are highly crowded on weekends. There are benches along the jogging track where you can chill.Lot of trees and flowers make the ambiance amazing.

Good park with less maintenance. Facilities are decent except washroom. Washrooms are locked and no one to assist. Need to arrange drinking water for people.

Beautiful lake. Not a good job in maintaining cleanliness in the park by the authorities. Too much littering. Its just not the authorities job to keep the garden clean. Public must discard the waste in waste bins. Please use dustbins public!!

This is a wonderful location adjacent to JNCASR. Though it is still under construction, the beauty is one of the best. Such places can fill your mind with positivity and vibration of nature.

Its a very nice place to hang out with friends and family. Park area where children can play. A huge walking path for family. Very clean and nature at its peak. Fantastic view of the lake. In this season, huge chances of seeing a rainbow if you visit at evening during sunset. Early morning sunrise is also a treat to our eyes. If visiting with small babies, do bring carriers or prams as you will be walking a lot.

Rachenehalli lake is a good option for evening walk. Children can play. But many children rushing to play. Two wheelers can park easily, even four wheelers can find some place.

As we are all aware that the metropolitan cities like Bengaluru will have the buzz going on for 24X7 and everybody in the city right from kids going to school till the working professionals, every one will be in the Rat race to achieve one or the other targets. These sort of lakes which are built superbly by the authorities and it is now on the people to maintain it clean without damaging the stuff it has like the kids play equipment or the exercise equipment for adults.Also, it has varieties of birds flying around, one can feel the chirps of them that soothen the mind and have pleasing effect on people visiting here. Only feedback for the improvement is that the walking track could be much better with gripping bricks instead of just mud laid down.Overall 5 out of 5 for this park.

Walk way is not circular. Ends on far end, about 2 kms on the other side of entrance. Work going on on 3rd side as of Aug 2021. Most part is paved.

A very magnificent park and a huge lake with a lot of greenery around the lake. It has a jogging or walking track around the lake. The track is somewhat a soft track but has a very uneven surface with lot of small stones/debris buried in the first layer of the surface which makes it not an ideal track for jogging. The timings of the park is from 5:30-9:00 in try morning and 4:00-7:00 in the evening. The timings are a bit odd as I dont understand why The park is closed between 9:00am to 4:00 pm. A little bit smelly but it may be because of the lake. A separate space for kids which has a lot of slides and swing. All are in better condition as of May 2019. A outdoor gym is also there for exercise lovers. The park area should have proper grass instead of junglee grass everywhere.

So beautiful lake with nice fluara and fuana. Clearly maintained by the authority having planted flower either side of the path. So pleasant environment. Good track to run , it is 3.3km around the lake. There is open gym built inside the park along children playing area. Totally a good place for walking, running and relaxing mind.

Lake and piece of land is good. But no maintainance, No checking of people without mask inside the park and due to drainage line foul smell.

This lakes beauty is breathtaking ,so neat clean well maintained,crystal clear blue water , wo green and silvery clouds,spent sometime in the evening and you get immense peace and relaxation.

Nice place to spend evening with the family. The breeze from the lake is a blessing. Moderately crowded. The kids play area and the open gym are the most crowded. Lawns are usually empty. Well maintained and kept clean and away from pollution.

Nice lake to have a walk around. One side is nicely maintained by laying out tiles and comfortable pathway. However the other side is not well maintained. Seems somewhat remote on not so nice side of the lake which doesnt often have any security personnel patrolling. Personally suggest not to leave young kids on their own.

Beautiful lake. Well maintained park and recreational areas. Right next to Village art which is again a good place to visit. The island connection in the middle is frequented by birds and is worth a watch.

The place is just too good for a morning run. Wonderful place to start your morning. Lots of spots to rest and the morning breeze just completes it. A bit of the trail is muddy but its a really good place.

It takes about 20-30 Minutes for one round of the park... the other activities which you can do here are like play some games... sit and spend some qualitative time with loved once...There is play area for children’s and lot of people come here with their babies...There is also a GYM area in this park...well maintained garden I would say... if you stay nearby do pay a visit, you will feel relaxed...

A surprisingly pleasant place that reflects the Bangalore of yesteryears. The gentle ebbing waters that caresses the shore and ferries ducklings across is a definite detox to the gadget-transfixed-eyes. A well maintained walkway with safety fences and good lighting runs around the perimeter of the lake. The surroundings are lush with greenery. What did strike me was a depiction of a village set-up besides the lake.This lake is probably going to be one of those places where I would never grow tired of visiting frequently. It dims out the buzz and humdrum of a volatile and effervescent city.

This is good place for walk, jog nd running but what I dont understand is, why the pets are not allowed but a lot of stray dogs are residents over there. Sports are not allowed but exercise machinery are there.

Its maintained well the air feels so fresh when we walk around the park if you try to complete the part it takes minimum of 30 -35 min . Its a great place to visit after a hard day of work!

If you are looking for some quite, relaxing time this is the place. The park is beautifully kept and well maintained. It has a breathtaking view. The walking trail is not paved. There is no play area for kids. No bicycles allowed. Breezy, relaxing and great for a walk.

This lake has a jogging track around the lake which covers nearly 3.5km one round in a pleasant environment. One side of the lake is fully covered with trees and a a good place for relaxing. The lake park has good amount of equipment’s for exercise in the public area wherein anyone can access and do the activities. Few seating arrangements for sit and relax too.

An unexpected jewel amidst high rises and concrete colonies... Kudos to the developers, and the people’s initiative to salvage what is left of Bangalore’s once lakes and localised parks. A must visit for anyone trying to escape an otherwise busy life for a few hours... Carry bug spray if you want to stay longer.

Nice park. Good walking track. Almost 45 mts walking circuit. Clean water. Not much crowds. Parking is not a problem.

Much improved now, used to be dirty with all the Ganesha idols lying around. Dont know why they have permanently locked up the main gate.

I love this place. I go there very often for running, exercising and to shoot my youtube videos. Very nice place.

Broken pathways. Makes walking slowly. Cannot enjoy the beauty of the place. There use to be timing board before covid which they have removed. New board is not put up hence confusion. Even the watchman is not sure.
