The hotel is in great location, with a shopping mall right next to it , metro stations very nearby and a market place/ shopping area nearby.There is a room type - Lake view , facing the ulsoor lake , pretty good view, but not great.There are no balconies.Service was good. Bath robes were providing upon request, would have expected them to be present before hand. The staff were polite.Food tasted the best. Food and beverages were great in terms of both quantity and quality. In room dining service was quick. Buffet breakfast was great.The hotel ambience is beautiful.Excellent in terms of security, Hygiene and following covid related protocols.

Amazing place! The parking is pretty tight but they allowed me to self park when requested. It was absolutely packed in the bar area and the restaurant buffet had decent number of takers. Food was great, ambience was soothing, price is bit on the higher side when compared to the likes of Marriott, but worth it in every sense. Service was spot on, they cleared the plates as and when we were done. The servers were available when needed. Very relaxing and peaceful just to be here. View from the terrace is good and worth going for a walk after dinner to enjoy the view and cool breeze.

My experience was not so good, because of the hospitality factor, staff is too slow as a tortoise, no one is bothered on the requirements of the guest. Since i stayed here for long so can tell you based on my experiences.Gym was closed almost in the evening time & to open it the staff took more than half of an hr.Rooms were amazing, not that big but yes luxurious.Breakfast buffet was good and tasty with good options.Not expected.

Cool and posh, with nice connectivity for the visitors to connect to the business meets often held. Metro station being nearby is an added advantage.

We visited the restaurant memories of China on this occasion and service and food was great. You must try the Ferrero rocher dumpling here. Everything we ordered was amazing and the portions sizes are very generous.

The staffs specifically the ones handling parking is pathetic. They are unnecessarily rude to drivers who can sometimes be confused of the driveway. Just being nice to the people spending money at your hotel is not sufficient.

Visited for the first time in all these years as this is a very old hotel. I was there for a wedding lunch. They offer valet parking. The banquet hall is spacious. The food was very tasty especially the sweet corn chicken soup which was thick and delicious. Other items like the chaats salads and sweets were sumptuous as well. The food at Taj hotels is always tasty. Though the hotel is very old it is very well maintained with recent renovations. Location is very prime bang on MG Road.

Very centrally located, recently renovated with the addition of 7 Rivers Microbrewery. Memories of China is the best restaurant and amongst my top 3 choices for Chinese food .

I loved the hospitality and the overall ambience of this place. It has 2 huge open gardens on the first floor with a very polite humble staff. Recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2021. Everything was perfect except the check out experience. Their renovated rooms are really nice with great house keeping staff. Check in experience was wonderful. Bell desk people were very helpful during the move in and move out times. Breakfast was delicious but the options were very limited. We got an opportunity to try “7 rivers brewery” which is a wonderful poolside lounge brewing craft beers.Cons: Check out experience was really bad only because of the receptionists negative attitude. To be honest, it felt like we checked in to a Taj and really enjoyed everything this property has to offer and then checked out of a 2 star hotel.

If you are looking for luxury and great ambiance then this place is for you. Amazing food.

It was very good over all .we were there for our brothers wedding for 3 days .food and deserts were excellent all three days .they made everything pure veg and eggless as per our request . Hatsoff to the chefs . Manager raghav was very kind and generous and very professional at his work . except 2 staffs not respecting guests properly( govindarajan at the catering area and some other lady at reception who had no curtosy to even address guests as madam or sir ) rest all were very good , kind and very prompt to respond . Overall we had a wonderful experience and taj mg road is a go to place for all the weddings especially during corona times ...

I stayed for 2N 3D and it was really highly hygienic hotel , staff was too good and helpful . Totally comfortable stay , food taste is really above par it was really good food . Back to the Taj after a long time since the lockdown. Went to the Trinity Square buffet spread. Food was good and tasty and service was very good and quick.

Had a chance to visit their newly opened poolside brewery. The ambience is to die for!! Would love visit again at night with the pretty lights.The beer options are great. And food is super tasty but I wish theyd increase quantity as the portions are quite small.Tried their shepherds pie, prawn 65, calamari and a few small plates and loved all. The calamari with mango mayonnaise was the best.

Place so good and they take care you so well. Every thing they do has a standard and it beats all the other standards. I like the way cleaned up the room for everyday I stayed there. Its always perfect. There are many hidden things in the room. It was a like a treasure hunt for me. There are holy books as well near the bed. The tea bags they gave were so flavourful that I emptied the cabinet. Food was so great and the service they offer is 24/7 service. I asked for some specifics like to make butter chicken spicy and the chief there made it exactly to my taste. There is a buffet and offer for the people who stay in the hotel. I did not gey a chance to try it. I bet it will be awesome. For in-room dining there is QR code which will be on the cabinet. Scan for the menu. The phone there has button for any service you need. Just press the respective button and wait for few seconds and order whatever you want. From now onwards this place is my go to peace place.

The expertise with which she handled the event is top notch! U nailed it!!When all the guest relish and enjoy the buffet spread - you know one thing.. The food is delicious! Just don’t know how to start, where to start. Multiple dissatisfaction and disappointments was there.Being a member of Marriott group of Hotels we always stay with Marriott either in India or out of India, because every time we feel overwhelmed by their overall service. We thought why don’t give a try to a “ Desi brand” this time. My husband actually convinced me.After entering the reception the lady told us “ I have arranged a extremely exiting surprise for you, please come with me’. Their was a mini cake ( less than half pound) and 9/10 balloons were there 🤦🏻‍♀️ Even if someone visit any 5 star or 3 star for dine-in on any special occasion they also provide a half pound cake. Even BBQ Nation also. Room experience: From the very beginning she was having the attitude that they are doing some kind of favour to us. She said “ we are providing you a special room with best view”. NO, we paid extra for upper floor with lake you.She insisted us to call her at the time of cutting the cake. For a moment we forgot that everything is a game of c-sat and reviews. She took photos, took my WP number and left. After half an hour started texting me repeatedly to give reviews mentioning her name on trip advisor and on their official website. I told her I will do that, we are familiar with the process. That time it was around 11pm.How can someone write a review just after 7hours of check-in? In the morning around 10am she again started texting for reviews. That time I got really annoyed and blocked her. I think if someone is doing their job properly they really don’t need to put extra effort on this. They will get it spontaneously.room service:1. Water drainage system is terrible in Bathing section. Water doesn’t pass through the hole.2. There was no bathrobe.3. There was no Slippers in the room.You have to carry it to avoid walking on cold marble floor bare footed.Room size was just okay, like any other normal size apartment. ( we didn’t book suit). It was “room with lake view” in 8th floor.dining part: Surprisingly there was only 3 options for non vegetarian people (More SOUTH INDIAN VEG options was available).boiled eggs, small size sausage ( which I found sour in taste) no dip was their for the sausage, and Bacon ( which was cold and extremely hard to chew) which tasted bad. I told the same to a person who was serving, He just looked and me and left the place. Does not even bother to tell us anything. I don’t think everybody have to be vegetarian to have a good food over their. Even 3 stars hotels keep more options on their buffet spread.On anniversary special dinner we went to “Memories of China”. For any unknown reason they kept us waiting for more than 1 hour to serve the Main course, while others were served before us who came after us. May be they thought as we are residing their it’s okay to make us wait, let’s serve them first who are here only for dine-in, this point of time my husband got extremely frustrated and went to the counter ask politely to cancel the order or will pay but will not have the dinner over here. Although he was irritated from inside he didn’t raise his voice. But the man from the counter hold him “ sit down, everybody is watching you” seriously? This is a way a waiter will talk to a customer when the fault is from their side?? Then they came back with 2 mini chocolates!!We shared our experience with couple of our friends and family members. Surprisingly one of our family members shared the same experience with us.I really don’t know where was the problem ? Did we expected too much or they run Bangalore Taj like this!!! When we received feedback related call the concerned person offered a free meal. We denied. Everyone is not fond of free things. Rather than offering free meal or mini chocolates they should take our reviews seriously. Our Anniversary celebration did not go well due to them which comes once in a year.1 thing is for sure, we will never go back to Taj again.

Tried Father’s Day menu from Qmin, qurated quality quisine.We ordered Indian Non vegetarian brunch, they served quality food. Lasooni Palak was very tasty. Gosht ki Shammi was lajawab. Pulao tasted good. Awadhi Gosht Korma tasted average where as chicken Chettinad was too good.Packing was very nice.Had a wonderful Father’s Day lunch which ended with brilliant Kamala bhog.

Taj MG RoadIn the Heart of City bangaluru.This Taj is not as big as other Taj hotels , it is more like business hotel or like Vivanta by Taj .Hotel Rooms - Very good , comfortable mattress , 50inch Smart Sony LED , Tea coffee maker , USB charging and adequate charging points if u use multiple gadgets . Modern washroom like vanity design ( all basic Toiletries were there ) and upon request they will provide too.Swimming pool area is on ground floor and open till 7PM because then they operate open area bar and lounge.Spa , sauna steam were in basement.Gym was on 1st floor and quiet a good gym I would say.Food was definitely good with the authenticity of Karnataka and also global taste as per ur choice.Food variety was not there , may be cause of cost cutting during Covid times - Justified.Overall Nice and amazing experience for a business hotel but if u you are looking for holiday or with family opt another Taj

Buffet at Trinity is reasonably priced and the spread is according to the price. They can add some Chinese and South Indian options in their buffet spread to make it more interesting.

Amazing stay, good hospitality, 7 rivers was a amazing dining place. BUT breakfast they have to improve, daily same spread. no change in the Menu, minute change.Breads are not as fresh as ITC.
