Sacred Heart Church is one of the oldest and largest churches in Bangalore. The ambiance and structure of the church is marvelous. There is ample parking for bikes and cars, they do have a wedding hall and school too.

Once you entered the church positive vibes and Peaceful feeling automatic come up. inside the church looks very beautiful and from Out side view also it looks wonderful. :)

The amazing church I visited this church on the occasion of Christmas. It was decorated so beautifully, decorated with stars all around, the #birth of #Jesus, the #childhood of #Jesus, the #struggle of #Jesus all were described with #stories. Inside the church, I really found the #actual #peace, It was so #peaceful that you can really #connect with the #god and get his #blessings. Also, it was #decorated so nicely that I was amazed and I cant even move my eyes from praising the beauty of the #Church! This is like a home parish for me away from home. One of the oldest church in Bangalore with great architecture. You will definitely find some peace over here. Lots of parking space, on the main road and celebrations through out the year is best over here. Main feast are celebrated very joyfully. Please visit once.

A beautiful church ,well maintained as well. Good parking space since it uses the ground of the school.One of the oldest church in Bangalore. Slow down before u reach your location or you might miss the gate to enter the parking, else you might have to come in reverse very carefully as its a very busy one way road. Also the church has a bus stop at the gate ,so there is good access to public transport ,you can say the name of the church to the bus conductor,that should be enough to take the ticket.

Every year its a ritual for me and my friend to visit this place. Its one the most beautiful churches. And the peace I get In praying here is just overwhelming. Recently visited on Christmas. The place was lit with beautiful fairy lights decore. The good thing was, it wasnt crowded like every other year, keeping covid in mind. Also, the place is maintained in accordance with covid precautions.

One of the oldest churches Bangalore located on Richmond road. Its attracts a lot of devotees from all walks of life. The church has good parking place. The church also houses a boys high school, community College and a Community hall.In 1995 St. Mother Teresa visited the church and a road adjoining the church was named after her.The church has recently built a adoration chapel for its devotees.

Brief details:Sacred Heart Church, Bangalore : A catholic church located in Richmond Road in the city of Bangalore.The church had a humble beginning in a small rented bungalow situated on Victoria Road in 1880. A new church became a necessity to accommodate more and more worshipers, and in 1893, foundation stone for the construction of a new church in the present location was laid by Reverent Monseigneur Kleiner of the Paris Foreign Missions Society. Built in a rare mix Gothic and French style of architecture, this colonial church has Roman-style side altars, two parallel column towers and a huge bell from Italy.The building is characteristic of solid blocks of granite rock, marble interiors, beautifully sculpted statutes and pillars decorated with Corinthian-style carvings. The first Mass (liturgy) in the new Church was celebrated on Sunday, the 23rd December,1893.It was solemnized by the parish priest Rev.Fr.Jean-Marie Combret of the Paris Foreign Missions Society. On 15th October 1995, Saint Teresa of Calcutta, visited this church. To honor her visit a road close to the church, was named after her.

The Sacred Heart Church, Bangalore is an historical one built  in a rare mix Gothic and French style architecture.Constructed in 1867, this colonial church has  Roman-style side altars, two parallel column towers and a huge bell from Italy.  The building is characteristic of solid blocks of granite rock, marble interiors, beautifully sculpted statutes and pillars decorated with Corinthian-style carvings.This impressive church is, no doubt, is a bridge between modern India and its early connectivity with the British colonialism.

At the center of Bangalore, an old parish that has very good parking and community center facilities. The school within the campus sees the place being crowded on weekdays, specially during school start and close time. The church has a nice stained glass painting of Jesus above the altar. Masses in all prominent languages of Bangalore.

Wide and spacious building occupying a lot of prime real-estate. Loud noise and more than the sermons there are songs and other activities. I didn’t find any spiritual impulse at all. There is not much space for parking and the crowd is unruly. Not sure how one would get connected to the inner peace in such a place.

Beautiful old church.. Very peaceful to pray.. Eucharistic chapel is very quiet and calm. Wonderful place to mediate and pray.

Best to visit on Sunday holy mass.CHURCH HISTORYThe Sacred Heart Church traces its origins to a small rented bungalow near the old Race Course Road Ground at the end of the Victoria Road near Shoolay which was used both as a Church and presbytery. Till 1880 Indian Christians attended services at St. Mary’s Church and St. Francis Xavier’s Church. Sacred Heart parishioners were actually former members of St. Mary’s Church till Most Rev. Agustus Chevalier built a separate parish cum first parish priest

It was a very very nice church. A vintaged church from inside. Gives a feeling of peace and inner joy once inside the church. Have posted the pics enjoy the church and have a prayer filled life. God bless you. They have 5 to 6 parking for cars inside. You can also pay and park outside.

Sacred heart Church is more than 125 years old, praying inside just for few minutes will give you a sense of peace and happiness, I grew up , because it is very close to our house and I studied in sacred heart school,

Attended the English service at 6:00 p.m on Sunday. The priests sermon message was truly insightful and touching. The hymns are short and peaceful to listen to.

Beautiful architecture.6. Very calm and peaceful inside.7. Statutes are big and fantastic.8. No sooner you enter this church one gets a very blessed feeling.

Wedding halls is good. Good parking facility. But staffs attitudes are not good. Toilet facilities are really bad. The hall is in 1st floor. There is no wheel chair facilities. No lift. Transportation is good. Bus stop is in the entrance.

Ave maria, Dear Bishop , Please change Parish priest in sacred heart church they is no washroom available , no drinking water facility , no proper clean , not proper management , inside church hospital are located. they is spear ted treatment for poor and rich , the parish priest will behave like rowdy, he trust only those who lie , who act like true Christian. If any marriage, death or any functions, she will show his face as we came from other region, for RC he acts like this, we had very bad experience, he is not perfect .
