Overall lots to see here and you should probably spend a t least two hours to see most of it.There is an app called Pinakin that you can download but the streaming doesnt work well, so download before leaving your hotel and you can download the 20 or so attractions there. The park itself is nice by local standards and is being cleaned up. Hopefully they can continue to make progress on cleaning it up more as it is a great area.

Nice lake. Lalbagh Botanical Garden is located in Bangalore and is nationally and internationally renowned centre for botanical artwork, scientific study of plants and also conservation of plants. A haven for all nature lovers, Lal Bagh covers an area 240 acres in the heart of the city and has nearly 1,854 species of plants. It was commissioned by Hyder Ali in 1760 and completed by his son Tipu Sultan. The garden features rare plants of French, Persian and Afghani origin and has attained the status of a Government Botanical Garden. The Lal Bagh Rock which is over 3000 million years old is found here and is a major tourist attraction.

And inside most of things are of 40 rupees 😁 like when I visited there one person gave two chocolate to me when I was asked to him what is the cost he told 40 rupees and when I gave 40 rupees to him he told 40 rupees per chocolate and the chocolate is not a chocolate that is waffer. After that I was sit at one place there one more person come there and requesting to purchase pineapple salad I told him to give 2 pineapple salad and I asked him rate of that he told me that of 40 rupees when I was gave he told 40 rupees per salad. And in salad there is only 2 slice of pineapple . So please be careful .Otherwise everything is good.

Lalbagh has multiple gates and Lalbagh lake is near the East gate. A beautiful lake with a pathway to walk aside it, and benches for your rest breaks. In the mornings, this place is only for the walkers until 8am. Post that you can see couples spending their romantic time amidst nature. Families come here for picnics and a lot of tourists visit here on weekends. To quench your thirst, youll find many vendors with coconut water and fresh fruits, within the park.Ticket isnt much expensive either. I think it is iNR 30/20 per person. I dont remember exactly. Your DSLR would be charged extra though. They also have multiple parking lots for those coming with their cars.I wouldnt recommend going here on weekends as their is toooo much crowd. Go on weekdays and have your lil time with the nature.

Very well maintained and good place for evening strolls. It is located in the south west part of the Lal Bagh park. Seats are available for enjoying the beautiful sunset over the lake. It is home to many migratory birds. The archs made by the trees give additional decoration. Entry fee is Rs 20/- per head. After finishing tour of Lal Bagh and glass house, it is mandatory to cross the path separating two lakes and enjoy the cool breeze flowing over it.

Lalbagh Botanical Gardens or Lalbagh is an old botanical garden in Bengaluru, India. First planned and laid out during the rule of Hyder Ali and later adorned with unique plant species by his son Tipu Sultan, it was later managed under numerous British Superintendents before Indian Independence. It was responsible for the introduction and propagation of numerous ornamental plants as well as those of economic value. It also served a social function as a park and recreational space, with a central glass housedating from 1890 which was used for flower shows. In modern times it hosts two flower shows coinciding with the week of Republic Day (26 January) and Independence Day (15 August). As an urban green space along with Cubbon Park, it is also home to numerous wild species of birds and other wildlife. The garden also has a lake adjoining a large rock on which a watchtower had been constructed during the reign of Kempegowda II.

Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bangalore City. One must visit the bonsai garden to be amazed by the smaller version of trees that are otherwise huge. You can also purchase ornamental as well as medicinal plants at a very nominal price here. They also organise Krishi mela, where they exhibit organically grown grains, and pulses. If lucky you can get your hands on a whole meal too. There are many seasonal fruit stalls where you can get fresh fruits for a good deal. Also, dont be shocked if you find couples having a photoshoot here with a professional photographer, because that is how beautiful the gardens here are.Definitely a must visit place if you are in Bangalore.
