I reside in Bangalore but I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights due to my house repair work.We’ve redeemed our points for staying which, we wouldn’t spend it soon.All staff were absolutely helpful and attentive, the hotel gave us even upgraded room, our room was good, which had a city view, I liked the view very much.Breakfast was absolutely good and delicious.We used to order food to our room too, the quantity was substantial so we could even share.Due to Covid, the pool was closed, there was a nice garden on the ground floor. My daughter used to enjoy watching colorful tiny fish and lotus flowers in the ponds.Hope I will visit for brunch soon.

The room is decent and so is the overall Hotel structure.However, there were definitely areas that could do with improvement. One, the bed was not very comfortable. The pillows were just so uncomfortable to sleep on. We requested better pillows, and even they caused pains in the neck.Two, the dinner buffet spread was quite huge, but nothing was great. It was average quality but insane variety.On the plus side though, the staff is superbly courteous and kind. There is a walking area outside which is amazing for a nice evening stroll. The view from the room is amazing, with an excellent window to the forest right outside. And the breakfast buffet was pretty good both in terms of taste and spread.As a couple, its overall an average stay, nothing spectacular. And I felt that it was not overall worth the money spent.

Good place to stay in... centrally located....food spread is good and tasty...The only issue I found out is non availability of news paper....whole world had accepted the Covid doesnt spread with news paper. How I wish they can start the news paper. The swimming pool is yet to be opened. Otherwise all the Covid protocols are being followed

I drove 1.5hours to get my hair done at the Spa services because I know this hair dresser is not an employee but an artist. Grace is one of the best in her field (hair and make up). I got the exact shade I wanted in one go and was pampered throughout the process.

I attended for brothers marriage. Hospitality and response of the staff was good. Food is very tasty. We stayed for three days . Enjoyed food and other facilities. But swimming pool is just kept for design or as a show piece. Activities and functions will be going on and you cannot use or enjoy in the swimming pool. There are no separate rooms for car drivers who come along with us.

Was here for a day, the room service was quick. The room was clean, however the bath tub was not well cleaned. We were given good treatment through out our stay.

We had been here for a farewell luncheon from our office.The team had made it a personalized experience by placing the name plates of. The guests that made them feel special.Loved the spread, especially for non veg lovers.. food was delicious..And not to miss the care and courteousness of the staff.. Good job by team JW Marriott..Looking forward to visit again.

We had been to JW Marriott for birthday celebrationSPICE TERRANCEPathetic!!We go to these restaurants to get good experiences and the service was pathetic.There were more than 2 tables who were not happy with the service and had argument with manager.And it was disturbing whole atmosphereAtleast we expected to have better taste with food even that was disappointing and for every dish we had too wait alot.Since half of the staff was absent it made it even more worse. There were so many mosquitoes and no one was concerned about itI would never like to visit againAnd this not only my review most of them had very bad experience.1 star is just for the pool view ⭐

JW Marriott buffet never disappoints me.. somehow today all fish items were not satisfactory. However my family enjoyed their wide spread of desserts.. surprisingly no other restaurants offer so many varieties of desserts. I always enjoy food here. Hope they fix their fish menu during my next visit.

We went for their Sunday buffet & were very happy with the spread. The variety available was impeccable. Special mention to Ajay from the staff. He very sweetly replaced our beverage without us even asking for it. Definitely one of the best buffets in town. We will surely go back.

Best location, best food and good service.We use the JWM for our corporate events as well as dinners etc and have always had a satisfying experience. The food in JWM is good and never felt otherwise.Good parking facilities and valet service available too. Good security systems in place and good staff.Rooms are good and spacious.Sure to have a nice time while here.

It was my best stay ever. Room was perfect. Best ambience and enough space. We visited JW Marriott for birthday celebration on 22/02/2021 and we really enjoyed our stay.We also tried dinner buffet which was also nice. Catering services was so kind and generous.I wanted to mention about Mr. Prathamesh who is so helpful and kind. He arranged a birthday cake(best chocolate mud cake ) at 12 am. When I asked to one of the manager at JW Kitchen to arrange a cake at 12 am there was not a positive response from him.But Prathamesh made our day. Thank you for your service. Though JW Marriott is a great property and have experienced great hospitality, worldwide.But,Club Marriott Bangalore, service is pathetic. Staff treat Club Marriott members as door mats. They feel, they are doing a favor towards customers and we are at their mercy.I am writing this with dissatisfaction. Bangalore team, when they want business, its sugar coating talks, once enrolled, you are treated like no ones business.Am not sure, if Club Marriott is a inhouse brand of JW group. If thats the case , they need to look at the flaws and reach out customers to record their grievances.I did respond to their survey couple of weeks back for another bad experience with poor ratings, there was no revert back asking the reason for such poor remarks.Now, this week, another pathetic experience. Honestly, the management of this place has reached a new low. I came here for an event and was harassed by someone and the manager asked me to brush it off and just leave. Imagine being a woman and going to a highly reputed place assuming they have your back & instead you’re asked to leave. The staff are straight up rude, they’re not helpful at all. And if you call the hotel, most of the time nobody picks up nor do they return the calls. I used to visit this place regularly like 4 years ago and it was so much better then. Whoever is hiring the people here clearly aren’t doing their job right. Atleast have the human decency to help a girl out when she’s in trouble. Call the cops, do anything. What if the same happens to your daughters or wives? No woman deserves such a treatment.

I had called the banquet to make a reservation for a birthday event. I was told I would be receiving a price quote for the same which I still didnt recieve. I always believed Marriott had the best hospitality and response. But deeply disappointed. Maybe they are not who they were before.

I didnt stay there; rather I went there for a a product launch event with my aunt. But the reason for my review here is for the food I got to eat there- like daaammnn!! It was amazing and top notch!!🤤🤤

I have been staying at this property for very long time.I have been a very regular guest and most of thr staff remembers my name.But, I had to face a very bad experience with Mr. NACHIKETH that I lost all the good memories I had with this hotel.I have always given them business but thr way ge behaved with me was not at all polite and it was very embarrassing for me as a guest.I always pay my bills while I check out and thstx been my policy for many of my stays here s for most of thrn knis it and they never questioned it because I am such a loyal and regular customer for them.While I went to recharge my room key card, Mr. NACHIKETH asked me to clear bills.I told him I have been clearing bills while checking out since its inconvenient to pay me every now and then and I mentioned Isha and Deeksha are the one who handled me and there was never an issue.For that he became aggressive and stated me with a tone that they are his juniors and he need not seek permission from them and he completely misunderstood.His tone and body language became aggressive.Neither I was loud or I was showing my attitude.This guy totally lost it and I still wonder whats the reason.May be just because I said his juniors are taking very good care of me and it might have hurt his ego and I only see this is a reason.I just obliged and paid the amount.But, to treat a guest in this manner is shame to hotel and uts management.Specially at the Front desk ad its the face of the hotel.Suerly management needs to train this guy to handle the guests better.Its a hospitality industry and one needs to kmow how to behave with the guest.I hope the management will take into consideration and send him for few guest handling sessionsI would never like to see his face.So the whole experience of J.W crashed with this one incident.Learn basic ethics and guest handling Mr. NACHIKETH.Hope your juniors teach you it.Very sad experience

Exquisite place. The continental dishes are lip smacking but the Indian dishes are below average.

An absolutely terrible experience for a 5 star hotel! I had booked a twin bed room and I had arrived at 4.30 for the check-in which is well after the normal check in time of 3 pm and I had expected to have a smooth check-in but I was informed that there are no twin beds available! After so much of request, the duty manager, Mr. Avjit Chatterjee said that Im opening the 10th floor exclusively for you for a twin bed whereas that was also a blatant lie because that floor was sufficiently occupied.. the entire process took me more an hour to check-in. Which 5 star hotels provide such delayed services!! Such a horrible start to the much needed vacation I looked forward to!Luckily then I contacted another lady duty manager who was very kind and polite towards us.But this guy is a shame to the hospitality industry!!

I stayed with JW Marriott in August 2021, and it was baffling to find that the administration was very relaxed about covid appropriate behaviour. It started at check in where there was no basic temperature checks, lack of sanitizers around reception area where people were being given the same pen and pad for completing their check-in. Secondly, at the restaurant most guests are walking around without a mask most probably due to the lack of any signage asking people to mask up at least around buffet. Seeing this, I decided to skip the complimentary breakfast and decided fo eat outside. I hope the adminstration does bare minimum to ensure safety of its guest

Wonderful stay! We stayed for a day as staycation. Huge rooms facing beautiful cubbon park, the lush green trees. Well sanitized rooms, caring staff. Regarding JW Kitchen was one of the best buffet.

A little better will make it the bestConsider 4.5 stars

It’s located right next to UB City which is a convenient location.I visited for lunch and it was A la carte. I was quite disappointed by the service they offer 2 different waiters served us and the first person was really bad but we were quite satisfied later with the second person.Being JW Marriott and charging so much for every basic dish you have to also make sure your offering a great service for the money you charge.

Oh I love brunches... and JW Marriott was amazing.. Best part was I was meeting a friend after 6 years.. so there was good food.. not to worry if it veg or non-vegetarian there is something for everyone... love music... I tried something new Veg sushi, Japanese food.

Had booked a table well a day in advance to celebrate my wifes birthday. Had requested them if they could arrange a cake and was told that they would provide a complimentary Chocolate mousse ( however I requested them if anything else can be arranged on payable basis but they denied). When arrived at restaurant there was no cake presented and I didnt feel like asking as it was already informed at the time of booking the table.The ambience was for sure good, ordered a Singaporean Laksa chicken soup was ok, the Makai methi kabab was good, by mistake I had ordered Mahi Tikka ( which I messed up thinking it to be chicken, was completely my mistake), so just asked them to clear it without even taking a bite of it, was surprised that no one even bothered to find out why the entire dish was just asked to clear without eating it at all. Even though it was completely my mistake but I was expecting some one to atleast enquire what went wrong. We just had starters so cannot comment on main course or any other dishes. Around 3 years ago had visited same place for Sunday brunch and was excellent, but this time was not so satisfying. My wife went to ladies rest room amd found it to be messy and not clean.

Lifeless Luxury with bland serviceI usually dont give a 2 star rating to hotels, but this hotel that is riding on its past glory was screaming for a low rating!I have stayed in plenty of JW Marriott properties across the globe and this one certainly cannot hold a candle to any of those. The building and property might be still well maintained. But it fell flat completely flat when it came to service. Right from the minute we entered until we checked out there were so many issues we encountered. I do acknowledge that the pandemic has impacted the hospitality industry heavily. But a lot of other properties we stayed at recently didnt allow this to impact their service or dilute the brand value and quality. Even other hotels in the neighborhood (like the fabulous CONRAD hotel) are going above and beyond to ensure the guests dont feel like they are staying at a hotel during testing times. HOwever this hotel felt like a graveyard! With just a fraction of the staff to attend to guests. While our stay at CONRAD felt like we were in a place filled with life and energy, the stay here felt like we had entered a dark and dim universe! Not what I expected from a flagship hotel of my favourite chain. To be honest, I am a Marriott lover and lifetime Platinum and Titanium elite. Given that this review might be quite harsh, but this stay was that disappointing.LOCATION: Wonderful location on the fringe of the lush green Cubbon park, and close to all key points of interest.DINE + DRINK: While the hotel has an array of F & B options, we had access to only the JW Kitchen due to Pandemic restrictions. The breakfast spread was exhaustive, but the quality of what we tasted(the south indian dishes) didnt meet the bar for a Luxury hotel like JW. Certainly room for improvementROOM: We stayed in 1022, which was a Suite, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Lovely view of the Cubbon park and Vidhana Soudha ; SIZE: Very spacious Living room and dining area along with a Huge Bedroom; AIR-CON: Very poor air conditioning that made the room stay quite warm until the temperatures came down in the evening!; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Lovely spa quality cosmetics from FOREST ESSENTIALS luxury brand.SERVICE: The biggest letdown of the stay! They seemed to be operating with barely any staff when we checked in. There was one person at the reception and one fronting the restaurant/cafe. NEver have we struggled so much (not even in a 2 or 3 star hotel, let alone a 5 star hotel!) to get things. Every time we tried to call the concierge or operator we had to wait for at least 20 to 25 rings! And at times, we had to walk down to the reception to get things in person!!! Ridiculous levels of service!FACILITIES: Very good Gym with a full range of weights and Cardio machines. Thankfully there was one highlight at the hotel! The pool also looked wonderful, but we couldnt use it due to the pandemic restrictions.HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Oddly SMALL TV screen for such a big suite. Looked like they were trying to cut costs?! Not what a JW Marriott outlet should be doing.

There was a large miscommunication b/w the staff for the covid vaccine drive which they told me was for everyone despite me talking to 3 different employees of Marriott and confirming before I checked in but the morning of the vaccine a manager by the name Sonali was very rude and said it’s a corporate event and all she kept saying was “sorry for the miscommunication “ but they still charged me 16k and couldn’t do anything about it.She is the most unprofessional manager and not fit to be on that post only false hopes were given due to their lack of coordination.They very casually denied everything.In such uncertain times they have no kindness and acted only until the bill needed to be paid.They totally lifted their hands of the entire issue.Didn’t expect this from Marriott such a reputed hotel has dropped its standard.Iv stayed at your properties worldwide and never experienced this kind of behaviour.Only good thing that came out was speaking with your senior manager Mr.Saurav who understood my grievance and offered the best help he could.Kindly look into the issue please and don’t play with your customers feelings so easily by just lifting your hand.I hope my grievance will be addressed by the higher authorities.

Luxury stay i had a beautiful moments shared here with family.

Stay was very goodBut avoid Sunday dinner as the restaurant was overcrowded. Breakfast was excellent. Will especially recommend the filter coffee in brass cup. Out of the world taste Nothing

Went with a lot of expectations for their Christmas Eve dinner buffet. However, the experience turned out to be a rather disappointing one. When it comes to food most of the items were rather lacklustre. The turkey was exceedingly dry due to the bird sitting out under the hot lamp for a long time. The pork belly was not crispy, but dry to the core, with crust like leather. None of the dishes were palatable in the main course and appetizer section. The chicken kabab was dry as well. It seems that dryness was the theme rather than the yuletide spirit. The dessert section couldnt redeem the buffet with its sorry excuse for Christmas desserts . Plum cake from a local bakery seemed a much better alternative for the one they catered. Overall, this meal was a huge dampener, something which we dont have a lot of scarcity of in these trying times.Also, an establishment like Marriott should have more to offer in terms of entertainment. The least they could have had was a live band belting out Christmas numbers.When it comes to cleanliness measures, I really think the ladles should be changed and cleaned once in a while.

Good, well cooked tasty food. We visited on a random weekday to celebrate a birthday. There was wide variety of food in the dinner buffet. I personally liked the gosht biryani.Staff were smiling and helpful but the service was pathetic. It took them ages to get us some beer and green tea. This happened not once but multiple times.

Our order hadnt been placed for over 45 minutes. We had to remind them about our order. The complimentary bread was stale and chewy. The rest of the ordered food was great in terms of taste though.

Had a very bad experience at JW Marriott as a member. I had booked a room through club Marriott and they told me that the room is confirmed. After reaching the hotel they are telling that the room is not confirmed and they are blaming their own team saying that JW Marriott is different and Club Marriott is different. Please dont take their membership. Which is worthless.
