They let us explore a lot of things in different ways which helps us think different!We went on a trip to London and Paris, and it was one of my best trips ever.! Getting to see and experience things i have only hear and read about finally made it REAL to me and, i am telling EVERYONE to be a part of this journey.!The course which was offered to us also helped me gain so much of knowledge about Fashion Media Styling. I finally did my First International Styling Shoot, which was like a dream come true.!London College of Fashion gave me so much to learn.! Thanks to Ms.Kerry Pannagiao that i am more confident now to execute my ideas with ease and creativity. I am excited to see where my styling journey leads to in the near future.In this journey, i found new people, i made new friends and my travel was so much fun with them.! I’m Apoorva D Naik, a fashion faculty at JD institute of fashion technology, Bangalore.How do we feel when we tick off a thing in our bucket list? Excited and thrilled. Imagination journey 2020 helped me tick two off my list. Looking at the magnificence of Eiffel Tower, in its full glow brought in a lot of mixed emotions. Standing there at the top, I was awestruck by the view and words cannot describe the emotions that went through me. We visited Champs-Elysees, said to be one of worlds most beautiful avenue, is marked by some of the most important historical landmarks and a perfect destination for a shopping spree. The louvre, one of the world’s famous museum is a must-visit for all the design students. Apart from the well-known glass pyramid and the Mona Lisa, there are few other pieces, which could be taken as inspiration for many designers. Paris is charming during the day and when the evening comes, the streets become one of the most enchanting places to take a walk or even to explore cafes. It was a very short visit to Paris but it’s truly the city of love and city of lights, much more than just the Eiffel Tower, owing to the beautiful architecture, romantic French language, the reputation of red wine and cuisine, history, art, and fashion.Before the course at LCF, I was an amateur at styling and knew very basic information about the field. Now Im confident enough to style anyone. I loved the creative process and working with Ms Kerry Panaggio, helped understand all the nuances which otherwise would not be found in any textbook. The styling course at London College of fashion, UAL, was exemplary. As a student, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful campus and the quality teaching. Ms. Kerry Panaggio provided extraordinary styling sessions which were so interactive and interesting. Her amazing teaching skills helped me to enhance my skills and improve my knowledge as a fashion Faculty as well.I would like to thank Mr. Nealesh Dalal Sir and Ms. Sandra Ma’am for giving me a wonderful and educative opportunity and also for giving a new perspective about fashion and lifestyle. Imagination Journey 2020 will indeed be the best experience I have ever had. I’m so grateful and proud to be a part of the JD family.

My LCF experience has been extremely good. I have learnt a lot in the past 4-5 days about how styling in real life works, how a photo shoot is supposed to take place and what kind of clothing suits which kind of body type. Watching my ideas come to life is a very liberating experience. London College of Fashion has taught me quite a lot about styling and how an editorial shoot takes place. It was my first time so I was slightly nervous but it went absolutely amazing! The faculty and environment there in general are extremely open and accepting. My ideas were appreciated and the shoot went exactly as I planned. My style mantra is –‘Be Open’. Let your style reflect your ideas and beliefs and let people know who you are and who you want to be.My entire JD imagination journey was a dream come true! London and Paris were both gorgeous cities and Im extremely grateful to JD Institute of fashion Technology to have given me this opportunity to explore the world out of my own country and study abroad.I really would want to go back to London and experience this all over again!

“JD Imagination Journey 2020”- JD has truly given us an imagination platform. Now that we are back in India, we all wish to stay for some more days in Paris and London. We reminiscence the first day being nervous about how will we survive this unknown journey with unknown people. Thinking we will be relying on our friend solely, but there everyone becomes your friend, your sister, your guide and eventually “Family”.Starting with Paris, the new friendship bond begins as well as exploration of the place of fashion. Immediately everyone turns into a Fashionista by understanding the style and the dynamic of fashion.In London, we had a chance to sail on a ferry from Paris to London. However, topsy-turvy the journey was ultimately I am glad to sail and see the beautiful Landscape of Dover Beach. We saw the vintage street to the high-end luxury brand, we were curious as well as enthusiastic. Camden market, a horse table turned into a street shopping market. You will be awe when you see the 3-D window display installation. Even in Harrods where Dior installation blew our mind by the words “Look Inside” and you can literally see the products are in the limelight. I thank JD Institute of Fashion Technology for giving such an amazing experience, not only the fond memories but also making us Independent. And I deeply wish to go back again with the same people to visit London.

Hi I just wanted to share my views about the jd institute of fashion technology Bangalore, because my niece is a student of this college.she says the college has a poor academic history and she didn’t go through reviews before joining .The college lacks encouragement.There is no job guarantee for those who take up jobs in this institution specifically in interior designing,they take a lot of money but at the end they provide us with very little opportunity to have a career.Be careful while investing your precious life, hard work and money in such institutions.

This school is a lot better then the school with a similar courses. For starters, its a real art school not some corporation taking every student on the planet that qualify for a loan. This school is focused on making great design students and excel their talent. The work looks better then most fashion schools I have seen so they are doing something right. They have amazing alumni, and best annual fashion event for students.

Hie, im jdian who took after in the imagination journey. LCF opened up my understanding about the world of fashion and gave me a broader perspective of the same. I learned about how to take my career forward and become a professional stylist through various channels. The course also helped me understand that every look is better when it has a creative spin.

London and Paris are on every fashion enthusiast’s bucket list. The culture allows you to experience it unlike any other. But very few people actually get to tick off places like these from their list and I am privileged to have been able to experience this wonderful journey. I thank Mr Nealesh Dalal, Ms Sandra Sequeira and Ms Shrishti Jaiswal, for allowing me to be a part of such a wonderful journey, from taking care of me, giving me tips and pieces of advice have helped me enjoy the trip. It was wonderful experience in JD, and students get lot of opportunities to attend valuable sessions and involve themselves . I had been volunteered session which was by BBD, which was on mobility design, State of Indian homes, and future of architecture,which gave me a lot of exposure to industry experience. My journey to Paris and London has been the best international journey. It was very special to me as I got to know more about fashion and also got to make a lot of new friends. We first travelled to Paris, where we stayed at hotel called Ibis and the breakfast provided was yummy. We visited the louvre museum which was one of the best museums I have visited. I gained a lot of inspiration and ideas. We then visited the famous and grand Eiffel Tower. We got to see the Mona Lisa paintings and artwork from different time period. Our next journey from Paris to London was in a ferry. We all enjoyed it. We danced, sang. And played few games in the bus.London was like home to me. In London we got to travel in the bus which helped me to explore the city more. We went to many places like the Camden market which was the best place for a designer to get inspired. It’s a crazy place where you can see a lot of people with punk style. People in this market have their unique style of presenting themselves and are very friendly. I went to Serpentine gallery mainly to see “CATHARSIS “by Jakob Kudsk Steensen, which spoke about the re-imagined old growth of forest, world’s visual ecosystem and synchronised 3D texture and sound gathered from several South America’s forests. We also visited the vintage mark. I had a lot of fun in London, I wish to go back there.LCF taught me to think in a broader perspective of design. The pleasing atmosphere helped me think more and made me feel more creative. Ms. Kerry Pannagio was always encouraging and motivating which made us work harder. I look forward to see where my styling path takes me in the future. I would like to thank JD Institute of Fashion Technology for providing me with the opportunity to study in London college of Fashion. It was a really great experience for me. I have learned many useful tips while studying in London College of Fashion.

The faculty and teaching method of JD Institute for Interiors is so amazing. They give attention to each and every student in our interiors class which is great because it becomes easy to understand and learn with lesser number of students in a batch. Worst college ever, please do not join and waste your time here . I am a student of fashion designing and i had a very bad experience with regard to the teaching facilities . All the staff are rude, No regular classes happen, teachers come as and when they like , there is no system in place . Everything they say is fake. Your just wasting your money

I have completed my Diploma in Makeup Artistry from JD institute of Fashion Technology. Im from the December 2017 batch. The highlight of our program was our mentor. It was a privilege to learn Makeup from one of the most renowned makeup artists in India, Miss Leila Sharma. The program has taught me from the basics of makeup to the advanced levels of bridal and fashion makeup. The course covered every aspect of makeup including the tools, products, color chart, hygiene and much more. It was a 6 weeks course. I gained a lot of knowledge, during the course not only from the syllabus, but also from the 25 years of experience of our mentor Miss Leila Sharma. Other than makeup, we also had practical sessions by visiting faculty relating to nail art, hairstyling, bridal makeup and photography. It was a wonderful experience learning in JD and to be a part of it.

Location- Awesome! The college provides ample opportunities to the students as exposure to the fashion industry. Its networking and name in the world of fashion is the high point of this institution. With events like an internship in London , Fashion weeks , Designer workshops and fashions events, this is the perfect place to study fashion. Its not just a college , its a fashion institute.

Extremely poor level of academics and teaching practices at this college. my siste studies and always complaint, the management will never listen to students and always ignores them. teachers are very poor and not qualified at all to teach

I am a former student of jd institute, and my experience with this college has been pathetic, they do not conduct any classes for students, facilities are not qualified, partial and not they have the caliber to teach students , no workshops or Internships are conducted as promised, talk about placements, they don’t even exist.Please don’t go by what you read on their website ,everything they say,promise is fake, Just as another money making institute which is here to con students. It’s a wonderful opportunity to all the students to be a part of JDADA where I got to show case my designs on ramp and I thank all the Jd faculties for guiding and providing such a great platform .

I started my bsc in apparel design course in JD 3 years ago and its been a wonderful journey till now. I learnt alot about fashion and technology. Bsc in interiors .3 years course . BangaloreWorst managementVery bad faculties. They have no experience in teaching . Teachers keep leaving the collegeThere has been times when One teacher takes care of 2 classes at the same time . They dont finish the portions before the examsNo proper class rooms .gets suffocating many times . Chairs in class make noise the whole dayWashrooms are dirty and unhygenicNo action is taken when complains like this is been told aboutWaste of moneyBecasue they charge only for tuition and that itself is very bad

This is a great place to join but the work is so hectic for one year diploma ,but the modules are scheduled in a great way ,that we have a clear brief like a advanced diploma course.

I feel joining this institute is one of the best decisions of my life. As a class representative i am still unable to identify the student , we do have different committees and grievance cell to sort out all of this, requesting you to come and meet either of us personally for the same.And also as per the expenditures there is no such thing as to how much we have to spend ,it is our decision to spend how much ever the project would be needed and college has nothing to do with this, as they are just trying to give us a platform to showcase our talent

This is an amazing institute to learn make-up and hair and the fashion. I had an amazing journey. Although we have got only one month as a duration. It just a matter number but the amount of techniques, current trends and other information we get its just amazing. Learning here is a money worth. I wish we had more duration to learn more and more.
