Well, one of the few good vegetarian buffet, sorry, sattvic cuisines in Bangalore...I have been a regular visitor here before pandemic.. was really missing the food.. the spread across starters, vegetables, breads, desserts really good and tasty too.. kids would love the pasta or the noodles alongside...a must visit for those who look for good vegetarian spread...missed out to indicate that these foods dont contain onions or garlic in their preparation...yet, taste so good ...just cant make out.. one would wonder !! I liked the ambience too..very clean...certainly recommend..you would like it..

One of the elite vegetarian dine in restaurants of the city. On an expensive side. Maintaining all the covid-19 related norms. We tried Lucknowi chat which was good. Absolute waste of money , they was no sign of hospitality - I visited the place with high expectation on 7th Oct evening with entire family and it turned to be a disaster , restaurant had got hardly few tables occupied still the staff were not able to attend to the customers , we had to call them minimum 5 times to even take the order or even to fill the water . with such high menu cost the expectation would be at a different level which dose not even match a roadside resturant , even the food was not to the expectation the kulchas were half baked and Pizza was the same . most of the menu items were not available we had take what they told was available. not sure how is it with others but I would truly never recommend to anybody

It all started with reading reviews of this restaurant & it took one year to visiit the place due to lockdown.Last Monday has i started for lunch had this doubt back of my mind, is it really worth going to the other end of the city for a meal based on reviews. Then as i entered the place, it was so warm & welcoming with a soothing ambience, background music of Krishnas love flowing. As I started dining realized it was one of the finest choice have made realted to food, hygenic taste rich serving filled with love with a specific interesting menu.We ordered pizza, bakri roti, roti, papadi chaat, afgani biryani, paneer tandoori, kofta, tender coconut pasasam, icecream and was not ready to stop it was like total indulging in food, wherein the staff was kind enough to suggest it may get too much so can check and order. The dishes were so yummy especially the tender coconut pasasam literally put us into food trance, even the paneer quality, papadi chaat is awesome.Would have preferred softer koftas but then everything was so amazing looking for more perfection would have been unfair on our part😀Price range was also worth the quality of dishes prepared with pure ghee & the portion served.Me & family enjoyed, the icing was the service part, Mr Naveen G Manager checking on guests & Mr. Rakesh who served our table & the other couldnt ask the name were amazing.Thank you so much all of you, including the chefs for making our dining so memorable & lovable. So my experience with this place has been awesome making me write a big review from heart and recommend to my friends who are looking for a place of quality food prepared with trust & love.,Which makes us feel lighter even after eating.Looking forward to visit again.

Located on the Hare Krishna Hill, next to the well-known ISKCON temple, parking is not an issue at all. There is ample place around the restaurant or in the temple premises even on the weekends. This place is spread across 2 floors, mainly divided for buffet and a-la-carte. I have never tried the buffet here, however I have heard it is really good and totally worth the price.I have been here multiple times and have had most of the dishes on their menu. Had been hearing about THT from many people and in many discussions and hence a visit was pending for a long time. Especially considering the Only Vegetarian theme. So, decided to book a table as a surprise for Wifes birthday lunch. We entered with lots of expectations. The spread was decent and varied from N.Indian, S.Indian, Continental and then some more.As most have mentioned, the broccoli soup was heavenly. But we were disappointed with the starters and the main course. I know that the food is Satvik and does not make use of onions and garlic. But for some reason, it failed to appease my taste buds. The starters were already cold except the Masala Vada which managed to hold its fort. The only exception in the main course was the Mirch ki Kadhi, which really tasted good. The rest all very just about the taste I would expect from any other buffet dining.Service felt slow as they appeared to be understaffed considering a week day.Overall Ive rated it a 3/5.It does have that novelty of being inside the temple premises with the modern chanting music running in the background. But then for a fine dining, its just another option to look, for me.

Starters were not hot, soup didnt taste good, most of the Curry was not tasty. 👎2. Food option - Less compared to may other places including Sattvam (similar restaurant )👎no chats..3. Janmashtami TreatBeing devotees of Lord Krishna, we visited the Iskcon temple during Janmashtami. Now it turned out that the Higher Taste restaurant is hosting a Janmashtami festival. The buffet has many dishes made of curd and milk & many items are named after Lord Krishna’s life. Like the Devanagari ka shorba which is a mildly spiced soup. The frequency of the rains has made a drop in temperature. So we loved mixed vegetable bajjis, crisp & hot. Mathura samosa is small, but these small bites are delightful. My co-diner felt Vasudev vada made for another interesting appetizer. This is a Sabhudana vada, much loved for its crispness.Sabhudana Thalipeeth in the live counter caught lot of attention. It’s tasty & also because so many households fast during this festival. A must try is the Dahi gujiya because of the urad dal, thick curd and tamarind combo. The starters section itself has a generous spread. Yet, moving on we headed to the main course.Aloo aur naspati ki subzi makes for a nice side dish along with rotis as much as Raval ki bhajji. Many diners opted for the Kunj Bihari kofta, which are soft koftas in thick greens gravy. Lovely, you can eat it by itself. The dahi in the gatte makes the dahi gatte so different.Kichadi is bhog, my co-diner explained. So the barsana ki Kichadi was welcoming. An all time favourite is the Gauranga potato. And why not, considering this bake packs in potatoes, herbs and butter. There are also regulars like the akki roti and nei pappu. Even the home style tomato rasam is comforting. Same can be said of simple dishes like pudhina shavige.Don’t miss the dessert especially the unniappam or sweet rice fritters which is great. A dollop of shakkarkand halwa is heavenly. Particular mention of the thick Kheer. When you make it so thick, the sugar content is a compromise sometimes. But here it’s all blended so beautifully. In all, this food festival has a wonderful spread. The restaurant has made every effort to give the feel of the festival. Dahi handis and colourful veils adorn the place. The floral doorway gives a welcoming feel.Kavitha

Quick service with attention to detail. Elegant decor, including the customized plates, I found the design very interesting :), and most importantly, deliciously satisfying food. For a place serving indian cuisine without onion and garlic, they have kept their menu varied enough to tempt the palette, with the quantity of food provided doing some justice for the price. (While on the pricier side, compared to other restaurants serving food at the same price range, I would say this one was worth it, when in a group of 4 or more). Their charges for parceling food seemed to be disproportionately higher, as the rate on the parcel menu factors in a delivery charge. However, they did have a provision for dine in rates, if there was no delivery involved. If you are in the area, this is definitely a place to stop at, specially if in a group of 4 or more. Hope they keep up the standard :)
