Taiki, has Amazing Food Quality and Taste πŸ˜‹πŸ›. We had Thai Pot (RedπŸ’) in Coconut Milk with Chicken, Korean Ramen with Chicken - All time Favourite, Japanese Ramen with Sliced Chicken, General TSO Chicken with Sliced Eggs and Laksa Noodle Bowl with Turmeric Flavour and Sliced Eggs and Chicken. All came with good portion for One person to eat per plate. Best part was that none of the dishes tasted similar and each was Unique and easy to digest... Worth visiting frequently.RegardsAseem Mishra

Yasai RamenThe foods that were more of a miss than hit:Kaido Iwai no Aka (Shochu)Uramaki Asparagus Tofu Roll (Might have tasted better if we were hungry when we had this)Things can get a bit pricey if you dont have Dineout Passport. Although it was worth every penny and more.If you desperately want to try out Japanese or Korean food, this place is a must-go! Beware of the wasabi!

Few key points that people should know before u choose to eat here.1) Very small parking space (approx 6 bikes) so if ur 7th then u will have to go and park somewhere else.2) Compact dining space, they have 2 floor seating. Tables are squeezed in a very small space.3) Lot of veg and non veg options. I have tried korean spicy ramen veg. Broth and all was tasty however it was not served hot enough.4) I visited restro around 2.30pm thinking the crowd would be less, however it was almost full, so reserve a table and be on time. We dont know how crowded it could be in evening.5) Food is served quickly.

They refused to give us chopsticks saying they didnt have any in stock and proceeded to give chopsticks to everyone else who came after us. A few days ago my friends and I visited this place. We ordered Tantanmen and Japchae, it looked good but it wasnt as flavorful as we had expected it to be, tofu didnt taste good and Japchae was saved only by chicken chunks in it, have to say we were disappointed. Im giving this place 3 stars because the staff was nice and polite and also it was my first time trying East-Asian cuisine so I had too high expectations from it.

Decent Japanese place in the heart of Indiranagar.. What strikes you immediately is how efficiently they have utilised the space that they have available with a loft like structure to set more people..we ordered the prawn tempura sushi, chicken dimsums, chicken ramen and lamb bibimbap.. the dimsums where the best of the lot with the ramen coming in at a close second.. not much of a sushi fan but I would still consider it good..bibimbap was a tad bit disappointing though.. overall a cosy little place of youre craving decent Japanese.. However it is far off from what you would call authentic Japanese

The food is very instagram worthy. Very beautiful presentation. But when it comes to taste, its so.. so..The dumplings were not freshly made. Sushi was ok at the best. The one that made me the most mad was, basil fried rice. I wish it was made with jasmine rice as its supposed to be. It was like a roadside Chinese fried rice. Nothing wrong about that though, but it was not a basil fried rice. I was disappointed. The good thing about this place was the desert. It was very good. They had done a very good job of it.

To begin with I tried the Chicken katsu bao and the soft shell crab and basil Bao which were delightful indeed, super flavourful and completely loaded. They also have a very unique lions head dumpling which are chicken meatballs with spicy chilli garlic and bokchoy, so if youre a weight watcher but want to have dimsums but want to avoid the flour-this is what you should pick.Coming to the highlight, the uramaki cheese California roll which is an inside our sushi is a total delight again and you can choose between black sesame seeds toppings or crispy fried golden onion. Even if youre a vegetarian they have plenty of options in Vegetarian sushi as well and taiki truly has redefined how people look and think of sushi. To end the meal, I tried the crispy chocolate noodles with ice cream which was perfect to end the meal with.

Taiki, which literally translates to great or big, opened back its doors with proper sanitization measures in place and I went in to enjoy the delectable Korean and Japanese cuisine it has to offer.Ambiance: The place has a bit unique narrow lane kind of seating style decked with wooden tables and chairs. Its clean, chic and comfortable. The staff was wearing masks , temperature check and hand sanitization was done at the entrance.FOOD: I enjoyed a plethora of dishes ranging from sushi to dimsums to ramen. Read on below to understand whatyou can expect whenever you visit the outlet.Salads : In salads, we had the som tam and larb gai salads. Som tam had shredded raw papaya with a spicy dressing and peanuts.Β  Larb Gai is popular in Laos and Thailand and it had browned ground chicken with basil, onions and a dressing of chilli and lime. Both the salads were really appetizing and a perfect beginning to the meal.Sushi : Tried various kinds of sushi like asparagus and tofu roll, crabstick maki roll, spicy tuna maki and panko shiitake roll. Really enjoyed all of them. The flavours were banging.Dumplings: Next in line were one of my favourites dishes, dumplings. Tried the mushroom and edamame one, another with corn and chestnut, spicy prawn and lion head dumplings coated with spinach. I was totally bowled over by the lion head dumplings. Do not miss it.Steamed Baos :Β  Enjoyed some scrumptious steamed baos like fried aubergine, sweet and sour tofu , chicken katsu and sambal shrimp.Tebasaki : Japanese style chicken wings coated with honey and sesame. They were a bit too sweet to my liking.Tangy Tofu Cups : Tofu, water chestnuts and scallion served in an open wanton cup and dressed with a tangy sauce. A delicious bite sized appetizer.Sichuan Chilli Fish : The name tells you everything. A delight for the fish fans.Ramen Noodle Bowl : Ramen noodles in a hot broth with bok choy, spring onion, chicken, broccoli , shiitake mushrooms and egg. It was deliciously mild in flavours and made me feel all cozy and comforting, like on a wintry night.Bingsu : Its a popular snowflake Korean dessert made with milk shavings and a choice of topping along with ice cream.Β  We had lychee as the topping. It was absolutely yummy and finished in a jiffy. Couldnt be a better way to end the meal.Overall, I loved my experience here. The food is fantastic and one must visit and try out the unique flavours they have to offer. Would be visiting again soon. Sayonara.

Overall, a mixed experience. If I do come back, it will be solely for the food. Visited on Valentines Day. Called in advance to make a reservation but was told that there would be seating and that no reservation was required. However, upon arrival, there was only one small table right next to the door. Eventually ended up taking someone elses seat when they got up to leave. But the food made up for this off-colour first impression. Delicious, presented nicely, hygienic, high quality ingredients, and perfect portion sizes for the price in my opinion. Music choice was a bit unusual - seemed more fitting for a nightclub than a Pan Asian restaurant: repetitive, deep pulsing house music. The volume wasnt over the top though, so it wasnt as bothersome as it could have been. As for ambience and dΓ©cor, an effort has been made to be slightly unique, but it isnt enough to impress or make a big impression. However, the narrowness of the restaurant is certainly interesting and gives it a bit of character. Felt 50% cozy, 50% claustrophobic, the latter probably being due in part to the music choice as well as the unusually large number of guests. Staff interactions were mixed - most seemed shy/introverted, although the manager/senior staff member was friendly and helpful.

Right next to the KTM showroom is this cute japanese, korean and asian fusion restaurant. Taiki is such a quite and cosy little place in 100ft road,Indiranagar. This Asian fusion place has amazing decor and is definitely my first choice for an asian delight lunch. We started off with some fabulous saladsβ€’Larb Gai - which was my personal favourite. Basically this is a spiced chickem salad filled with chillies and dressed with lemon. Absolutely love how this salad has the perfect balance of spice and tang ( and goes perfectly with a glass of rice wine)β€’ Som Tam Salad - mainly made of shreded raw papaya, and tossed in spice. Its amazing how something we would usually never eat raw can taste delicious. This salad also had a ton of crushed peanuts which gives a really cruchy and wholesome feel to it.Talking about the starters at Taiki, now I couldnt honestly eat the lions head dumplings all day long. These dumplings are meatballs with spicy chili garlic and bokchoy. If you are visiting this place, these dumplings are a must try!β€’ The corn chestnut and spinach dumplings & the Mushroom and Edamame dumplings and not only yummy but also soo insta-worthy.We tried two different Baos as well - Fried Tofu Bao, which is fried in a sweet and sour sauce and placed in between soft and fluffy Bao buns; and the Korean Lamb cutlet which is more on the sweeter side. Our starters also included the Sichuan chilli fish, which was completely different from the regular deep fried fish that we find anywhere else. One of the speciality of this place according to me is their shumai/ maki rolls.β€’ Taiwanese Prawn shumai - this was my personal favourite. The rolls were not too sticky and the prawns were seasoned with a mild spice that just made it so delicious.β€’ Uramaki avacado and mango roll - this is an inside out roll that not only looks amazing but tastes delicious too.β€’Uramaki Rainbow roll - this is definitely the most eye catching fish I have seen. This is again an inside out maki roll topped with slices of assorted tuna and salmon. I would definitely recommend this if you are comfortable eating raw fish.My recommendation for mains would definitely be the spicy ground chicken Tantanmen noodle. This is a Japanese version of Dandan Noodles with soy and sesame broth and vegetables. The broth is quite creamy and the thin noodles just make this soupy noodles the star of the meal. Finally on to desserts,I have wanted to try Bingsu for a long time now and Im pleased to say that it was yummier than I expected it to be. Made with Korea shaved flavoured ice. This is a definite MUST TRY for all dessert lovers!!We tried the crispy chocolate noodles with icecream, and date and chocolate cigar rolls both were not as amazing as the Bingsu but still pretty good.

I had the most horrifying experience here. Trust me its the most terrible restaurant Ive been to. Starting from the food which was not even close to good, the quantity was so less and the taste was not upto mark. Its all about the presentation. Coming to the bill, theyve found the most innovative way to take tips from us without even asking and thats called service charge which was nearly 300 ( I couldve ordered one more dish for that price). I had ordered lime soda which was pathetic and too expensive (nearly 200).If the food was good I wouldve been fine with the price. Overall it is not worth it guys, even if you got fat pockets I would never recommend this place and Im dead serious.

Its a decent and small Japanese place in the heart of Indiranagar. i justtt ordered the dessert Oreo Cocolate Bingsu, tasted pretty good. What strikes you immediately is how efficiently they have utilised the space that they have available with a loft like structure to set more people.Overall a cosy little and pretty for decent Japanese dishes...Would definitely go back there to try more dishes.

Taiki is a new Asian restaurant on 100ft road that packs quite a punch with what they have managed to do with such a small space. And yes, they serve great food too.Ambience: (5/5)From the moment I entered, I was shocked at how narrow this place actually is, but what makes it even more intriguing is the fact that they still managed to add so many tables whole ensuring that there is a certain calm vibe to the space. Love the attention to detail starting with the choice colour to the artwork on the walls to the lighting. It all comes perfectly well together to provide a unique experience.Food: (5/5)I love sushi and it’s probably clear why I walked in here post looking at the menu. I ordered the tuna sushi which was extremely well made. The ingredients were all fresh and came quite well together. It does seem to be one of the better places for sushi I have found on 100 ft road. All in all the food here is good and worth a try. It is also extremely well priced for the quantity and quality of the food.Summary: (5/5)Great food and an interesting and fun ambience. Taiki is a great place to enjoy a good meal on 100 ft road.

Nice, cosy place. Food is really nice, and the staff is friendly. You get good sake here too!Though the tiny and narrow decor fits with the theme, music is completely off. This, and the lack of regular water, is the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5.I love the sushi here

This pan Asian food house will make you crave for more. The small but humble restaurant offers best in class dishes from all over asia. Be it classic japanese tempura or Korean gimbap. Taste the best of dishes like tamago, pad thai, ramen, bao buns, sushi and other pan asian classics. The desserts are a cherry to the cake. Always thought Asian food was bland? Bust that myth here in taiki. With great service, courteas staff and great food. Whats not to like?

After a Long time I got to taste Authentic Japanese & Korean Delicacies thanks to TaikiIt is a Japanese Restaurant located in Indiranagar. The Interior was plush & the background music sets the mood right. This place has two stories sitting arrangementsThe Delicacies that Ive tried and would recommend are;πŸ’₯Soft Shell Crab and Basil BaoπŸ’₯Uramaki Rainbow Roll (inside out maki roll topped with slices of tuna and salmon)πŸ’₯Seafood and chilli oil Gyoza (steamed)(Japanese style is dumplings or potstickers filled with seafood)πŸ’₯Larb Gai(A popular Dish in Laos and Rural Thailand, salad with mince chicken, lemon and chillies )πŸ’₯Sake (Japanese Rice Wine)πŸ’₯Korean Dangmyeon Noodles with Prawns (Korean style Glass noodles)πŸ’₯Nam Prik Chicken ( Thai sauce with chillies, palm jaggery and umami flavours because of shrimp paste)πŸ’₯Japanese cheese cake (Japanese style sponge cake which is less sweet and low in calories)

Food that you get here is very different from taste that we Indians are used to. Most of the people from my team had similar thoughts about the food. People who are into K-pop or j-pop may actually like food here, I am not sure even about that though πŸ˜„

I would like to rate this restuarent entirely based on food. The variety of Asian cuisines they have and how each of them tastes really well and authentic. Tried a variety of dishes there and everyone of them was satisfying the taste buds. Place is small compared to comfort but well managed.

With the thought of trying a whole different cuisine, I went over with my friends. This place is a squeezed up place with beautiful, warm, and good vibed decor. Staff was sweet, warm, and courteous..Got to say, food was mind blowing regarding quality and quantity..We ordered:Salad:Watercress Avocado salad:A must try salad, those flavours and combinations of strawberries, avocados, watercress, greenssss. This will refresh you up..Broccoli, water chestnuts and Tofu Gyoza (pan fried)(Japanese style is dumplings or potstickers):So delicate and mind blowing! Must have. Couldn’t have enough of these..Fried Tofu in sweet and sour sauce Bao (Chinese steamed bread rolls):These soft baos with fried tofu, and that combo of sweet and sour bao was star dish for my dinner..Uramaki Avocado and Mango Roll (inside out maki roll):You have to be joking, if you say you are going to a Japanese outlet and won’t try maki roll. This is a must try and worth it!.Water chestnuts and shiitake mushroom stir fry-One of my friends is allergic to mushroom so we asked to replace it to something good and guess what they replaced mushrooms with broccoli. Thank you!Now coming to the taste, this was good. Also quantity wise, share it, sharing is caring. Also after eating all that, sharing was best option!.Desserts:Matcha Crepe (Crepe made with Japanese Matcha tea):Dessert couldn’t get better! It was all matcha! No extra sugar, just cream and matcha and that softness. It won’t crack up, but the lightness, and bust of taste is so good that you will feel like you can’t have enough.

The food is nice. But they served a wrong dish twice. A bottle of water is on the table, but they did not give a glass despite reminders. Drank the water straight from the bottle. The waiter who took the order seemed to have a chip on his shoulder.

I was sceptical about going to this restaurant seeing the seemingly very exotic menu, but decided to be adventurous after all and went with a friend of mine. On walking in, we were quite surprised at how small and narrow the place is. Its most definitely not suited for a group bigger than 4 people. Its probably ideal for a date or so. Being thoroughly confused by the menu, we asked the waiter for help and found that hes the most honest person Ive met! The man told us exactly what he likes and dislikes about the dishes. We went on to order the Philadelphia Maki and the Bul Dak for starters. Having never had sushi before, I dont know how its supposed to taste. But the Maki was rather interesting with a bit of cheese and all. We loved the Bul Dak! We also ordered a plate of Chicken Katsu Bao and Phad Thai. Both were really good. While the baos were rather small for the price, the Phad Thai was plenty. The only annoying thing was getting the waiters attention because of how narrow the restaurant is. The prices too are quite premium but with Zomato Pro its decent. Would definitely recommend going here if youre into Asian food and are in a group less than 5!!
