Lovely Pan Asian dining experience, we loved their dumplings, the sake poached ones being the best. Tiger prawns in Xo sauce, Sushi platters and some good old tempura added to the happiness. Show stopper was the Thai Curry and sticky rice. Desserts were average though.

Crunchy, chunky vegetables in zesty flavour and flavorful wontons proved to be a great start to the meal. CrispyToragashi spinach tempura drizzled with soy sauce is a refreshing combination. The presentation is the sushi platter is unique. Maki, Uramaki and Nigiri are well-prepared. I would recommend schezwan spicy chicken for the main course. Hot basil wok tossed chicken tastes well withchilly garlic noodles. We opted for hot chocolate rolls with vanilla sauce. It is a classic dessert baked to perfection. The preparation of wasabi cheesecake is perfect. The staff at Shao ensures a great experience.

Shao means “less” in English and also it is 86th most populous name in China. Not sure what reference can be drawn here with regards to name of this place. I missed out on stay in this hotel coz it was full and so had to settled to hotel in nearby area, very little did I know that I would be coming here for lunch soon, had visitors at office so Saturday lunch becomes mandatory. We hogged a lot, in soup we had Wanton and Kaffir Lime Chicken soup, it comes with clear broth and possibly the best I had.In appetisers we had Togarishi Spinach Tempura, it was crisp and it didn’t taste bitter at all.Honey Chilli Lotus stem was something on my bucket list and it didn’t disappoint at allFlaky Angels Hair Prawn was nice but bunch of vermicelli was a turn offSichuan Spicy Chicken was really nice with chicken being tender, I was told the chillies are exported from outside.Prawns Sichuan and Prawns fried rice for main course were amazing again. Ordered rice separately. In desserts Red Velvet deco cake and wasabi cheese cake deserve a special mention.Ambience: This is newly renovated and you see hues of red across this place which gives it an oriental look. The set up is not that huge but is spacious. The kitchen is visible coz it is separated by a glass wall.Service is quick and servers were courteous. Top notch service is what you expect from such places and it doesn’t disappoint a bit.Valet Parking is available which goes without saying.Value for Money: Pretty reasonable considering it’s part of five star hotel and best part is you can use Zomato Gold as well on food.My Take: This is possibly the best Chinese restaurant here in Bangalore. The big corporate houses in this area makes it one of the best places to have your meals with corporate clients, not that you can’t go there with your family.

Shao is a tastefully laid out dining area 👌👌 . Very soft on the eye asian touch ... nothing glaring or overbearing.Writing about the few dishes that I absolutely loved.  Though everything that was served had many positives 😊Kaffir Lime and lemon soup :  Kaffir lime was a first for me . The super light broth with wontons  was uplifting .. my only complaint is that it was filling 😂😂.Tom Kha veg soup : Many thanks to the chef for making this on-demand.  This light coconut milk and lemon grass concoction was a delight😍 !!! The best I have tasted in India in the past many years👌Togarshi spinach tempura : The closest in  desi parlance is palak pakora!!! 😂 Served as a good snack with the many accompanying sauces/pastesPanko Black pepper tofu:  smooth tofu triangles with crispy outer was a novelty. Enjoyed it with the   red chilli sauce.Smoked veg fried rice  + Asian greens with water chestnut : Above standard delectable combination.Exceptional ambience , some great pan-asian fare make this a must visit. Great for dates , families and small groups 👍

Shao – Set amidst a beautiful ambiance with shades of red all over, a decor that takes one to land of Buddha and a lighting so subtle that makes dining at this Pan-Asian restaurant in Radisson Blu Bengaluru, a fantastic experience to cherish !Reminiscing a relaxing lunch with friends started off with Wonton and Kaffir Lime Chicken Soup. The Aromatic soothing broth was soulful especially with my throat troubling me !With the variety of starters in the menu, one will be spoilt for choices. Red Cabbage Prawn Dimsums was one of the signature dishes on offer and definitely stands out as a signature ! Water chestnut and asparagus add that perfect balance and is melt in the mouthSesame Baked Treasure Vegetable – Laminated Asian dough wrapped over that surprise treasure filling of veggies. The bite size portions have a generous filling with a flavor profile that is delicious.Flaky Angels Hair Prawn – Another signature dish with that presentation living up to its name. Prawns marinated with Asian Condiments wrapped in home made vermicelli was my favorite ! The garlic sweet chilli sauce adds that balance nicely when one dips that fried vermicelli in it – crunchy and delicious !Not many places make Potstickers, Shao is one of them. Tried the chicken variant, succulent well marinated pounded chicken, was light on the palate and wiped off in no time.On to the mains, with the rest of the folks on the table being vegetation, we had more dishes from the non-meat section. From the vegetarian dishes, tried the Kung Pao EggPlant and Bok Choy & Mushroom. Diced eggplant in Kung Pao sauce always works. If I am not eating non-veg, mushroom is my alternative so works well to.Wok Tossed Chicken made up for the non–vegetarian craving. Had the mains with Smoked Vegetable Fried Rice and Pad Thai Noodles. High on taste and a happy tummy !Desserts for that sweet ending not one but threeWasabi Cheese Cake – Wasabi in a Cheese Cake was new for me, was expecting a burst in the mouth but it was not to be, very light presence. The aerated texture could have been better for that perfect Cheesecake experience.Hot Chocolate Rolls – Not a chocolate person, but for folks who love Chocolate – this will rank up there with the vanilla sauce to dip inBanana Fritters with Coconut Ice-cream – Loved the coconut Ice-cream, again not a fritters person though. It’s going to be a personal preference.Overall this restaurant is sure to satisfy all your pan-Asian cravings. Service is top notch. Parking is not an issues as this is part of the Radisson Blu hotel in Marathahalli, Bangalore. Recommended !

If you love Asian food, have want to go to a place which serves a variety of Asian dishes, Shao is the place you should be at.A host of dishes available on their menu with a delectable choice of Sushi Platter or the Sushi Boat. For all you pan-asian needs, go through menu below which highlights all the specialities...The dishes we tried:1.Tapioca Crackers2. Kimchi3. Steamed salted peanutsDrinks:-1. Strawberry Diaquiri2. Black Magic3. Kiwi Envy4. Kiwi-cranberry fizzAll mocktails were equally good and really well prepared, but the Black Magic just stood out. Perfectly mixed drink, made with cola and lots of crushed ice to soothe you down.Soups1. Bok Choy and Prawn Soup - Im not really a fan of Soup, but this one was so fragrant and flavourful that it was just irresistible, its more like a broth and had all the right seasonings which made it a delicious treat.Starters:-1.Non Veg Assorted Sushi - The sushi boat is delight for every sushi lover eyes, a beautiful way to serve an assortment of variety of sushis.2. Pork Shao Mai3. Barbequed Pork Ribs4. Kung Pao ChickenThese dishes will satiate every meatlovers tastebuds, the pork ribs despite having any fat on it was cooked perfectly, tearing out the meat was no effort at all.The kung pao chicken and the pork shao mai were equally well prepared and tasty.Sorbet:-Coconut Sorbet - Served after the first course of meal, really creamy and smooth, freshly prepared and served.Main course1.Green Chicken Thai Curry2. Jasmine RiceThis is a majestic combination, Aromatic Jasmine rice with Chicken thai green curry. The curry goes really good with the rice and is a must try if your looking to try a complete meal.3. Sichuan Garlic Prawns4. Chilli Garlic Noodles5. Guangdong Beef - The meat is was cooked really tender and was not at all chewy, for the limited crowd which looks for this meat.6. Asian Green VegetablesDessert:-1. Date Pancake2. Death by ChocolateShao, offers an exclusive number of dishes in the Pan-asian cuisine, all the meat options are really well curated but vegetarians wouldnt be dissapointed either.

Well, my appentency towards Pan Asian delicacy has brought me to this place. Shao a place where you could expect premium modern Chinese ambiance with undoubtedly delicious food.Recently, Shao has underwent renovation and came out with its new looks. Seating could accommodate approximately 60 ppl. Service is quick and staff are courteous. I was there with a couple of friends to relish their Pan Asian delicacies. Take a look at what I have tasted there👉Kafir lime soup :A wonderful soup to start your meal with! It has an intense aroma of lemon grass. The consistency of soup is watery and loaded with veggies. It tasted great.👉Red cabbage prawn dimsum :Firstly I would the thought behind the dish. Due to the red cabbage the dimsum looked purple in colour. The moment you see it, you would love to have it. The prawn stuff inside is cooked perfectly.👉Thai grilled prawn :This starter goes really well with drinks. The marination is done perfectly with adequate amount of spices. The flavour of spice is well balanced and would definitely suits your palate.👉Flaky hair angel prawn :This is their signature dish. As the name connotes, prawn is threaded and deep fried. When you bite it, you could feel the crisp. Tasted good and a must try.👉Nasi goreng :It literally means fried rice in Indonesian. This Indonesien dish is well presented. The chicken fried rice is accompanied by omelette and chicken skewers. The chicken pieces are tender and delicious. This dish is mediumly spiced. What a delightful experience it was! If you want to enjoy authentic pan asian delicacies, I would highly recommend it.

If you are looking for some amazing Pan Asian foods and wants to pamper yourself with fine dine, Shao is the place. They have redecorated the entire place, and now it has light red themed decore. I came here for dinner, and the lights were just perfect for a nice meal.I started my dinner with their Kafir Lime soup, which was really soothing and appetizing. Their signature dimsum, Red Cabbage Prawns are treat to eyes, and you must eat it hot. If you are looking for a vegetarian options, do try their Baby Spinach Har Gow: It is basically a bao with baby spinach and hearbs as its filling.I had Pot Stickers for the first time and it is really interesting, very plain yet delicious item. If you are comfortable with Tiger Prawns, do try their Thai grilled prawns- it is sumptuous. In main course, I took Chicken Sticky Rice served in lotus leaf. You will require some side with this, so order accordingly. Their Pan Grilled Chicken sizzler is good too and the way of presenting keeps your chicken sizzling until you eat.Overall, I had very delicious & sumptuous meal and enjoyed the ambience as well. With all these items I was full, so could not try their desserts. So, until my next visit, do try these options and let me know your experiences.

Well it’s no secret that south East Asian cuisine is my favourite & I recently visited Shao, the Pan Asian restaurant in Radisson Blu to savour the items from their newly revamped menu.We kicked off the tasting with A Delicious Bowl Of Lemon Coriander Soup. This Version was perfectly balanced, between the sharpness of the coriander & sourness of the lemon, it was the second best I had in Bangalore. The assorted vegetarian Sushi was just right, subdued, fresh, but stark flavours hitting you well, & a nice kick from the dipping. But somehow I found the wasabi very under powering, that’s something the restaurant need to look at, maybe. The Sichuan Mushrooms were absolutely delicious, string Sichuan flavours, with a tinge Of Mushroom flavours retained, very much loved it.The vegetarian Dim Sum was not very spectacular, but delicious momos made right, not too dry or rubbery. The accompanies green pepper sauce was a perfect pair for these momos. The Fried Rice & Chilli Garlic Noodles were nice, similar to many chain restaurants, did not stand out for me, unfortunately. But what stood out for me in the mains was the beautifully cooked jasmine rice & one of the best Thai Green Curry Vegetarian. It had all the right elements, the Kaaffir Lime leaves, Thai basil, lemongrass, and maybe galangal. But such beautifully sweet and spicy curry, absolute delight and won my heart, checked all the boxes. Highly recommend this for anyone heading anywhere close to the restaurant.Desserts were delightful, the date pancake was wonderful, with the sesame seed coating, adding the right crunch. The fresh fruit roll was a mildly warm spring roll, filled with julienned chill fresh fruits, an interesting & tasty combo, that beautifully paired well with mango Icecream. The Death By Chocolate was an average dessert, that tasted just ok, the ice cream however was a little off for me.Overall a wonderful place for Pan Asian in Marathahalli, found the Thai dishes to have a slightly higher edge over the other cuisines, the Thai Green Curry is a must try.

Had been to Shao on a Saturday afternoon. The ambience is absolutely breathtaking. Very sophisticated but also very authentically Chinese. The food did not disappoint either. They have a huge selection of pan asian dishes. Started off with the Chicken wonton and kafir lime soup and it was absolutely smashing. Bold yet comforting with a good hit of lime to brighten it up. Moved on to trying a couple of their starters. The spinach tempura with togarashi spice is a must have. The flaky angel hair prawns could do with a little less of the crunchy noodles. The red cabbage chicken dumplings was just about alright. Mains were Hunan Spiced Lamb and Hot basil chicken, chilly garlic noodles and smoked veg fried rice. Loved the chicken, lamb was alright, so were the rice and noodles. The desserts were really creative and plated like art. Hot Chocolate rolls, wasabi cheesecake and chocolate mousse infused with kafir lime were on order. Cheesecake could do with being a little lighter. Overall a very fulfilling meal. Quite authentic.
