They serve dishes from all three parts of Telugu land and also furnished likewise, the paintings are of Tolu Bommalu aata or puppets from Rayalaseema, decorated with Kondapalli Bommalu or Dolls from Kondapalli and the cuision covers are Telangana Handicrafts.Coming to the food, they serve you Karivepaku rasam or a Rasam made with curry leaves and pepper which is strong in flavour, substituted with a soup. The starters ordered are Guntur Chicken which had an amazing flavour of Green Chilli and Guntur chilli with a dash of citrus. Kandi Podi Kodi is one amazing dish where boneless chicken is marinated along with Kandi Podi and this hits your spicy pallet. Chilli Chicken wings stole my heart which is soft and amazing.For main course, we had a Veg and Non Veg Thali. This Telugu Thali shows the perfection in a Telugu meal consisting of Pulihora, Talimpu, Pulusu, Pappu rasam and Sambar, curd, payasam, allam Chutney accompanied by White rice or Annam, Chapati and papad. I can bet that each and every dish is upto the mark!! I personally became a fan of their Gongura Pappu 😋 The non veg has kebabs and Kodi Kura included along the regular fare. Ulavacharu Biryani with Cream or meegada is a beautifully curated dish, this dish will make you fall in love with Telugu cuisine all over again. Nalla Bokkala Kura with white rice is a Telangana dish where mutton bone marrow is used to make a curry and we can eat it with rice, this is a popular dish in Telangana.For Dessert, one cannot miss the Double Ka Meetha, which has Perfection with bread and milk.

Food was amazing!!! Liked the decors and place was quiet, cozy and welcoming. However, the waiters arent well trained and they have NO idea about the menu. We landed up ordering the gravy assuming it would include rice as well. In the slightest of the doubts you might have, double check with someone else before ordering. The Potato Fry starter and Hot Jamoon dessert topped everything! Worth visiting again!

If you have seen my earlier report from my adventures in Arakku, Andhra is a very generous place when it comes to food and it showed in here as well.What we wolfed?Karvepaku Rasam - Nicely done... Great start. Tangy and the hit of pepper gets those saliva glands working for the subsequent dishes.Guntur Chicken - A little stray away from the traditional raw hit of chillies to have a bigger hit from pepper. It was spicy AF and my favourite here.Kandi Podi Kodi - Chicken tossed in the famous andhra lentil powder. Nice but a litle toned down compared to the Guntur chickenAvakaya Paneer - Paneer chunks marinated in mango (avakaya) pickles.. My kind of veg dish. :DAndhra Chilli Wings - A version of the now popular andhra chilli chicken... The raw hit of chillies will clear your sinus and if you feel your ears getting warm, you are probably smoking through the ears.. Lovely, just lovelyGongura Pappu - Cant go wrong with this one... Its what they do as easy as breathingUlvacharu Biryani - Biryani with the traditional Andhra ullavacharu. On another foodies tip, added a bit of cream and this was great but reduced the potency of the biryani. I like mine HOT which it was to an extent.Did not try the dessert.All in all a memorable experience. Will go back for more.

When it comes to Andhra cuisine, we have very less and specific options to choose from in Bengaluru. When I was looking for an untried restaurant, my friend had suggested me to pay a visit to Samaikya.This restaurant is located in HSR layout with a cozy ambience which could accommodate 80 folks approximately. The theme of ambiance projects telugu culture.I initiated my meal with tomato and peanut rasam which was quite aromatic and absolutely delicious. Chamadumpa vepudu is one of the starters which I liked most. Colacasia pieces are deep fried with sufficient masala which turned out to be a perfect dish to start your meal with.Telangana lollypop is definitely a must try. It has the intense flavour of masala and chicken is also cooked to perfection. Being an andrite, I expect gongura pappu to be tasty at every andhra restaurant as it is one of our signature dishes. I was satisfied with the taste at Samaikya. Their gongura pappu and ghee are just amazing.Bommidayala pulusu was good but could be better. Pomfret fry was absolutely delightful with adequate amount of spices.Kubhani ka meeta was the last item of my meal. The balance of sour and sweet is very important when it comes to this dessert. It was done very well by Samaikya.Overall, a decent andhra restaurant around HSR to pay a visit. Staff are polite and service was good.

Service are not trained to serve an Andhra meal like other Andhra joints

Have been to Samaikya twice till now. During my first visit I had their vegetarian meal for lunch, which was simple, good spread and tasty, something that you would want to have if you are looking for simple homely type food. On my second visit I tried their kalmi Kebab and biryani. Both was good. Only only problem with this place is it looks pretty dull and need to be backed up with some music and better lighting.

I went enthusiastically looking at the menu online.. while reaching found that 2 of the meat types were not available .. however the taste of the 2 dishes we ordered i.e. Chicken Biryani and the Gun Powder fried Chicken was nice... Only that the chicken in the Biriyani was hard and chewy...

Very nice ambience and super yummy food.Had tomato shorba which was like rasam but too good.:)I ordered all veg food as I’m vegetarian but to my surprise they made yummiest Palak paneer I ever had.Staff is very attentive and courteous. Especially babu who manages the place.Pay a visit to them for a nice and calm evening with friends and family.

Nice place to have traditional Andhra cuisine. The restaurant is less than a kilometer HSR BDA complex. I have been here twice - once for breakfast and once for dinner. Their mutton and fish dishes - both starters and main course are delicious. Ambience is okayish and staff is courteous

Not so good not so bad . Added service charges of 8% to the menu which we got removed. Food is good and tastes authentic Andhra. Asked for some more quantity of daal for which they said they won’t give and we would have to order bowl of daal . For an open minded and long term business , adding small quality of daal would have been a smart move but by forcing a customer to buy extra they pushed us far from revisiting. Nevertheless, food quality and taste is up to the mark.If they change business strategies , they will attract more foot fall.

Good restaurant with bar attached. Food was very good. Seating capacity was good. We tried both veg and non-veg and they were delicious. Do remember to ask for the level of spiciness else you may end up with tears for some items. Its on a main road with parking allowed on one side of the stretch.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. The ambiance and the food brings a pleasant surprise.A clean and bright ambiance immediately makes this place likable. When you look at the menu and the options available there, you cant help but feel a joy in you.However the service brings down all those good feelings.The staff is quite untrained. Though one could sense that they do want to make you feel comfortable, they do fall short of it, giving a very unpleasant feeling. Been quite some misunderstandings in the order I placed and what I received.Once the food is served though, you tend to forget everything and enjoy the food.I would like to give this restaurant another shot and hope that they service gets better.

Food used to be really good here, but of late it is degraded very badly. The service is also too late. Food is very very spicy, people with low spicy in take better avoid. Would have been an amazing place had they focused on the food quality as HSR layout has dearth of authentic Andhra cuisine. Though there are low cost options, fine dine options are very less.

I had a worst experience today at Samaikya. I had ordered for a vegetarian soup and they served me chicken soup and the staff were not apologetic about it at all, very bad of them!!!! The moment I entered the restaurant there was a pungent smell and the staff switched on the AC later to make it a little better, how can you have a closed room without the AC on and only switch it on when customers come in. I would caution all vegetarians who are going here to be careful.

Good south Indian food

Few items are good but key items completely off taste. Biryani is a ghee rice with meat. Price is not worth the taste. They are charging service charge in bill which is removed by the indian government

Good place for some Andhra cuisine..the veg thali was good, prawns roast was also. The chicken lollipop had too much chilli powder sprinkled on and didnt have any good flavor, it definitely lacked some salt too, couldnt really enjoy it..All in all , the place serves some good food and is worth a visit

Very good place for casual family dining. This place, so far, had mixed reviews, but I found that when given clear instructions and a smile, service is excellent. It is mid-range expensive and the portions are generous. 6 of is ate well and the bill was only 1900. Definite thumbs-up.

I had been to the restaurant few days back. Few of my friends had suggested to try this restaurant. According to then the food was really good. But in my view the restaurant had only the menu to showcase. Half the dishes which were listed in the menu was not there. They had to take the order 2 times(after they took the order, they came again stating the curry you order can’t be give because it’s not there). The food also was not so tasty.

Was one of the few daily visitors of this hotel breakfast until they stopped breakfast services . Best andhra authentic breakfast i used to get there. I would give 5 star for the breakfast items. But we were so disappointed when we went for team lunch.. Quality is not good as before. Service staff was not that responsive and bit arrogant too . Giving 3 star just because, the breakfast experience i had :)

Taste was abysmal, you will never find worst biryani anywhere else. It was so bad that even if someone had made biryani for first time, it would have been much more better. We were not alone, a quote from another customer when we were there, Even the beggar wont eat this biryani for free. Surprisingly prices were not cheap as the taste. The pint beer costed me Rs 595*(excluding GST).

Horrible service with above average foodWe visited for lunch today, No doubt the food is decent but service us so horrible that only people that have no value of their time should go. We were seven people and it took them good one hour and forty minute to serve us a simple mean that most restaurants serve in 10 minutes.Definitely worth avoiding.

Authentic Andhra Cuisine. The ulavachaaru meegada ( traditional horse gram soup with milk cream) is the best. The quality of cooking and tastes however vary with multiple changes in cooking staff.

Not good place. Waiter name Sagar is worst, as he took wrong order and delivered uncooked raw mutton and didnt even bother to cancel the order. Worst place to visit. I would not recommend.

Except Gobi manchurian and imli kebab nothing tasted great. It may be a good place to try their basic Meals. Rice was semi cooked and it taste average. Samikya ( Equality) is tastefully and equally represented the 3 regions of Telugus Andhra,Telangana & Rayalaseema in ambiance and menu. Got a chance to meet the Owner, Rohini and the chef Mr Reddy, both of them Telugu people which guarantees the authenticity of teluguness of the place & menu. Some of the dishes we tried were the Kandi podi chicken, Guntur Chicken, Karevepaku Rasam, Ulavacharu Biryani, Nalli Bokala Kura, A great place for telugus who wants a homely place and non Telugus who want to know about the cuisine and the culture

If you want to have biryani,better call them and ask for availability.We went today 27-10-2019, they took order and came back after 20min and told that no biryani items available today.So better call them and go for biryani.

Rude staff and very bad fish and prawns. The fish they gave was very old and stinking. The banana leaf wrapped fish is a much try but tread carefully while eating the rest of the dishes. Ambience is like any other restaurant.

Okay, truth be told Ive not had a lot of Andhra food in my life so when i went for dinner to samaikya I didnt know what to expect... however i was amazed the variety and taste of almost all the dishes i ordered.The restaurant is situated at the heart of HSR layout, under mishmash. Its a sizable restaurant with comfortable seating area, decorated aesthetically and ideal for family crowds.Coming to tht food:My friends and I started with a tomato garlic soup. It was served in shot glasses, had a thick consistency and tasted brilliant. Im not a soup person at all but i thoroughly enjoyed it.From the vegetarian dishes that we tried Id definitely recommend the paneer curry, so creamy and something very different which my tastebuds are not experienced too.Another vegetarian dish which stole my heart was a starter: Chamadumpa jeedipappu vepudu. Its essentially colacasia and cashew fry and tasted brilliant. For a first timer at Andhra cuisine it couldnt get any better.Now let me tell you the best part of the menu:The seafood! You absolutely must try it.The pomfret fry here is just a slice of heaven. Beautifully marinated and crisp.Another dish which was absolutely amazing was the mutton curry. The mutton was perfectly cooked almost melted in ones mouth and the spices blended beautifully.If youre trying Andhra food you have to try the special: chicken lollipop and chicken 65 too. They were moderately spicy and super crunchy. Thr Biryani was quite good too. It was Vijayawada style Biryani and not the conventional spicy Hyderabadi Biryani.Best part about the food is that they made the spice quotient in all the food tolerant... something which would suit everyones palette yet maintain the Andhra food originality.Service was prompt and made the whole experience even better.Do give this place a try.You wont be disappointed.

Quite and peaceful place, it wasnt crowded on the weekend.. Probably that says a lot about the food they offer..the dishes were OK and the chicken biriyani was a disaster.Yeah if you need a peaceful place to dine and dont bother too much about the food. Go for it..
