This is the Horamavu branch of the popular Chinese food chain Chung Wah in Bangalore. Located above Sweet Chariot on the first floor the place is small yet enough space between tables. Food is good and service is good as well.The place is well lit and always clean. Quantity of food is decent for the price.

Food is generally good. Prices are reasonable. Decent ambience. They serve the best Chinese and thai food in Horamavu area.

That was a hectic day for me just wanted a good food and nice dinner mostly Chinies . So went to Chung Wah. The place was decent and can be well spotted from the main road. Its completely a family place and actually really felt good after coming to this kind of place after a while. The food and ambiance was good and at the end of the day i felt satisfied. A decent nice dinner. Well recommended for family and friends also a decent date also can be done here.

I have been there a couple of times the service there is the same... if you are planning to go there for dinner please make sure you are there before 10pm st that you enough time to finish your dinner.I have had issues earlier too if you are there a bit which is 10.30 you are forced to finish your dinner. The best part is your bill arrives even before you are done with your dinner... the waiters are literally looking at you and your plate.Every time Ive been there Ive always packed half my food back home, by 10.45 they are ready to kick you out.So guys if you wanna have dinner at Chung Wah please make sure you reach before 10...

Home for our Chinese food on horamavu road.. this is the only decent restaurant can be found here.Taste and service is satisfactory. Value for money restaurant.

Horrible food, I have not much to say.Everything we ordered was old and the taste was just pathetic.The soup we ordered has a bad stench of old meat.Please do not visit this place even if it is your last resort.Hope this message gets across to the management as it is affecting the Franchisee of Chung Wah.

If youre really hungry and going to grab something quickly then this is not a place because they take pretty good amount of time to serve food.but for casual dinner or lunch or to spend some time with family or friends I would suggest this.

Reviewing the food received from Chungwah banaswadi.I had ordered fried rice(2 nos), hunan chicken gravy and drunken chicken wings from Chung wah on Dec 22. I am a patron of chungwah for many years and I dine and take delivery of their various branches(kalyannagar, mg road, kothanur). Their quality and taste of food is very consistent. IIlove their food. But this time i was taken aback by the quality of the food I got delivered though the quantity was large. The rice quality was lol. It smelt like the one from the rice we get cheaply at government ration shop. The Hunan chicken gravy too was not like that from the regular chungwah. The chicken smelt off and the gravy suddenly thickened as though there is corn flour in it after sometime and on re heating it formed chunks of flour like blobs.This is not the quality of food Chungwah serves. My kids and myself had restless stomach. If this is an authentic branch of chungwah chain, please take care of your preparation. This will lead to negative feedback on the entire chain.

Good food.. hygienic and clean.. quick service.. accepts sodexo ..cash and card.. if u looking for quick Chinese munchies or a full fledged Chinese meal worth a visit.

The person who sits at the cash coutor was very adamant, we reached Chang wah at 10 pm in the night to have dinner wherein in the meantime the restaurant already generated the bill for the whole day, as there was 15 cash back offer was going on axis bank credit card, he denied to avail the offer and was very rude and doesnt know how to speak to there customer, this is the first time Im getting this kind of service instead of being patient n explaining the other person he was very bad at talking to women customer also. You should take an appropriate action against the person or otherwise I will escalate the same to the higher branh of chaung wah. I will never visit there n will also recommend not to visit the place.

Horrible food !! The item delivered was entirely different .instead of dry a gravy item. Thr. Lamb in the gravy of worst taste and felt vomiting. And cost of this worst thing 345. Horrrrrible !!!!!

The worst place to order food from. They are no where close to the quality and service given by Chung Wah in Kalyan Nagar. Ordered food through Swiggy without realising it was the Horamavu branch. The rice noodles quality was so bad with cucumber and tomatoes. We have never seen even a road side vendor using cucumber and tomatoes in noodles. We had to throw the whole quantity. Then the Lamb in Hunan sauce, the name itself says that it’s a sauce based dish, but what we received was a gravy based dish. No value for money at all. Just wasted Rs.914 for a road side quality food. Very disappointed.

Very bad experience. We have ordered Manchurin fish....fish was smelling like anything ! Already spoiled but still they cooked it. Lot of argument then finally they agreed it was spoiled. Be careful .

Food were quite greasy with heavy oil content. Taste was bland... Better choices available in the vicinity within similar price range...

Service was pathetic, although the food was tasty. The waiters there were Very lax and laid-back. The experience was overall unpleasant. Proof that its not just enough for the food to be tasty but should serve with a pleasant attitude as well.

I ordered for a clear chicken soup today, because of high fever. Guyyyssss!!! Do not. It was a complete disaster. They have added big chunks of veggies and huge chunks of chicken too. And they charged me ₹145 for this which absolutely fetched me nothing.Chung Wah Hormavu branch stop cheating and improve your cooking skills.

It is a good place the food is spicy and taste is amazing the issue with this is they do not provide chopsticks even though its a Chinese restaurant many people cannot find it easily its located on 1st floor and cause of that i dont get noticed by many people

I ordered a chicken steamed rice and a butter garlic chicken fried rice 1 portion each from Chung wah banaswadi. In the steamed rice the vegetables were all raw and not cooked and the chicken it had only around five pieces it was stinking... and in the fried rice for the entire portion we found only 5-6 pieces of small bits of chicken

Ambience, food quality, taste everything deserves 2-3. Could visit this place once in a while.

Chung Wah, Horamavu outlet is horrible, very very bad customer service, we were the only last person till there at 3 pm, the manager comes and switched off the TV stating that it is closing time, also I was having lunch with my family, the manager came 3 times to clear off the plate while I was still having food. The manager said finally at 3 15 pm that its closing time and you guys need to leave. I would suggest everyone to boycott Chung Wah, Horamavu outlet, as this has happened to me today, who knows you could be the next victim. - - thanks Capt. ABHI DATTA

Today again visited the same, and ordered Hunan chicken and Leafu Rice Chi and soft drink.The appetizer was okay, though fried long time back in morning and was just tossed after i placed order.The soft drink was normal temp, to which i asked a chilled one, whn a waiter came and said thats the one they have, after which i had to ask them to put it back in the fridge.Now the most horrible experience i had with rice.. NO SALT, NO LEAFU TASTE, absolutely plain boiled rice. Which of course the chefs are least bothered to ask and re check with guests if the taste is corrected or not ?It came to me again and tasted again plain..Sad part i my self had to add salt and vinegar kept on the table top to add taste. NO MANAGER ON FLOOR. NO ONE TO COME AND TAKE FEEDBACK ????Service industry will never flourish until you have pleasing staffs. Thats the reason when i come here its always empty. I dont if owner of this outlet can see the loopholes else no wonder this will shut due to NO ROI .Only bcoz of your dining service staffs.I complained 1 year back and complain again,...The owners kindly consider this critical.

It is in the Hormavu -Kalkare main road. From the Hormavu signal it should be around 0.4 KMs. They have Chinese, Malaysian and Singapore cusine. The taste is good and cost is also reasonable. They accept online orders and also through phone. Only drawback is that restaurant could accommodate 35-40 people at a time. So sometime waiting period is needed. They close around 10.30 -10.45 and will stop taking orders by 10.15.

Only decent food outlet in horamavu main road now. Good dinner destination for people in horamavu and kalkere.No inhouse Car parking available. But can park in main road and side pocket roads.

Miles to go for the place to set the ambience right. Be ready for a surprise when you will be asked to pay by cash only, because while entering there is a 4/4 paper note saying their systems r down and you are human enough to ignore it amidst 10 other stickers. Personally speaking, I was conveyed the same thing as if it was my mistake not to read it. Food was good but the experience was not good.
