Went on a Sunday morning, after a refreshing beach walk. Great ambiance, loved the music blend. Ordered their special sandwich and banana choco-chip pancakes. Both were delicious. Peaceful place to sit and chat with friends (not sure how rush hour is, the morning was quiet).Waiting to go back and try other items on the menu!

Please make sure your customers dont misbehave with other customers. I came in this evening with my 4 yr old son and just sat down , waiting for some other friends to wash their hands and join us. I checked with the staff before sitting on the place that my son wanted to, because we sat there the last time we were there.. He was a little loud while sitting down, yes...but it was a MATTER IF SECONDS not even minutes that we had sat down, that a customer, asked me to take my son and move away. He was downright rude, and after asking him to go to own private space if he wants to, I left only because I dont want to sit next to such indecent rude people, but also because none of your staff intervened. My cousins and I used to love your place. But not anymore.

Lot of creativity in their ambience. Like the theme restaurant its a theme tea shop. Varieties of tea is available which is provided with a mini biscuit packet. Tea tastes good. I have tried French fries which is not up to the expectation when compared to their tea. Still a good place to enjoy with a group of friends.

Loved the ambiance. Its a cosy little place to hangout with friends. Everything is chai themed! Theres Hindi movie posters and bollywood music playing in the background.The food is simple. The place has a nostalgia to it. A must try.

Always go there for breakfast. Maggi and hot chai. They give parle g along with the tea. Reminds you of your childhood.

We were here for the first time. Ambience was very good in first look. Went inside the washroom to wash hands and it had the toilet aswell, which smelled worse than a public toilet. So we asked for finger bowls, which they didnt have. Great. This itself should have warned us about their service.Coming to the food, we ordered two chais. Masala and Adrak, both of which were too watery and didnt taste like milk tea. When questioned, they said that we are supposed to inform them before ordering. Now I dont know how is a customer is supposed to know how they prepare a milk tea, before ordering.We also ordered french fries and nachos bhel. French fries were super bad, tasted like a rock with no flavor. Nachos bhel was the only one that tasted good.Overall, terrible experience right from washroom to the food quality, which were all super expensive.Not coming here again.

Nice atmosphere for a group of friends to hangout. Prices can be a little cheaper though. Orders can also be delivered a bit quicker. As far as food is concerned, me and my friends did not have any issues with it. Overall a good place.

A quicky cute place with lovely interiors. I tried the cutting chai poha and cheese namkeen shots. The tea was excellent.one of the best is Chennai and so was the poha. Absolutely loved it. The cheese shots were a disaster. Had one and left it.The place is good value for money

One of the best place to have sit and have chit chat with your group after you visit Elliott beach. It offers a variety of tea and snacks. The irony is its just above CCD. The ambience is good and they have given a retro look to the place. Poster of old movies, metal tea pod, old chair gel well to provide a unique feel. If you go visit there washroom its innovative . A must visit place for all the CHAI lovers.

The staff were also very kind. Gave Parle G biscuits to have with chai as a bonus. The place is slightly expensive though, but it was worth it.

Amazing Adrak tea I have tasted in a long time..ordered it online and the small packet of Parle G really surprised me and brought a smile 😃...didnt expect the tea to be so good...just like the one we prepare at home with lots of patience & love...its a completely veg joint and thats a plus for me! Their veg sandwich tasted good and looking forward to visiting more often to try out their complete menu! Keep it up guys...loved your packing as well!!

Situated right in the middle of famous Elliot’s promenade.. one of the coolest and vibrant happening place next to ccd.. Totally a old Bollywood style theme. From the extensive menu, it was hard to choose the dishes. Nachos platter with humongous amount of cheese was easy and a quick pick. Aloo paratha and panneer paratha with a dollop of butter was utterly butterly delicious. Next blind choice was white pasta which was rich and creamyyyy (best of the day) and boarding school Maggi. Simple and all time favourite. Aloo masala panini was alright which tasted more like vada pav. And how can we miss the famous masala chaai which was served with cute little Parle G biscuit. For all these we paid just 1000 bucks.. Value for money. Definitely a must visit place if you are foodie.

Great decor. We ordered veggie sandwich, pizza panner burji and a paneer paratha. The sandwich was good. Paratha was too hard and pizza wasnt freshly made. Burji was ok. Not sure if Id come back again.

Worst service, they wont ask whether u need water, service team ll vanish immediately after order, chef pls go back to school, bad french fries as well as panini, we have to keep looking at kitchen door if someone comes out to take order , not bothered to check our next order at all.

If you want a premium Chai experience in Chennai, this is your destination. The chai selections they have is brilliant. I had the Mumbaiwala chai and the Rajasthani chai( which comes with saffron). They are served in beautiful Chai glasses.In snacks too their menu doesnt disappoint. I tasted the tadka wala Maggi, the fritters, the pizza and the paneer sandwich. All served tasty and hot. The ambiance of this place is appealing too, gives a desi cafe vibe. Beautiful interiors, all chai themed.All in all a satisfactory experience.

I loved the concept and interior. I know people will debate whether its worth the money spent but do we think this much before going to CCD ? The tea is obviously good, we tried masala tea and kashmiri. It comes in a cute lil tea pot with again cute small Parle G pack. Tried Poha and mushroom both were decent .

Its a trending place in Besant Nagar but once you enter you feel as if your in Bombay, Coz the interiors are full of Bollywood posters, Colorful chairs and cool Lightings.Anyways as I am a great fan of Vada Pav, I never miss it. Bhel puri was good and the pasta was awesome !But All I wanted to talk about is the Chai , We tried one pot of Chai, It was not up to the expectation. . . May be Ive got try other ones too. Personally, I felt that they had to work on their Chai more Coz it tasted like an average Chai !

The food quality was top notch.The items we ordered were special panini ice tea and chocochip banana pancake.The portions were filling for all the items, even though it didnt seem much on the plate.What I was surprised by was the fact that they were able to bring food to the take quickly despite many customers.

The pickle served with it was so hot and tasty..Pesto Maggi was cooked nicely.. Perfect flavour.. All the dishes were served piping hot..Vada pav was nice.. Very average in ambience. Wall arts and looks resembles Bangalore chai gulli. Did not take much care on the cleanliness. Pasta was well done. Chaat items were more of North Indian style. Tea wasn’t the best, though the place is exceptionally renowned for this. Retro hindi playlist were good, which i did not understand a bit. Place is not crowded mostly. Do not expect much if you wanna give a try to this place.

The serving staff is not trained well to accept orders and to follow up. For example, the restaurant does not have mango juice, but the server does not provide any reply while ordering. The customer service is bad. I was billed twice with GST for ordering again.

I have been to Velachery branch. I really loved the food and service. Besant nagar branch is just crowded and you will have to wait and keep reminding the waiters to find you a table. Waited for 20 mins but they gave table to some who came after us. When we asked the waiter, he replied with attitude saying he forgot and we can leave if we want.

Good place. Good tea. How they do not have a hot lemon tea in their menu blows my mind. Post a heavy meal, a lemon tea works best so that was disappointing for me

Great spot for Tea lovers....very near to Elliots beach...I guess the owner is one punjabi guy...which I read on internet and how he got the idea for this opening this spot . You get different varieties of Tea with small Parle G. They have others options for snacks as well.We tried Chilli cheese sandwich and sev Puri which was good.The interior is just so good with light fittings being innovatively made of kettle and glasses. Songs are being played.Nice spot for evening Hangouts with friend or your partner...😊
