Not at all worth , one small rest room for all ...its unhygienic , Food doesnt tastes good and gravey is not served free along with biriyani .. only a little of useless brinjal curry is served .... All this in Ambur Star Biriyani itself ....

Ordered today from here most horrible biryani ever tasted. Meat was boiled and raw, spices were of absolutely no taste. Sorry to say but the food was pathetic 😡😡😡 I am not able to find any negative rating here.

Today, 11th September 2021, I went with my family to the BTM Layout outlet of Star Biryani for dinner.I do like Ambur Biryani served at Star biryani restaurants and therefore order it often through Zimato/Swiggy. I had even been to the BTM Layout outlet alsi a couple of times before.Today we ordered 3 Mutton Biryanies along with soft drinks. The Biryani was served hot and fresh. However, while we started eating, we realized that the Biryani was tasting different and was like bland taste. Then we realized that there was no salt added in the Biryani and therefore it was totally tasteless. I informed the supplier who then called the cashier Mr. Arun who is really a gentleman. He want inside the kitchen and confirmed that the Biryani today has been cooked without salt by mistake.He offered us replacement with Chicken Biryani which I refused. He then offered to give Chicken Biryani takeaway. I again said No problem its OK and happens sometimes.He finally gave me 2 Chicken Biryanies as takeaway and billed me for only 2 chicken Biryanies. I offered to pay for the Mutton Biryanies also but he refused to accept it. He didnt bill me for the Mutton Biryanies even when I insisted.Overall, it was not good experience as we couldnt enjoy the good taste of Mutton Biryanies, but I can understand that sometimes it can happen like this.But I liked the attitude of the cashier who is very polite and customer focused.

We ordered mutton biryani and chiken sukka. Biryani was good. Few mutton pieces were chewy. But chiken sukka was the spoiler. It was hard and not good.

Food is good. But gotta keep the place lively and neat. Hand wash is common in mens bathroom .. come on! And there is womens bathroom without a hand wash. Its like they dont want women to be comfortable.

My review is for takeaway. Food was packed well. Biriyani tasted too good. Ambur biriyani has a unique taste. Chicken was well cooked.Spicy level was perfect. Chicken 65 is a must try dish apart from biriyani. The biggest disappointment was the quantity. It was just half the box that they gave. Management needs to take a look at this.For the price they charge the quantity will not be enough for one person. So next time when you are buying make sure to check the quantity. Overall if you are looking for Ambur style biriyani then this the place.#staysafe

Not one of the greatest places to visit.. my 1st experience was itself the worst experience.. taste not that great as expected, Biryani was too oily, when asked, they said it was the last biryani, but it was not informed to me. Chilly chicken was so hard and not tasty.. I dont suggest this place for food lovers like me..

It is not worthy. Even the taste is not so good. And the service was worst. They dont even take the order fast and serving food is also very late. The quantity of biriyani is also less. Ambur biriyani in street is good compare to this. Inside ambience also not good. And the chicken served in the biriyani was withskin and it was not so delicious.Will not visit again.

Mutton biriyani was really good

This is a wonderful restaurant for Chicken Biriyani lovers. Been here had lovely Chicken Biryani n Special Chicken Lollypop - it tastes amazing. (You can have half biryani or full biryani in the menu list which makes real sense!!)

Very yummy biryani and the meat in the biryani is to die for! If you are one of those people who like their biryani less spiced and really tender meat this place is for you.. rice used here is aromatic jeera samba not basmati..

Ok ok type biryani. Not very cheap. Taste is also not very good. They use normal rice to prepare the biryani. Its was more oily. +1 for they use banana leaf to serve the food. 18% GST though AC was not working at all.

Disaster taste compared to branch store.Both mutton and chicken pieces were old, while eating the pieces were literally rubbery.All the staffs were North Indians, couldnt communicate to them in English as well.Most of the items were unavailable at 8PM on a Sunday night.Order and served food was 1 Mutton Briyani, 1 Chicken Briyani, 1 Prawn 65 and a water bottle.However, bill given had without Mutton Biriyani.The BTM branch is cheating the peoples actual bill n original branch taste

Newly opened on 10th December 2018. We brought parcel. Taste is not like traditional ambur briyani. If they improve the taste it will be so good.

Overated place and also the prices on all the food that is available here, the quantity is very less, quick service, not too hygienic, taste is below average, there are so many varients of biryani in the Menu but in reality they only have chicken biryani , mutton biryani and egg biryani. And some starters, I was lucky to get a sea food starter.

The taste remains the same everywhere you go. There are different branches of Star and it really amuses me how they maintain a single taste everywhere.The options are limited unlike the one is Ambur itself for ex the one is Ambur has half options and here there is only a portion.The price has gone up from 180 to a blazing 250 for a mutton biriyani.

I ordered chicken lollipop from this restaurant. Ridiculous they charge ₹190+tax for 4 small pieces which will barely weigh 80 grams. The meat was uncooked and too salty. These guys just run Star Biriyani and not a Star hotel. Will never order from here.

Biryani taste was good even some starter , but didnt like the service. They make u wait so long n treat with no care . And price of just biryani Rice is 110 rs with nominal qty, where outside u can get for 40rs easily.But think before u step in

Waste of money...

I was a regular customer of this place. I really enjoyed eating biryani over here. But now BTM branch has gone down. They no longer serving that best biryani anymore. Sorry to say, but the quality has went down completely. We had a very bad experience.Now no one is coming to restaurant anymore. Always empty and the staff inside the restaurant are busy playing than serving.
