A very special place, truly vintage for people of old Bangalore. Nice place for breakfast and tiffin, other food items are good too. Its the ambience and location that makes this place unique. Open restaurant and also sheltered option available. Food is pricey though. For me it reminds me of my college days where we use to hang around for hours together, nostalgic.

The best place for masala dose. Not just dose, every item on their menu is good, be it idly, vada, or poori or even meals. Coffee is great too.The open air ambiance is pleasing and eating below the huge banyan tree is an different experience altogether. Service is good and the best part is, they dont hurry you to finish eating. In addition to their own restaurant, this place also includes Corner House icecream parlour and a tea shop. ************OVER HYPED PLACE*************Dont waste your Money and Time here!1. Servers dont care.2. People who are supposed to clean the table dont care.3. Ordered Butter masala dosa, there was no essence of butter and the dosa was cold! The guy served us Dosa without chutney, told us hell go back and get chutney. But had to get hold of people and remind them that they have to give chutney for dosa.4. 130/- for dosa!!! Definitely not worth!!!!5. Now, idly and vada. Idly and visa was served on a plate with sambar all over the plate and idli!!! The taste of sambar was so sweet and also not hot! Chutney was ok. Very small sized vada and taste was also ok.6. There is a open parking space inside the compound. Apart from low quality food that costs more, they even charge for parking!!! 20/- per bike.May be I might have not bothered if I had got some quality food!Ultimately, NOT WORTH THE MONEY YOU PAY HERE!************OVER HYPED PLACE*************

50 rupees for a bottle of water which has a 20 rupees MRP printed on it...Ambiance was great until a set of stray dogs attacked the leftover food on the neighboring table.Waiters dont wait on you and you have to beg them for attention. No menu cards are shown so you have to depend on a very reluctant and disinterested waiter for recommendations.Everything is overpriced and I am not honestly a stickler for expensive places but the service should match the pricing.Five star restaurant rates with third grade railway canteen cleanliness (even railways have better standards nowadays) and pathetic attitude of the staff.

I agree its one of the oldest restaurants in Bangalore but I still do not know why the waiters are so negligent there. I mean, they literally do not care about the customers. The way they answer, the way they responds...uff! As we all know, the price here is triple of any other restaurants. Taste is kinda normal, nothing extraordinary. You may just visit this place to get that feel. The outer space is pretty good to relax and while away the time.
