The Patbari Ashram of Haridas Tagore has about six hundred years of Madhabilata and ancient Tamal trees. The Patbari Ashram of Haridas Tagore in Jessore has become a place of interest today. Haridas Tagores Patbari Ashram under the shade of this tamal tree.Patbari Ashram is next to Benapole Bazar on Jessore-Kolkata Road in Bangladesh. The distance from Shealdah railway station in Kolkata is only 60 km. Buses or trains can be added here.It is known that Lord Gouranga Mahaprabhu of Kali was born to liberate the nation at the juncture when the Hindu nation was drowning in caste-blind-superstitious lawlessness. Meanwhile, Haridas was born as a devotee in Keragachhi village of Kalaroa police station in Satkhira district.Haridas Tagore who chanted Harinam in his melodious voice for the salvation of the creatures of Kali and in the name of Namachayya and Gaurangatha saw the face of Gauranga Mahaprabhu and breathed his last in Mahaprabhus lap Haridas Tagore was a burning symbol of true Vaishnavism and an incarnation of misery.Benapole Patbari known as Haridas Tagores Sadhan Kanan. Where Haridas Tagore bless the human race by chanting three lakh names every day and entering the light of liberation in the hearts of the closed beings. Where everlasting beautiful Lakshmihis became absolute Vaishnavism by the grace of Haridas Tagore in Harinam Mahamantra.Haris name is mixed with anti-dandruff dust, Gauranga Mahaprabhus footsteps, the ancient tamal tree with its head bowed for the grace of Haridas, Madhabi Lata has become a tree today. Sridham Patbari is the place of worship of Haridas Tagore, the land of Siddhapeeth. The Patbari Ashram has a museum center on the biography of Haridas Tagore, the ancient tamal tree, madhabilata, siddha tree, from which ripe jackfruit is obtained in the month of Chaitra. If you climb the stairs in the tunnel 12/14 feet below the ground, you will see the Girigavardhan temple. In this ancient traditional ashram, Niryan Tithi Mahotsav is celebrated here with the biography of Braksha Haridas Tagore, Bhagavata discussion, kirtan, taste of Niryan Leela, devotional songs and kirtan of verses.Visitors to this temple can stay here. No separate money is taken from the guests for staying or eating.

Ashram Contact:Established: 657 Bengali. Namacharya Brahma Haridas Tagore is the Vaishnava pinnacle and the constant star of the material world. It appeared in the village of Keragachhi under the Kalaroa police station of the then Khulna district in the month of Agrahayan in 1382 Shakab and in English in 1449 AD. His fathers name was Pandit Sumati Mishra and his mothers name was Gauri Devi. The parents named their favorite son Haridas. When the baby was two months old, his father passed away. At that time the practice of satidah was prevalent in that area. Thakurs mother Gauri Devi sacrificed her life. As a result, Thakur Haridas became a complete orphan. It was at that time that Kazi Habibullah Tagore, a tenant of Sumati Mishra, took charge of the upbringing and upbringing of Tagore. Therefore, he is called Javan Haridas because he was brought up in the house of a Muslim and Anna. When he passed from childhood to adolescence, his foster father appointed him to take care of him. Every evening he would go to the house of a local Brahmin after completing the Gocharan and donate enough food and water to the cows and recite various religious mantras such as the Brahmin Pandit Ramayana Mahabharata Srimadbhagavat and Srimadbhagavatgita. Listening to religious discussions gives birth to his devotion to God. Eventually, he left his birthplace and the village of Keragachi, which is full of memories, and set out on a lonely night for an unknown purpose. That forested place is today known as Haridas Tagore. Considering the place ideal for his meditation, he built a bhajan hut with leaves and vines. After bathing, he planted a basil tree in front of the cottage and began to chant the shaved-headed Harinam. He will chant 1 lakh in a loud voice, 1 lakh in a low voice and 1 lakh in a low voice every day. Haridas Tagore used to chant his hymns. At that time, countless fans were scattered around him. That is why the upper classes of the society at that time thought that he needed to be expelled from Benapole. For this the opposition complained to Raja Ramchandra. The conspirators tried unsuccessfully to set fire to the Bhajan hut. Then Ramchandra Khan sent a prostitute named Laksh Hira to Tagores hut to chase away Haridas Tagore. But after being defeated by the power of Haridas Tagore, lakhs of diamonds were saved. Then Haridas Tagore swelled through Haridaspur, Shantipur. There he was whipped in Baish Bazaar of Phulia for chanting Harinam but Harinam could not be stopped from his mouth. Then, at the call of Mahaprabhu, he preached Harinam from house to house in Navadwip and finally Nilachal appeared. He died on the beach there.
