My hair came out great! Mindy fixed my messed up hair cut from another salon, and Cesar fixed my color. Mindy was very kind and funny. Cesar was so great, my hair color came out soo nice! I never had my hair colored so nice! Cesar is definitely an artist and pro, very talented. I am definitely coming back, this will be my go to place!

They’re great people. The owner is a really friendly person and they’ll call in a male barber if you’re a guy. My barber, Andy, who only works Fridays and Saturdays took his time and was very attentive with my specific hair type and you can tell he enjoys cutting hair, cares about his work a lot and does a really good job as well. My hair ended up turning out very nice and dapper. Overall great experience. Would visit again.

I have gotten my hair done with Ivan several times now. I’m moving out of state and decided to leave a review now after realizing I cannot fly him in to do my hair. For reference, I have pretty thick curly/wavy hair and Ivan has blown it out of the park each time with every color and cut that I have asked him to do.He always checks the strength of my hair and makes sure that the colors aren’t damaging to it. He also takes the time to teach me how to take care of it, how to style it, and how to make sure that my color lasts. He is honest about the process and really takes the time to talk about exactly what you want before he jumps in. A true artist and a perfectionist. He’s also very sweet and kind and lovely to talk to! I like to change up my hair often, so we have bleached my hair, dyed it orange, darkened it, done money pieces, done asymmetric highlights, etc… and he managed to do everything.I highly recommend either a consultation or calling in beforehand to make sure that the length of time that you are booking for will be enough to actually get what you want.

I did highlights, curtain bang, trim, and grey coverage.The best hair salon experience I’ve ever had. Thao was the most accommodating and genuine human being!Thao is very professional and friendly. Her schedule do fill up pretty quickly so I would book her months in advance.My hair process took about 4 hours and she got me boba and pastries because she knew I haven’t eaten.I would be coming back 100%

Me and my friend called to get our hair dyed and got an appointment within 24 hours! Mindy and Cesar were so nice and accommodating for us and helped us figure out what was best for our hair.

Mindy was very sweet but the amount i paid for her to bleach my hair ($700) was just not worth what i got. she got impatient halfway and started complaining about how troublesome the style that i wanted was even though i had told her upfront what it would take and that’s why she quoted such a high price. my bleach job ended up uneven and rushed. she said she needed to bleach it twice, then felt like it was too much trouble, washed the second one out before it was done, and rushed her way through toning. dont get me wrong she was extremely lovely and a wonderful woman, she even bought me a kimbap for lunch because i had to sit there the whole day, but for the amount i paid i think its reasonable to expect a little more professionalism. i will go somewhere else next time.

I would put 1 star but they had good customer service until I told them I was not satisfied with my perm they did to me. Was not what I showed them to do.My natural hair is wavy. Not like in the picture. This was the aftermath of a perm there (photo where I’m wearing a mask -also at a different salon bc I got my perm corrected at a different salon which is where the photo is, my before and after pic with the salon that actually can perm and got it corrected ).They seem to be good at other stuff but if you are looking for tight curl perms this is not the place to get it done, they don’t do the process correctly. From chemicals to the way they were attending it. It’s the reason my perm did not have coils, they literally ran a brush straight through my head after doing a perm, I even flinched because I was like “WTH” you doing after they ran a comb knowing the perm was freshly done. I was very disappointed. Clearly as shown in the photo these are half a**ed coils/curls, yet I still paid for half of what the charge was. I have never been so unsatisfied in a salon until I came to this one. I wasted money, & time coming here.Idid not get what I asked. Also their process of a perm is not correct, not how it’s Actually done in an actual perm salón that knows the real process.They said my hair (my front area) needed to be short in order for curls to hold tight (not true) & told me it’s why it was doing what my front “curls” were doing. I denied to get it cut bc I know what the lady said wasn’t true.In order to get nice tight coils with some stretch your hair needs to be long.and the one other photo where I’m smiling without a mask (At my house) is the result of the correct perm at a different salón that I went after.No haircut was needed or my front needing a cut. The other salon (not this one) corrected it no problem and now I’m very very happy with how it looks.Hairstyle and other stuff ok here.Perms NOT ok to get done here.

I got japanese hair straightening and a haircut with Andy and it was absolutely amazing! Andy was so nice during the whole process and even stayed really late after closing to finish my hair (I have a lot of hair so the process took around 7-8 hours total for me). The results were amazing, way above my expectations, my hair was really straight (which says a lot given the fact it started out really curly and untamable). I would definitely go back to have my hair done with Andy again!

I got my hair colored (foilayage) by Ivan. He was a lot of fun to work with. He was very honest about what he can or cant achieve on my hair (dark asian hair), which I really appreciate. He also give me some recommendations on shampoos and at home care for my new hair. Overall, great experience!

I had a full balayage session with Mindy today. Unlike my previous hair coloring experience, Mindy knew how to work with darker hair color. She pays attention to details and listens to the customers. She went out of her way to stay late after work hours to make sure I got what I came to her for. I was touched when she waited with me for my Uber to arrive as it was quite late at night and she had her customer’s safety as a priority. I am extremely happy with the service I received and feel lucky to have finally found her.Thank you 💕

Mindy works very hard for her clients and spends hours getting me the results I want. She always knows how to style me without me saying much. Her meticulous detail to attention is amazing. She is very up to date with new and current techniques with hair dye and styling. Also her place is dog friendly!

I made an appointment with Mindy 5 days in advance. When I get there she tells me that she doesn’t know how to cut curly hair! Then she gave me a half sincere apology on how she forgot to ask me what type of hair I have. Did she just assume that I’d have straight hair?! And. I specifically asked her over the phone if she’d be wearing a mask, and she said yes. When I got there she wasn’t wearing one and given that I was wearing one she should have at least had the courtesy to maintain a 6 feet distance while talking to me which she didn’t. 100% unprofessional and inconsiderate. Never going here again.

Not sure why this place has 5 stars almost. Truly one of the worst Hair experiences of my life. I asked for a trim and they cut off over 4 inches!!!! My chest length hair is not at my shoulders in an uneven cut. The place is dirty but unfortunately didn’t notice until my hair was wet and being cut. Hair left all over the mirror and the tools were full of other peoples hair.I ran home and showered. I would never reccomend here to anyone. Hair that took over 1.5 years to grow is down the drain. I was scared to get my hair cut and specifically looked for reviews and places with high ratings... this was a lie. I hope no one has to go what I went through. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I have never dyed my hair before, let alone balayage it, so going in, I was nervous about the process and worried about the possibility of me not liking a new look. Ivan completely blew those worries away.I am very low maintenance about my hair and therefore ignorant on what would look amazing on me; Ivan made some suggestions off the photos of models I thought I would replicate and accurately procured an image for me of which I would find most unique to my persona.We did a haircut along with a balayage, dying my hair to a ash gray. I had wanted to go with a light ash gray, but Ivan suggested we follow with a dark ash gray for the longevity; Im glad I agreed. The color is absolutely perfect and easily sticks out against my very dark black hair.Like all balayage, the process was long and complex. I hadnt eaten since 10am and therfore was starving out of my mind. To my delight, Ivan brought me cake from a local bakery. He waved it off as something he did with all clients in long processes like this, but the thought is sweet and kind regardless of consistency.Overall, Ivan was great to talk to, funny, down to earth, and obviously very professional. If youre looking to get your services in the Bellevue area, I suggest you go to Ivan.

I’ve now seen Mindy twice for a men’s perm! She does a great job, and has a ton of experience doing perms for men and it shows. She’s quite knowledgeable about them. On top of all of that, you can tell she’s extremely hard working and cares a lot about what she does. Definitely recommend her!

My wife went to Cesar for a Japanese Straightening and he did such an amazing job. He did so well, we took our daughter (pictured) in to get hers done, too! They both have never had such an amazing experience at a salon or with a hair stylist. Cesar is so amazing and talented!! Mindy is too! When Cesar needed it, Mindy was so amazing to help when he needed it. My daughter’s hair is so thick, wavy, and poofy but now it looks a million times better/healthier!! Don’t book an appointment with Ivan. It was very unprofessional of him to cancel my appointment on the last minute. My appointment was scheduled for tomorrow, which I booked back in May. I received a message from him this morning saying that he’s not taking any new clients. I wish he would have told me sooner so that I wouldn’t have to change my plans. Very inconvenient.

10/10 recommend this place especially Mindy!!! She is a sweet, hardworking lady and made me feel so comfortable as I got my hair done. I came here wanting to go blonde but instead I got an ash brown balayage and let me tell you, I freaking love it!! I was on a tight schedule where I was leaving to go back to school to get grad photos done and she was able to squeeze me in the day before I left. She made me feel very comfortable, she even got me a pastry and a smoothie (I was there for like 4 hours). During those 4 hours, we had some great conversations as she was doing my hair. Like I said before, she is hardworking, so kind, and really does care about her customers. She knew what I wanted and she was able to deliver!! The haircut was perfect also, I definitely know where to go for my haircuts now!! I live about an hour to 1.5 hrs away and it is worth the drive.

Went to this salon a few days ago to correct the hair color from a different salon. The original color was an orangy blonde balayage and Lotte salon turned it into a gorgeous copper red (which is exactly what i wanted!) Walked out feeling like a movie star! They really know what they’re doing when it comes to customers with a lot of really thick hair!They were also very engaging and welcoming to me as a first time customer, so I will definitely be coming back!

Dont get me started. After leaving this salon I looked like a kindergartener used safety scissors to cut my hair. I didnt even get the color because the gal cut my hair so freaking short, it wouldve been a waste to color, too. AWFUL!!

Best haircut I have had in years!!! Thick, coarse, straight Asian hair with so many stories of “eh” haircuts or even terrible layering cuts. I don’t have time to do a lot of styling daily, so I need it to look decent with a quick blow dry. Mindy heard my ramblings about how I just wanted my hair to look better than my current stylist was doing and be easy to style. Wash, cut, quick hair-dry with minor flat ironing and I was done. She intentionally did minimal styling so I didn’t leave the salon with a false impression of how my hair would look daily. So happy.A day later my hair got the shower and rushed towel dry treatment at home... looked in the mirror after it dried and I swear my hair never looked better. I’m shocked. I will be going back to Mindy permanently. Not only did I get the best hair cut in years, it was sooooo much better priced than the $180 “eh” haircuts I was paying for at Se7en.

Im an Asian guy with a typical thick, straight hair. I went to this salon by chance and it turned out beyond my expectations. Honestly this was the worst hair salon I have ever been to. My experience here was absolutely horrible, because as soon as I walked through that door I started to get criticized and insult about my long hair. The mockery and insults was coming from none other than the owner herself, Mindy. She told me that because my hair was long I looked like an Indian and just came back from India. And it didn’t stop there, she told me that she doesn’t think long hair looked pretty on me and went on how I didn’t take care of my hair. Even though I do take care of my hair, sometimes I do not have the supplies to treat my hair. I only have what is necessary to keep my hair in check. Then when I told her what type of style I was looking for and how I wanted my hair she gave me a horrible attitude about me not wanting to do what she wanted to do with my hair. If I want to get my hair done I want to do it the way I like it because it’s my hair! The whole time she was so passive aggressive with me. Also while she was drying my hair she persistently kept hitting my head with the hair dryer and with the spiky brush as well. There were times as well when she went to go talk on the phone for a long period of time. After that, I was interested in the products she used so I asked her what does she recommend for me and she said she would only recommend if my parent was willing to spend money. Like really? This experience told me to never come back. Probably thats why they didn’t have much customers in the salon at all. If you ever think about coming here read the one star reviews because they are all true. Mindy took care of me all the way through the process of dying my hair! She was incredibly friendly, accommodating and considered the best option for my hair. With all customers, she tries to strike up a conversation to make the experience fun and enjoyable. She is very flexible but be sure to book an appoint out of consideration for her schedule. She really can do it all from cutting hair, perming and dying hair both natural and fun bright colors. Her salon’s background story is what initially drew me, but the experience left a great impression. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever. 😡 I got Japanese hair straightening done here month ago. After just one wash, it started showing waves in my hair again. They did my straightening again but its few weeks now, my hair straightening is completely gone. I feel like i wasted a lot of money for nothing. 😞 I started having hair fall too which i never had in my life yet.Pls do not consider this hair salon for permanent hair straightening.

I first came here about 2 years ago for a hair cut and was pleased with how it turned out.Flash forward to a couple weeks ago, I went to another salon closer to my house and they totally butchered my hair cut and dyed it so that the roots were orange while the rest was brown. I was mortified.I came to Mindy because she is one of the few people Ive come across who understands how to handle my coarse Korean hair. She not on fixed my hair nightmare, but perfected it to exactly how I wanted it originally. She definitely has mastered her craft.

I got a Mens Haircut here and it was a great, pleasant experience.Thao was super nice, listened to what my previous haircuts/styles were, and wanted her opinions on what my hair style should be since I didnt get my haircut for the past 3-4 month (bc of COVID19).She was very detail oriented, explained some of the process to me bc I was interested and she made sure what was going on during each step, which I appreciated.Will be making this place my go-to hair salon for now.The booking process is super easy too. Ive been coming for almost a year and will continue to do so. Mindy does a fantastic job doing a Korean Style. She does great long cuts for mens as well short cuts. Shes fun to chat with and has lots of experience. I usually hate getting haircuts and worry the stylist will mess it up, but ever since coming here, I have no worries. Mindy remembers my hair preference every visit. I dont usually have a style in mind and I only suggest cutting it more or less and she nails it everytime! Great service, stylish shop, and super friendly.
