Curry point improved a lot now. Good keep it up, giving 4 starts. However lost on their Tandoori chicken, so reducing to 3 stars. Tandoori chicken is one of their iconic menu. However no flavor and taste now a days. Its like a boiled chicken in red color.
Never keeps the order ready! Placed the order overt the phone and went there after 40 mins(they said order will be ready in 20 mins). Had to wait 20 mins after I reached there.I would like to see the curry tastes like curry atleast once in my life time. I go there several times coz it’s the closest to take out. You can eat this food when you’re running out of options and craving fro Indian food. It is never spicy!!!
I need to pick my order at 6:00 PM and even after one hour (7:20PM)my order was not ready. Upon checking the at the reception the ladysaid they are preparing the chutney. Most irritating restaurant never going to order here again. Thumbs down 👎
I was supposed to pick up order at 6:00 PM but the order was not ready even around 7:30. Most irritating restaurant. When checked with the receptionist she said they are still preparing the chutney for the VADA order which is part of my order. Never going to order from this restaurant 👎. Restaurant Sucks
We booked the party hall for my sons birthday party in July. It was the worst experience ever with curry points owner, and their staff.1. There was no AC in the hall, I had to get hold of staff many times to turn on the AC.2. Their sound system wasnt working, so it was a party without music. They could get it fixed only after cake cutting when everyone stared eating food.3. Owner has worst sense of customer service and accountability.4. They couldnt food on Tim for buffet, I had to go to their front desk like 50times.
The Basmathi rice with yellow colour +boiled goat meat= Goat Dum Briyani. But funny thing is the name Briyani.Atleast I tried raita and got frustrated its so sour.
Just had the worst Paneer Biryani ever. Ordered one and got vegetable biryani with a Paneer gravy spread on top. Mirchi ka Salan was one chilli floating in water. When contacted them got a response that this is the way we prepare it.
Im going to rate this places lesser for chicken 65 briyani was not as good as it used to be last year. But the best part is, they sell idly batter, tomato chutney, home made yogurt. Thats such a cool thing. I prefer doing only take out, although there is limited dining in curry point and more tables and bar at shree briyani place which is next door. They sell different pickles and snacks freshly made as well.
Very Bad experience. Food was over spiced even I asked for medium. also it was not freshly cooked.
Worst Indian food ever. Raw spicy taste of food will never try it again. Guys lookout for other restaurant
You will be served spoiled (Frozen) biryani during weekdays. I was served spoiled biryani, I called and informed but no response. Cheap Quality and High Cost.
Usually, I dont have food poisoning, but thanks to curry point for feeding me an unhealthy meal.
Their food has amazing flavours
Quality is not there anymore, time to find another restaurant. Briyani is not taste as briyani anymore. I drove 20 mins for this.
Curry Point or Biryani Palace, serves no good Biryani. We mostly take to go order for Biryani. They mix white rice with the chicken cooked separately or they serve burnt chicken in the Biryani. They dont have no guilt in putting the burnt chicken with smoked smelling biriyani for the to go order. Indian restaurants never has customer service or values customers. The reason food industry is hard to survive and manage is because of their quality and consistency in keeping the quality of the dish. Ever time you order biriyani, you will end up in a surprise either burnt or terribly spicy or okay to eat. Sad to say indian restaurant cant keep up with their quality and quantity.
Its just plain rice, not even a single piece of chicken. Slow claps!! Please check your order before leaving this place. They cheat..Chicken dum biryani on 10/09
Love their Karrapodi chicken. It’s unlike anything I have ever eaten in a chicken appetizer.
If you are looking for best hyderabadi biryani in Seattle area.. your search stops here. not only biryani, there are multiple south indian and north indian dishes which are their speciality
Stale food. Literally. Our family was down with fever due to the vaccine so we ordered food from this place - biryani family pack and we all got sick and chicken was very very bad.Never ever Gonna go back to this place.
Great place for Andhra Curries and Biryani.
Dont buy from here anymore order a 65 biryaniThe rice was hot chicken cold out the cooler they threw on top of rice..they could atleast put in microwave to make hotI made sure to go inside and let them knowNobody should be happy paying 15 dollar for frozen food!!!!
Thali is a good option for south Indians.
Felt bad.. It was sunday @7:30 pm. We asked for Chicken curry. It was close to finish in the display bowl. So they took the last remains went into the kitchen and fried some Bell Pepper and Capsicum and gave us this after mixing the veggies (refer image). FYI.. The Chicken curry in the display is not this.. hardly any chicken was found in the take away.
Ordered Chicken pulao over the phone and picked after 20mins. The rice is not fresh and seems very old and the chicken is rotten. Worst biryani ever. Will never order again.
Two stars only for the food. Extremely poor service. They are under staff. They made me wait half an hour at the counter. My order was ready on the table but the person at the counter was busy taking orders.
I feel they cook once in a while and store these dishes in a refrigerator and add lots of salt to make it last longer. The food tastes delicious nevertheless. One of the few authentic South Indian restaurants. If only the food tastes fresh I would give it a five star. Please improve the quality.
Pretty decent Paneer dum Biryani although spicy. They probably make the most value for money dosa in the area. Paneer butter masala, Malai kofta and gobi manchurian are good. Overall, fresh and value for money food.
Just Went here as a quick lunch spot. Amazing prices!! Food was well seasoned and good serving. Got the Butter Chicken and Egg Curry. Definitely would go here again!
This is the third time this has happened. Ordered through their own online portal and they don’t keep the order ready, in fact it’s not even started until we visit the restaurant and tell them there are no updates. Horrible service!
Quantity is too low for the price they take. The food doesn’t taste any good either. Worst! I’d never recommend this to anyone!
Tandoori chicken and Ambur biryani are my favourite
Little too spicy 🥵 for curry bowls
I ordered chicken 65 starter which took 45 minutes for them to prepare and that too not cooked well
Avoid, food quality is very poor and was delivered cold. Poor quality overall.Food was delivered a day after ordering, food was stale and upon calling to complain about the issue response was denial. Poor quality food and service, delivery personnel do not wear mask or follow social distancing.
Not even deserve a star. They serve spoilt meat and food quality is disgustingly poor. Don’t go if you don’t want to fall sick. Will never buy food from here.
We get take home orders. Good food.
I tried the paneer biryani. They had a 5.99 biryani bowl and it was sufficient for 1 person. The paneer biryani was basically biryani (not dum biryani) with a kind of gravy with paneer. They gave mirchi (chilly) curry with raita (yogurt) and some onions and a lemon. It tasted good but the downside was that it is too spicy and loaded with spices. Grab yourself a drink before you dive in.
Bad quality and bad taste. Food appearance was like cooked long ago but still selling. Will never buy again from this place and will never recommend this place to anyone.
Great food, friendly staff.
We did catering and it was awesome food especially kebabKeep doin
Tasted food recently. Goat chukka, Chicken Fried Biriyani, Bisi bele bath, Sambar and Tandoori chicken. Food is simply awesome, authentic taste and home style. That made us to visit often and ordered 3 times in last 2 weeks.
Edit: The management provided a replacement and gave Karam podi chicken which was good.Chettinad biriyani was really good but only sometimes it gets really unreliable taste and quality.:——————————————————————This was the worst ever, not sure why the Chicken lollipop looks like a charred burnt , re fried chicken today. Really disappointed with the quality. Earlier the food was good but not any more.
Did catering order here last weekend. Want to mention about Chicken thalapakattu biriyani and was totally amazing. All the people in the party really enjoyed the biriyani and had a special praise for it. God quality food and keep up the good job! Also I love the special szechuan fried rice (one of my favourite in the Indian restaurants I have had recently).
Delicious comfort food, good price. Get the goat curry. Dont need to order ahead, just show up and take the food to go. Read on for the story. So I had a rough week and I really needed someone else to cook me food. I took to the search engines and found Curry Point. Sure, Ill try it. Called them to place an order and they said yes, they had that food, come in and get it. Okay.... So I went. I did read all these 1 and 2 star reviews so I was nervous, but, hey, there are 4 and 5 star reviews here too.I go in and the place has three patrons in it. Uh oh. But then as I stand there waiting for my order, a new person comes in for food every 2 minutes. That tells a different story. People want the food, they just take it home with them. And I was about to learn why.I ordered 32 oz, 16oz each of goat and chicken curry. Boring, I know, but I wanted comfort food, not a culinary experience. And thats just what I got.I drove home, put the curries over some rice, and, wow. Comfort was the exact word for it. It was delicious, sure, but there was something more to it. It was so warming, so filling, so... comforting. Sitting at home, in my own space, eating this food - I felt warm and safe. The goat curry had sizable chunks of meat, few bones, and and an enveloping evenness in the rest of the sauce. The chicken curry had even larger chunks of meat. The chicken didnt use a creamy base which surprised me, but then, Ive had a lot of coconut cream curries recently.Bottom line: This place is worth the money. Itll provide you a comforting experience if you let it. If you want a high brow experience youre going to have to go elsewhere - but thats not what this is about. This is fast, counter-serve food ready and simmering for those rainy Seattle days when you just need something warm in the comfort of your own home. Think of it like those 1950s rail car diners. No, youre not going to those for their filet mignon - but when you need some good fried chicken theres nowhere better. My recommendation: Get the Goat curry, take it home, and kick back, and relax.
Good place to get home style curries and snacks
Yesterday was our first time we went to this place. But It is no doubt not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the fine food and wine and with the decent price. We will surely come back in a short time.
Customer service is very sub par here, but the food is great value for money and is made very tasty!
Great food great price! This is my fave go-to spot for flavorful healthy Desi food. Friendly staff goes the extra mile to guarantee a good experience
I had never visited this place before. Until I tried it a few days ago. Food is freshly prepared unlike a normal restaurant which has prepped food which gets heated up. if you like a bit of spice, and have a decent appetite, this is the place to go. Value for money as well as amazing taste. They take a little longer to get the food ready even if you are the only customer (based on my experience) they prepare it fresh. so worth the wait Id say.
Quantity is too less for the price and they only fill the containers to half. When asked to fill the containers the lady at the counter said they provide food for only one person. WTH whos she to decide how much I eat. I talked to the manager/owner as well and she didnt even address the behavior of the other lady and kept saying to request to fill the container and they will do it.
This place was good and day by day the quality of their food is dropping. They had some very nice biriyanis and now it tastes little weird. Im not sure what they are adding, but you can definitely feel the difference. I kind of stopped going there and Im happy to give them a second chance if they are addressing the concerns around the quality of their food.
Best biryani in the Redmond/Bellevue area.
Worst food..they can improve the quality much more.Got a nonveg thali today, worst food I have ever had and quantity is also less. Customer service can also be improved.
Lunch buffet on Sunday is good here especially those who want spicy food they can go for non veg option
This used to be our favorite biryani spot. Took paneer biryani and chicken dum biryani for to go. Paneer biryani was extremely salty and definitely didnt taste like it used to. Chicken pieces in dum biryani were extremely dry and rice was very bland. Extremely dissatisfied with the food. With the current situation and the rare take outs that happen, this is not what one will choose. Strongly advise to maintain the quality to retain the customers.
Comparitively authentic Indian food at a great price. Good spot for lunch.
Average Indian Taste food available. Chicken 65 is my favourite - less spicy.
This restaurant is very near to my home and I visit this place more often to pick up lunch. I had a bad experience couple of times with the guy on front desk but ignored. Today I just picked one empty togo box(I guess it doesn’t even cost 2 cents) those boxes are kept outside and nothing mentioned there then he started shouting at me and said don’t take anything without asking in a rude way. Customer service is bad I am not going this restaurant again.
They have good biryani bowl. That costs less and is enough for one person lunch. No need to worry about taking home the leftovers.
Chicken biryani is very good!
Great choice, Great food, reasonable ambience.
Expected chicken 65 biriyani, but we got chilli rice. Not satisfied...
Awesome Togo food. I always get them. The chicken 65 biryani is my favorite.
Worst food I have ever eaten. How can we eat ROTTEN chicken lollipops. Such a huge disappointment while celebrating my friends marriage anniversary. Wish some officials from food quality dept ride this restaurant. Luckily I didn’t serve this food to my kids.
Tikka masala has more taste and lower price
Some dishes are not nice especially in taste. The biryanis are also not good. Snacks are very good in taste.
We come here to buy curry and never expected sugar in curry. Please either specifically call out that your Curry’s will be sweet, few may like it but if we come to know before we would look for other options and not sleep empty stomach.... please, it spoils the whole day/night.
Ambience can do better. Great food for Indians at reasonable prices.
Like to give zero stars. Today the food is so bad, we ordered paneer biryani and chicken 65 biryani, the food is so oily and its even not taste like biryani, its looks like rice is mixed with turmeric and chillipowder.. there is no taste in the food....
Good Value for money
Got spoilt rose milk here and when i complained, I got a reply that they will not give me spoiled milk next time. Not even an offer for a refund.
Has excellent non-vegetarian indian food. I really love the Biryanis here.
Their chicken biryani is the best.
Lovely indian food. Awesome flavour
Really great, cheap Indian food. Its packaged conveniently to where you can take leftovers for lunch. Its also good if you have rice ready at home, or instant rice for your lunch. I liked the butter chicken and the biryani. The free chai was really good and warm, but other than a trickle it was empty and did not get replaced the entire time we were there. Its not very clean inside, although it didnt really bother us.
The worst biriyani we had. Ordered chicken dum biriyani n chicken 65 biriyani. There was no masala. It was just some chicken n rice. Felt like It was 2 days old. N chicken lollipop just had a lot of batter with no sauce.Packing was good and they use bio degradable carry bags-2 stars
Good place to grab a quick bite. Food is hit or miss , some of the dishes are really good and others can be better. Busy on weekends.
Good food, good prices, excellent service at Curry Point.
I love the masala dosa here. Very good curries. They do daily special curries that are very good
A nice eating joint.Very good food and equally nice staff..
Some of the tastiest Indian food in the Seattle area. Especially recommend the Goat 🐐 curry 🥘 and the Dosas. Serving time can vary a lot between 2-15min, so account for that beforehand.
Once a place to any Indian dish. But now very sad to see the place trending down after multiple visits. Need to improve.
The place has been moved a couple of stores to the right. The menu has been updated and has a lot of North Indian options available, rather I should say focus has changed from South Indian food to Indian food. I typically go here for the biriyani and it was good. The new place really looks good and has more seating options now
I guess they don’t really care about quality nowadays. We got biriyani, no chicken piece..Just plain rice . I guess they need to be even more conscious while serving customers during these times.
No frills carry out place. Same quality as how they were when they started a few years ago.
We ordered biriyani yesterday ( Paneer), it was weird, definitely not worth it. I used to recommend it to my frens. Quality is day by day decreasing.
Id youre not in the know, ask, they are very helpful. If you want the spicy green sauce remember they think its just sweet. Take the small size, add rice, and Naan. Its a la carte so you have to get it all. You will get filled up on the small size but they are ready to offer you a double portion.
If you want to eat some snacks or Dosas here, you should take some pickle or chutneys from home. They are not providing any extra chutneys. You should cover all oil items &snacks with under foil paper .Not following minimum requirements.Overall, very Bad experience.
I like this restaurant because of the Andhra flavour. The curries remind us of our home.
Staff was very helpful for a first time visitor! Food was good for a small shop.
I found the food here to be very tasty but lots of ghee !!! So be forewarned if youre counting calories ! Good portion sizes for the price paid. Raita was super yummy... so all in all, food is delicious and service is friendly but there isnt much of a dining room so come for the food, not for the atmosphere :) we will return again
