Nice peaceful neighborhood. The crossroad mall is just couple of minutes walk. Schools are nearer. Lots of Indian grocery nearby. Public transport located just in front of the entrance. Lots of trees and flowers. Swimming pool, kids park, basketball court and gym facilities available. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

Find something else. Our experience was horrible to say the least. Had asked for apartment to be cleaned and pest control done before we move. See the pics of apt when we moved in. Upon complain, was told thats not possible and it was professionally cleaned. No fixing of any broken items. Our package with TV was stolen from building. Apt manager didnt help, police was helpless since Grey star refused to share camera security recording. Multiple times complained of 1st floor residents smoking inside premises, using charcoal barbeque in patio and smoke entering our apt. Apt mgmt ignored all complaints. Common to see people urinate in bushes in premises. Package theft is very common. They even charged us close to $1300 for cleaning and damages after giving us damaged apartment in the first place. Leasing office closes at will, like mom n pop store. No one follows covid guidelines in premises. Doors are always kept open, and when closed, apt mgmt changes locks without telling anyone. Till now they didnt even have fire alarms inside rooms. And of course no sprinklers or air conditioning. Noisy environment to work from home, especially in summer with people boozing outside and making noise. Cockroaches, insects and dirt very common. Weve had terrible experience. And would highly recommend finding something else.

Horrible place. Went to see the apartments and got a chance to speak with a few families living there. Everyday package theft. Old dilapidated accommodation. Not upgraded in decades. Even didnt have fire alarms in rooms till recently, and no sprinklers. No AC. Dirty, smelly and full of roaches. Leasing management is worst, never helps when living people have problems with others, or facilities. Talks rudely and acts as if theyre doing a favor by letting them live there. Some stories are so bad that cant write them in public forum. Ran as fast as I went there. Now living in apartment nearby crossroads mall, lot of neighbors moved from central park east to here citing same problems. Dont understand how can their management not see all this and fix, instead of just acting as if everything is perfect. May be for them, this is the perfect experience. Rent anywhere but here.

Find another apartment community to live. Apartment and buildings full of cockroaches all over. People urinate outside the buildings in bushes. Noisy and disturbing living. Especially working from home, very big distraction. Dogs urinate in children play area. Property manager is extremely rude and lacks empathy. Stolen package messages are very common every day in community discussion board. No AC. Very old buildings. Exhaust fan on kitchen top just blows all air inside the kitchen, no external vent. Greystar doesnt even care how property is managed. I had to live here only because the dates that I needed werent matching any other available apartment nearby. So consider this as the last resort.

Very bad management and customer service are rude. They wont pick up the garbage most of the time and wont even let you know the reason for it.They did not provided knobs to enter buildings even after 7 months being here. We were promised to get them within two weeks of being moved in. And when we call in to ask for it, they will just promise you that they will provide you next week. So in the pandemic they forced us to touch the key screen used by everyone to enter the building each time.

The company unjustly and in disbelief deducted $ 545 from my bank account for any contract that was not concluded between us and was never returned to me. In the middle of starting Corona, they told me on the phone that we would only reduce the amount by $ 45, and that it was only because of the application form, and I accepted, and of course they understood that I did not know English and the situation of Corona virus and my second language. They used me and deceived me and told me that we would reduce the amount to $ 45 and return the remaining $ 500 within 30 days, but after 4 months, they never returned the money to me and in their words I was told that this money was so that in case of cancellation we could withdraw it, which in fact they had never said to me before. I just wanted to say this, I am a lonely girl in this American country, but I never knew that there are people and companies that easily raise the rights of people like me because they know that we do not know the legal way to get our rights back. Im sorry that you spend so much unjust money on your life.

Don’t have option to give zero rating. Worst apartment, please please don’t waste ur money here.this community has roaches issue and they do not even bother to treat it. We are suffering from this issue last 6 months and we finally decided to move somewhere else. We are breaking our lease to move somewhere else we request them not to take lease break because it’s not our fault their community has roaches issue but their manager talked very rudely to us and asking for two months rent as lease break. This is really frustrating so please never ever fall for their low rent. They offer 15 months lease just to trap you so please don’t fall such offers and don’t move to this community and I request to all to write review for this community and because after my experience I really want to save people from this community.

TLDR: Bedbugs & Roaches in 2017, avoid at all costs. Five star reviews were incentivized by management.Review for an experience I had in August 2017. Management appears to be the same people now. Inspired to write this after seeing the central park east google maps marker on an unrelated search.I toured a unit in 2017, which while old did not have any immediately apparent infestations. Enticed by low rent, I remotely signed a lease for another unit with the same floor plan, which was supposedly identical. On move in day after receiving the keys, I discovered that the unit had a severe bedbug infestation (I found live bugs + evidence of more on the baseboards) along with roaches (dead ones in traps). I fortunately discovered this before I had moved in, and was thoroughly horrified and immediately went full extreme cleanliness paranoia mode so as to be sure not to pick up the infestations myself from having set foot inside the apartment (thankfully my efforts were successful). I had to threaten legal action in order to get management to agree to sign a mutual termination of lease agreement, but did not fight to avoid prorated charges for the time it took between signing the lease and getting that agreement (although I probably should have). On incentivized reviews:I was invited to join the online community for the complex after signing the lease, and iirc there was a post by management about a raffle for residents who would post reviews.

Wouldnt recommend. Not a good Management and customer service, they charge hefty amount as fine without giving a prior warning as a chance. They say they go by policy. And the same policy doesnt apply to them, they give reasons for not sending lease agreements 60 days prior and dont want to listen to our reasons on putting the trash can out for than a day extra, they charge us a 50$ fine, since it can be out only for two hours. 6 - 8pm and not more than that according to the policy. They took the trash can away. We were living for an year and nothing of this sort happened, before. We requested multiple times to give us a chance and our requests were never heard and denied. They say yes and then no, few mins later.Good to get things sorted out in mail as they keep on changing their promises.

They deserve a ZERO star rating after how to they treat their residents. The amenities are absolutely pathetic. The corridors are always foul smelling . The insides of the house has major flaws like jammed doors, damp ceilings and dripping shower faucets etc. Apartments are super old. There are roaches in the building. The community is not safe at all. They just leverage their location to prey on gullible people and then draft a huge bill once you leave the community. Even if you clean the apartment and pay all your dues. Forget about any follow ups after you leave the community because the management is super un-responsive.

Good :1. Good living area for the cost and excellent placement in terms of location(crossroads mall at walking distance) if you dont have a car.2. Responsive on activeBuilding portal. I had a bunch of broken items when i moved in, but maintenance fixed it quickly.3. Free parking(after a one time low 40$ cost for identifying your car).Bad :1. Common air ducts. If your neighbour smokes(smoking in the building is disallowed, but it happens) in the bathroom, you will definitely smell it. Had personal experience with managements reluctance to send out notification mails(They dont do personal mails even if you have a problem with just one apartment room) if someone complaints of smoke and they dont install filters between common air ducts either. Probably a risk if you have older people during the pandemic. People do smoke in their balcony as well, might be something to check if you plan to take a room and have a problem with smokers.2. There is a cockroach problem in most buildings which include 2st floor of buildings. I saw cockroaches after moving in even though the house disinfected once. But pest control comes in once a week to dust and spray if you see cockroaches and its not been a problem for about 3 months after their second visit. The cockroach problem is recurring, so have some pestControl tubes at home. The number of cockroaches i see in my apt are about 2-3 in about 3 months, so not too bad.3. Several buildings do-not have noise insulation. You will hear your neighbours(walking, talking) above you if you dont stay on 3rd floor. If you have shared walls, you might hears neighbors beside you.4. Washer dryers are not available in most units, you will not be allowed to upgrade your unit at your own cost. Common washers do not allow quilt and comforter washes. The good thing is floor mats are also not allowed in the common washer areas. But i do see pet hair in some of the washers frequently. One thing to note is, dryers(break down partially) dont have heat regularly, so you wont know your clothes wont dry unless you take it out after a full hour run. There is a call center for repair, but dont expect refunds even if they say they will refund.5. No electric charging spots for parking. Parking is also a little hard to find during peak time.Ugly1. Kitchens chimneys are ventless. There is potential your carpets will smell like your food eventually.2. If you take an apartment, ensure your curtains are working fine and dont have breaks/attached with duct tape, those will be charged on you if you ask for a repair after you sign the lease.

So far it’s been great staying here!I have nothing bad to say and am curious if all of these bad reviews just come from disgruntled tenants upon move out or if there are any actual genuine complaints even if I am unable to come up with any myself. Because I have nothing but great things to say about this community. In the months I’ve been here I haven’t experienced any of the issues I’ve read about in some of these reviews. Maybe I’ve just been one of the lucky ones but I don’t have any bed bugs and management has been nothing but prompt and gratutious in every encounter that Ive had to interact with them. The leasing professional / management staff member I’ve been in touch with the most (Mr. Mack Millender) has gone over and beyond for me from literally walking me through every step of the leasing process and helping me jump through the proper hoops in order to get me into my first apartment with no rental history and not great credit. I’m sure I haven’t had experiences with every staff member but I can remember all 3 I’ve interacted with they were all pleasant. The other two being Leslie Urenda and Caitlin White.Management has been less than an email or short walk down to the leasing office away for any issues Ive had or advice I was seeking. Even before I had signed any paperwork or handed over any money they were super nice and helpful during this whole covid-19 thing when other apartment locations would barely even take my phone call. Which is the only reason I haven’t had a chance to try out some of the amenities but I believe the basketball court opened back up and the pool looked nice. Seems like they refinished their entire gym as well so I’m looking forward to trying that out once amenities start to open back up.In total, I’d say this is a great place for anyone looking to get closer to the city at a very affordable price. They have made renting my first apartment experience very easy and enjoyable so far. Thanks for everything guys, looking forward to the next year here and potentially signing another years lease😊

Top 2 reasons to choose this apartment are:1. Indian Neighbors.2. Cheap rent only on random days or when there are many unsold units.Tons of reasons for not choosing this apartments are:1. Shared laundry which suck most of the times. Washer and Dryers are too old in all buildings and are NOT in good condition.2. Heaters are very old/ rusty/antique modeled and consumes lot of power. So expect high energy bills during winters3. Compact parking space4. More utility bills (price breakdown is water, sewer, re-water, re-sever, admin, trash etc totaling to 150+ on top of rent)5. More bugs/roaches in the community

If you need a cheap place in Bellevue and dont mind the fact that the place is falling apart its fine. Otherwise, avoid managment at all costs. They are some of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. I have a newly renovated apartment that had several issues on move in that were never addressed the almost 2 years I was here. I had cockroaches in my apartment from the tenant next door, for months. I had to have pest control out twice, it was disgusting. You can hear every conversation through the walls, and the front desk staff changes so often, that you never get to know the people who manage your home. Its close to bus stops and Bellevue, so 1 star for that at least.

Unfortunately, I left this place because of many negative situations that I experienced here. I lived here for 2 yrs. Most of the staff are very friendly and the community is nice, but after living here for a year, I noticed a lot of bugs in my apartment. I contacted staff and immediately they opened a report for bed bugs, right after I told them that that wasn’t the case. The exterminator went to my home and confirmed that it wasn’t bed bugs, they were roaches and they were crawling from under my main door. The next day I saw a few roaches in the hallway outside and I video recorded them to show to staff but little did I know that the following day I was gonna receive a bill for bed bugs. I contacted the office and they said that I had no choice but to pay the bill! I was furious and I went to get my lease and it said tenants don’t get charge for exterminators unless it’s for bed bugs. I called their corporate office and she said she would call the manager to waive the bill but they never did and I was left with a bill to pay. I also had problems with the tenants on the 1st floor being too loud, they had parties every weekend. I called security and they never came. Then I rented a carport and someone kept parking in my spot and when I would go to the office to report it, instead of them doing their job by solving the issue, they would send me to get license plates numbers and make n model of the car (most of the time I would go with my 1 yr old daughter and still wouldn’t care). People need to check the better business bureau. This place is rated an F for failure to respond to complaints. There were 69 complaints in the past 3 years and 22 complaints in the past 12 months

Review №39

This might be one of the worst apartments Ive ever stayed in.1. Apartments are poorly cleaned prior to move-in. Upon arrival inside the complex, what was believed to be rodent poop was found on top of the cabinets in my unit.2. Scheduled power outages are a regular occurrence (monthly). If you work remotely, expect to have your work schedule inconvenienced on at least a monthly basis.3. Tenants trip fire alarms for the entire building at an appalling rate. Ive seen more fire trucks at an apartment complex at this property than any other Ive stayed in (roughly monthly).4. Doors have no weather seal around them and have ~1/2 gap at the bottom. This results in a constant stream of cold air into your apartment from under the door that maintenance staff do not have a solution for. So congratulations! Youre paying to heat all the common areas of the building (which are kept at a minimal temperature leaving the tenants to pick up the tab).5. Maintenance staff (which Ive needed to have them come into my unit ~5 times in the 4 months Ive lived here) do not clean up their messes. Want them to unclog a drain? Expect black specks to cover your entire sink and counter top and hair to be sitting in your toilet.6. Snow removal is nonexistent. If you plan on even trying to exit the complex after it snows, good luck. The entire uphill climb out of the complex does not get properly addressed and youre effectively left to mother nature to give you reasonable ability to depart.7. Recycling does not exist. The property claims to have a recycling program but requires you to use blue trash bags for disposal. After having been to every grocery store in a 5-mile radius, I have yet to find a single carrier that supplies blue garbage bags, and the front office cant even provide a source for the bags.8. Is water pressure important to you? How about hot water? Water pressure is mediocre at best, and good luck getting two full showers in with hot water for both.9. Unless you explicitly ask for a sheet to fill out for pre-existing damage when you move in, one will not be provided. Cover your butt when you move in and ensure you list all damage or prepare to be billed upon move-out.Do the pros outweigh the cons? Thats up to you, but the items noted above tell enough of a story for me to warrant ranking this at the bottom of the barrel in places Ive previously stayed.UPDATE:10. Be prepped to lose ~$165 of your deposit to cleaning costs that you will be expected to pay from your security deposit. We sure did.

The only thing this place has going for it is its location. Aside from that it has few redeeming qualities. From the first time we stepped foot on property the leasing staff has done nothing but lie to us. When we call them out on their lies they try turning it back on us, then try to follow up with meaningless concessions. No one in the office communicates, so we receive conflicting information every time we have a question about something. They either provide too little notice (less than 24 hours) or too much (2-3 weeks when youll forget about it) for important events that impact your daily life. Here are just a few items weve encountered since living here:ELEVATOR ISSUEWhen we touring the property during our search there were no signs posted that the elevators were non-functioning and would not be repaired at all, nor was it explained verbally. It wasnt until after we confronted management on the issue and that it would have impacted our decision to rent that signs were finally posted. During our confrontation with the leasing office we were called liars to our face about informing us.PARKING ISSUEAfter wed parked our car for the night they posted temporary No parking signs. The signs stated cars had to be moved early the next morning or be towed at owner’s expense. When confronting the manager regarding the short notice, she admitted that they didnt post notice until after 5pm and used scare tactics (her words, not mine) to get people to move their cars.PAINTING ISSUEWe received notice from the Leasing Office that they were going to be pressure washing and painting the exterior of our building and that we would need to have our balconies clear of any and all items. We reached out to the Office regarding the timing of when this would occur because we are getting married and will be hosting out-of-town guests and could not, realistically, have our apartment stuffed with exterior furniture, grills, etc. Each time we spoke with the Leasing Office, we received a different answer on when this would occur. When the official email went out to clear our balconies, we were told to ignore it because the project was delayed. A few days later we noticed they had started painting and had sent a follow up email requesting items be removed from balconies. Again we approached the leasing office regarding timing when they told us to speak with the manager and they would schedule a time for us to talk with her. We showed up at the appointed time only to find out no appointment had ever been made. The manager proceeded to tell us we should have paid attention to the emails completely disregarding the information we had been provided by members of the leasing office all the while looking clearly disgusted and rolling her eyes.DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

*** The Worst place to Live *** I have been living there for a year now. Lot of bugs / roaches. No flexible dates in cleaning that even. Rent is increased by at least $150 every year. Reserved Parking extra. $30 for Garbage alone. Nasty / Smelly hallway. No Microwave oven. You have to buy one (this is ok) , Washer dryer in the bed room.. No doors for it - Enjoy the music of the washer/dryer and the smell of the detergent when sleeping... Please Please look for some where else to live. Dont be fooled by where the apartment is located ! All the very best in finding a good apartment.

I wish I can give negative stars rather than a 1 star. Management are fine, they tried to do their best with the lack of staffs. The problem of this is all about uneducated residents. We need securities not just to keep the place safe, but also keep the place in order. If your kids are hurt or got hit by a car, dont blame the driver. Blame yourself why you let this happen when we have a nice basketball court, playground, fitness room, pool and you still choose to let your kids to play in the parking lot.

I am one of the residents in this complex and will give it 2 stars cause it has a convenient accessibility to grocery stores, bus stop, Redmond and downtown. But,talking about the management, and the facilities that they provide, Ill not pick this complex for the second time. All the furnitures will be delivered to the main office and not the individual buildings, tenants are responsible to carry their stuff to their apartments! The pool and the barbecue is just accessible during the Summer time! something that they didnt tell us in the beginning. The service that you can get varies from staff to staff. It seems they and the manager dont know what can they offer. For instance after buying a heavy piece of furniture, if there is a need to return, having the labels and everything, one of the staff may tell tenants to ship it from the office and the other may force the tenants to load it on their cars and ship it by themselves. The langue which suppose to be reservable, is just available during the office hours for visiting friends and not for any party purposes or events and not reservable!and ...

Zer0 is more like it not even 1 star, this place sucks big time. lived here last 2 years and what a mistake that was. The only plus to this place is location everything else is a nightmare from the messed up parking situation to horrible staff the gives you run around nickle and dime you to shady characters at night outside and the invisible security to the permanently non-working elevator that they wont tell you when you tour to the stench in every hallway to package stealing neighbors and zero support from managment. Basically save yourself endless stress and find another place. Its just not worth it at any price!Good luck.

I want to rate it 0 star because we applied this apartment online and then we have been told that apartment will be on construction in one month and the lease can only be one month. They never told us about that when we visited. We are asking to refund our application fee which is 90 dollars for two people, but they just ignores our messages and calls. I never saw that kind of management before. I still have that one month term lease agreement which cost us almost 100 dollars. So stupid and rude!

Have been living here for an month now. Great experience so far apart from a few initial hitches during move-in.Good:Spacious, Recent renovations e.g. kitchen, exterior paint, bathrooms, Location, Helpful office staff, Greenery in common areas. Not so good:They are a bit old which is visible in some interiors which have not been renovated e.g. door hinges of cabinets in rooms are flimsy, so if we are not careful they come off while opening closing of door.No in house laundry. Most of the apartments dont have in house laundry. Every building has a common laundry room, which is pay and use.Overall, I am happy with the stay here.

Nightmare ----Avoid at all costs! My daughter never even paid for the application fee. Her potential roommate did. Now management wants to claim an application fee equals a lease. My daughter and her roommate were interested in this place and were inquiring about it. I read the previous reviews....BED BUGS, lack of management and lack of transparency about construction. They are never at fault according to management, yet so so many bad reviews. I told my daughter. Dont live there. She never paid for the application fee. They did get 1 0f 2 application fees. With just one application fee, management wants to claim they owe a security deposit and an adminstrative fee. No application. No lease. No move-in. Just inquiry. All of this was for a potential move-in date at the end of August. Yet they want to charge $500. They are an unethical rip off. No 2nd application fee paid. Nor will there be any Administrative Fee or and Security Deposit Charged or Paid. I am writing to the Attorney Generals Office, Consumer Protection Division for this Managements unethical, unlawful intimidating and unprofessional response to inquiring about an apartment. BEWARE! BEWARE BEWARE!

The apartments and most of the staff I dealt with deserve zero ratings. They dont care about pleasant living. They get plenty of fish working at Microsoft and care so little. More so, they are extremely manipulative who will never give you back your deposit. They would post ADs on craigslist for apartments and put price which are few $100 cheaper than they really are.

One of the worst, avoid at any cost. Fell for the 5-star reviews, seems like all are sponsored.I signed a lease with them for a 2bd/1ba mid-June for July 30th move-in date. Less than a week prior to move-in they informed that move-in date is pushed to Sep 1st due to ongoing construction. Ive all my household items and car being shipped from NY state reaching here by August 1st, tickets being booked for my family includes an infant and all that the management could do for me was Were Sorry about the situation and an alternate apartment with $600/month increase in rent from the lease amount. No compensation were offered for the mess up from their end and informed that they are forced to cancel the lease. Me and my family are stranded and in a lot of mental stress because of this.

BEWARE of the fine prints in their application form. If you apply, then they will ask you to pay both refundable and non refundable security deposit (which is a hefty sum) along with application fee. As soon as you application is processed (mostly you wont be rejected), the entire security deposit becomes non refundable. No concept of holding fee!The point is that even if I did rent an apartment, I wouldnt not lose my entire refundable deposit unless I damage the apt. for repairs worth that amount. Why would i lose the entire refundable deposit if I didnt even rent the apt. and decide to not sign the lease???

My experience with Central Park has been really bad. In June, went to book an apartment for July and they showed me a real nice 1BHK which was all renovated. We asked the lady who showed us the apartment about how the new apartment is going to be. We got a response that it is going to be exactly similar since they are renovating all apartments. Thus I got the apartment booked for July 20th.I had to vacate my current apartment on July 2nd week and thus I called to check if the apartment is available before July 20 and the response I got was in negative. In the first week of July, I got a call from Central Park stating that my apartment is ready to move in. Since I had to move anyway, I packed all my things vacating my current apartment. Completed the joining formalities at Central Park and collected the keys and paid the month’s rent. The lady on the counter walked with me to do the initial apartment inspection. As soon as they opened the door of the apartment, we were totally dumbstruck. The apartment was not at all renovated and it seemed like it has not been cleaned for long. The heater vents were hanging loosely and the top of cooking range was disassembled. We could see a guy running towards the room to assemble the cooking range top.We let them know our displeasure and we were back in the leasing office. The manager was totally not bothered expect she kept saying I understand, but I cannot do anything. This is the best I could offer. She was offering me another non-renovated apartment in 3rd floor with a higher rent and also kept saying that the rent I have been offered for the original non-renovated apartment was still good. It was like taking advantage of the fact that I have no other place to stay now. When we checked for the reason for not renovating the apartment, the answer we got was that they have stopped all the renovations and they forgot to inform me about the same. The lady over the counter who showed me the apartment initially was new and she didnt know that it will not be renovated. They were trying to cover up for their mistake with all kind of lame excuses. Without allowing them to take advantage of me, I refused to move in to this apartment and asked them for a refund. After the incident, they stopped responding to my emails. For deposit refund, they offered to refund everything except their application fee.If you ever plan to book one in here (which I would not recommend) make sure to have the confirmation about the apartment in email and the condition of the apartment verified with them. Going by this case, there is a possibility that they offer a renovated apartment and later decide not to renovate it. Thank fully, I have some good friends, otherwise I would have been homeless after all they have done.Avoidable...

I emailed Central Park East to see if I could tour a place. They confirmed I could tour a place on a certain day. Here are the exact words from the employee who emailed me:You can stop by on Sunday. [Name of staff member] will be showing you the apartment on Sunday.Didnt hear anything back from them before Sunday. Went there on Sunday. The place had been rented out already. No word, no notice, no information that I shouldnt have made the trip over to Bellevue. When I told the staff member that I was promised a tour, the staff member seemed shocked and disgusted that I would bring it up. They had that attitude of ...really? as if I was too much of a nuisance for them.Frustrating and unprofessional service. I will not be visiting or renting here.

Strongly NOT recommend. So sick of this place, especially the unprofessional manager. They will NEVER take complains. My daughter went to office to complain about broken drier- our drier broke 4times just in this month, so she was very mad already. She wanted to talk with manager but the front lady just ignored and left my daughter, because the lady thought my daughter is minor, which she is not. However, the lady requested to talk with my husband. (Manager was watching while eating subway). So my daughter got more mad and kept complaining, and suddenly the manager ran out and yelled at my daugther. The manager kicked out my daugther by insulting, and threatening to call cops. ALSO, the manager humiliated my husband about his language barrier, and she actually said that she cant talk with him and kicked out him with my daugther. She does NOT know what professionalism is.The manager and the front lady discriminated us with age, race, and language. And we will NOT forgive them.
