Best place for some good vegetarian and vegan Indian food. Its bit crowded usually and they do no take seat reservation, so you have to typically wait 15 to 30 minutes. This place has accessible parking and entrance. Food is usually spicy and hot as per Indian standards. Mumbai Street side menu is a must try.
I ordered some of the Indian street foods from chatkazz And I was really surprised to see the way it was presented as well as the taste. Belonging from Delhi I know how street foods are, I’m able to get the same taste in Chatkaz. I really recommend everyone who is free keyboard street foods specially Indian street food should order from Chatkaz. highly recommended
Vegetarian food never tasted or looked this good. We love to come over to Chatkazz as everything is always cooked just right and the presentation is just gorgeous! I must admit, Im not a big fan of vegetarian food, but I look forward to eating over here, whenever we get the opportunity. With the pandemic knocking on our door, Chatkazz does a pretty good job in getting your details down and ensuring that you eat in comfort while maintaining your distance with other patrons. Great place to have your lunch in peace. Keep it up Chatkazz!
Had lunch, dinner and snacks at Chatkazz for few times...food is mostly good...wide variety of Indian vegetarian food...especially Chhole Bathure are awesome...service is quick and friendly...normally it’s busy and bit noisy...sometimes you have to wait in que to enter the restaurant...plenty of parking available.
1st about covid safe guidelines: Details to be entered on the entrance which are promptly checked by one of the staff. The venue serves vegetarian and vegan food.. all the way from starters, Indian breakfast favourites, popular street style foods, chaats, drinks to with and last but not the least lots of main course and desert options as well. The decor is nice and vibrant, the service is quick and the food is reasonably priced.

Order 26079 dt 4/10. Not happy with what I got, dispite being a thorough fan of CK for years. Professionalism has gone down on all fronts. Website online ordering platform needs review. Lots of user unfriendly features. The staff need better customer service etiquette while answering phones. The phone was banged even before I had completed my request. The the order itself was not handled well. Too spicy though I made sure, I had unticked the spice tick boxes. The Indian bread was too chewy not up to the mark. And one of the ordered raitha was missed out from the order.

Fantastic! Just enjoyed an authentic Indian dinner with no meat. Didnt miss the meat at all. Superb choice of vegetarian dishes. All full of flavour and aroma. Very reasonable prices. The food arrived pretty fast. The waitresses were very helpful as well. Was pretty full even though it was a Monday afternoon. No bookings, walk ins only. The ambiance was great as well. Highly recommended if you want experience a little bit of India in the Hills.
I am a big fan of chatkazz harris park. However, I also visit chatkazz bella vista sometimes. Mostly my experience is great however last time I ordered Manchurian and Poori thali and it was ok. Manchurian had little bit more salt. That is why I am giving four stars. Otherwise I love chatkazz and will visit again, no doubt.
Got dahi puri packed and they gave barely 4 tea spoon. Had to get curd from outside ! Pathetic!
I used to love Chatkazz. The flavours were and still is unique and colourful. What has happened is that they are victims of their own success.As of late consistently I have been having sub par experience. You always have to wait. Even under covid condition, take away experience is not that great. Not that staff dont care, they are extremely busy. They are talking to customers and taking calls and doing uber. When business picks up, usually management scales up. These folks didnt, they are operating like they still only have customer flow like when they were new. I would love to have good experience from the restaurant. The food is nice, but its a real hurdle to get to the food.
This was and still is the best place for Indian Street food in Sydney. I also have to say our waiter Sujan was just fabulous. Served us well and also because one item was delayed from the kitchen he gave us an extra curry. Just great
That 4th star is for the waitress who served us, who had memorized all the menu dish numbers and their subsequent names. Otherwise, in reality 3 stars are appropriate. No ice creams were available despite a big board saying try our cassatta and 2 full menu pages on ice creams. Food was average. Daal makhani had more tomatoes than daal. Chinese bhel tasted like it was cooked in ketchup..vada/sambhar was hard as if just removed from the fridge..
In my 30 years of eating Samosa this has been the worst. No crisp, too much salty in layer as well as filling. Filling was in fact sour. Giving three stars as Dosa was alright and had good experiences before. If you cannot make Samosa taste good then what else. Chamcham was also too sweet like some roadside vendor in India. Hope they lift their game
Was a rainy day, had high expectations for jalebi but turned out opposite way, it was so sour ruined my fun, better to try before ordering big amount.
Extremely spicy despite being instructed to make it mild.. not the same place it used to be.. good range of Indian street food but its very average.. uncomfortable seating chairs and tables both does not remain steady... its easy and cheap place for a quick bite...
I am very particular about food. I’ve tried almost all the Indian restaurants in Sydney, I can say Chatakaaz make the most authentic Indian food in the city. Service is very good and fast. They gave us amazing service however, staff sukhvir is very good host i see she was going every table after 5 min. But Food was spicy for kids. But good thing is that she gave us sweet yogurt. Everything good. I ‘ll recommend and return.
I am a regular at Chatkazz for over 5 years now. Right from Harris Park n now Bella. Food has always been delicious. I have recently felt that the quantity and size of most items has reduced and the price has been on the incline. To be more specific, Chole Bature is 3/4 the size of what it used to be and the price has gone up as well. Either a change in size or price would make sense. But change in both is a ripoff for customers.
Chatkazz quality is becoming poor, seems to they are unable to serve quality food as they become busy.My daughter declined to eat their Kesar Iliachi Shrikhand usually she loves it much. Food became so spicey to eat.I never think going to any other restaurant till now but now I have to look for alternative places

The Dabeli is amazing - good balance of spiciness, butter, and crunch. The chole bhutture could have been spicier. Could have used the chole from the aloo tikki chaat instead. The meetha paan was also a little too sweet.
They serve quick enough even during busy hours. Prices are well. Staff members has positive attitude. Theyve taken QR scan to a next level. Ordering food is also done by QR scanning. Well done team. Definitely will visit again.
Food wasn’t bad but not the best Indian food in Sydney. There was a birthday party next to where we were seated and it made the restaurant noisier. The food was probably a bit on the expensive side for the quantity served. I will recommend it with a better ambience and serving size.

I am a regular to Chatkaaz for more than 2 years. Recently, I found hair in Chatkaaz Bella Vista take away food twice. Once in wada Paw and second time in Tawa Pulav. I sent mail to them about this but never received any reply which is very surprising. One this is being unhygienic and no attention being given on such complain is different level of audacity.

Polite staff, fast service and same food quality every time.We had issue with one of the items first time in years (it was cold and dry), I didnt want to upset anyone so just mentioned it lightly to the mgr/owner and immediately he apologized and didnt charge us for the item. It wasnt a big amount and I was not expecting any refund as well but I was highly impressed with the attitude and service. Good job guys.

I came in last week. Very good service and food . I was first time and served by AKASH, He gave me very good service and good attitude with his fast service. He was so fast and honest that I had ever seen. I recommend that place chatkazz specially for Indian foods and drinks.
Terrible food, bad attitude of staff and if you provide feedback all you get is disrespect. This happened to me consistently in the last 2 visits. No more going back to get myself insulted, waste my money and only get disappointment. My recommendation is to avoid it.
Ordered food during lockdown. Stale chana in the bhatura, stale Veg Kolhapuri, curry was all water and cream, hardly any veggies. They are serving stale/expired food. They said this is how it is supposed to taste when called them. They said its good. They dont deserve any support during the lockdown. Im not ordering from here until their full operations resume so that I dont get stale food again. What a waste of $$.
Food is pretty good, but the service was simply HORRIBLE. We had the misfortune of being served by Navneet, and she was the rudest and slowest waitress I’ve ever had.Constant eye rolling when we dared ask for an extra plate, fork or napkin and just took her forever to come over and take our order.Won’t be back!!!
I just paid 22 dollars for a plate of chole bhature. I dont think the establishment is justified to charge such exorbitant amount just because it is pandemic. I ordered a plate of chole bhature and was charged 15 dollars for it . They packed only half an container of chole and when I called out that it is not enough they said it is standard size and thats what they will give . I didnt want to argue and offered pay for extra and they charged me 7 dollars for another small container of runny chole . The staff was really rude. Their Taste standards have gone from great to average over the years but they are looting for tasteless food now. Thank you for showing your integrity chatkazz. Will never order from you ever again.
The foods were lovely. Some of them are really spicy. Lovely service too. Desserts were too sweet for us. Unfortunately, I have to give it 2 stars as it gave us a case of gastro after we dined.
My last few take away orders have been disappointing. Lately the taste and standards are dropping. The staff is not as courteous as it used to be. The food is always spicy despite requests otherwise. Should I give more chances to once a fantastic Indian restaurant? Not sure!!

Water will be trickling on your shirt and pant from ceiling gutters. Price doesnt match with quality and quantity of food. If you to contact manger to make a complaint; he wouldnt cre to talk to you. He simply brush you off.Do not encourage this restaurant at all.Too much notice , feels like a trashy pub.

Very bad behavior of chatkaaz staff on pickup orders. they just ship the card for payment and go somewhere else without telling where the food is this happened 3rd time in a row.manager is unprofessional.
Ordinary Indian cuisine dishes (poori bhatoora) were below average. Bhatoora had too much salt and was almost inedible. Alloo with poori were sweet (🤦🏻♂️) and instead of potato there was tooo much oil in curry. Dosa chutney was stale.Never again!!
This place had the most amazing Indian street food. They serve only vegetarian meals and cater to Jain/no onion and garlic requirements. Also note there is no alcohol served here. Apart from the dosas you cant go wrong at Chatkazz. Highly recommend the Chinese Bhel and Dahi Puri (dahi bhalla). They dont take bookings and its always packed. So make sure you go early. We left at around 9pm on a Saturday night and customers were still flocking in and having to wait.

Il we are a regular and usually don’t have any major issues but have to give the feedback because of poor service this time. While taking the money you are told it will be 10 mins and 40 mins later still nothing. On top of that the staff is not even willing to acknowledge or apologise. The success of the restaurant it seems is being taken for granted.

Always love coming here but the flavours seem to be getting more spicy and intense. Can sometimes not finish the meal because everything tastes overpowering. Love their quick and friendly service.

Chatkazz Bella Vista food is tasty as well as the other one. But this one is much more spacious comfortable sitting. Friendly staff. One star rating I have given less as he the person who was recording the temperature gave preference to his friend than us. we were waiting in line before them and we were also the same number of people. But he allocated the seats first to his friend.
You always feel there are so many people around with too noise.Service is good. But, food is extremely spicy.We tried their Jini Dosa. It was only a garlic taste, nothing else.

Got my order wrong twice whilst it being frozen cold, but overall once it was remade, the food was really nice. It was Really crowded though, so book seatings if you desire to dine in, so u dont have to wait for the daily average of about 1 and a half hours of aimlessly standing wasting time in the process.
