Its a spacious are dedicated for the smart city. Currently only has few government offices like drug controllers office and AYUSH dept. Has a nice field where we can play or walk in the morning. Needs a lot of cleaning to make it look good.

Only thing from east side. Wall near BSNL tower trespassing should be done to maintain cleanliness.. as some bad people make morning dirty

Vaccine institute or vaccine depot in Belagavi was constructed in 1909. The then it was established to manufacture vaccines for small pox and later rabies. But now mainly it is used as office for District Health Department. The construction was nice and indo- British style. Chief material used for construction is granite stone. All the doors and windows have glass pannels. One can appreciate the quality and passion of construction of yester years. The buildings in the complex are relatively in good shape despite poor maintenance. Once you enter into the building will feel nostalgic.

If we know the City of Belagavi (BGM) nice and proper that means we mustve visited the green areas of the earst while Vaccine Depot, definitely. It is the the deep-lung of the city to provide a green tinge to the city.

Nice place in Belgaum to chill out with friends, best place in Belgaum for photoshoots...But one thing needed is it should be kept cleaned.. its not governments responsibility to clean it, but it is our so whenever you hang out with you friends in Depot please make sure dont throw chips packets, bottles etc. Carry it along with you.. this small change can make the place more attractive..

It is one of the good things in Belgaum that is been naturally brought up. It has some scenic iew, one interested in photography should go there. It is adjoin to the Indian Air Force training ground, having more value. You can also find Glass house inside Vaccine depot

I was fortunate to stay in the British Bungalow when my dad was the Director of the Institute. we spent our childhood days happily away from the hustle bustle of my native Bangalore..Its an awesome place completely drowned in nature and iam sure all Belgaumites would be so proud of this Heritage place. I visit this place with my hubby n daughter whenever we happen to visit Belgaum..such a nostalgic moment..
