The hotel is situated inside a small road, but you will be surprised once you are inside the hotel, really nice place. It was perfectly clean with good service and staffs were very helpful and well mannered. Even the restaurant was great.Only thing to keep in mind when in belgaum is not to hire local autos or cabs, cus they loot the person a lot so try booking ola cabs only.

It was a good stay at Samudra. Rooms were clean. Food was tasty. Staff were well behaved.But there was few mosquitoes in the room.

Hotel is located in the heart of the city. So it is convenient for some people but if you want to enjoy holiday then I would not suggest it. As the road to the hotel is occupied with vegetable vendors whole day.

Hotel manager Mayur was extremely helpful and very polite. The food preparation was excellent and had pocket friendly prices. I would surely recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Belagavi.

My lunch experience at Pebbles restaurant was awesome yesterday.The food of pebbles was perfect. Service too 👌. The entire ambiance has been tastefully done as per the theme of Samudra & pebbles. Paintings on the wall or the decor set a perfect backdrop for your selfies. You may have a party organised at that place or an event done at the Coral banquet hall. The rooms also have a classy touch of beige, white n golden.

Reception is only bigger but not the rooms , only 24 small rooms are there ,bad quality food ,serving size is very small in room service, restaurant staff is very rude specially restarent manager,he thinks he is bigger than guests ,he doesnt know how job is based on guests. No buffet system, very limited option in breakfast .

Not worth a visit. Wouldnt recommend anyone to go there. We had visited there for breakfast and besides sheera/upma/misal they have nothing on their buffet. Omelet is given provided we ask for it. Fruits/Tea Coffee once over is not even refilled. Staff is busy in their own world. They are not bothered about customer wants and needs. They treat you as if we have gone there to eat free of cost. Guys my serious recommendation is not to visit Hotel Samudra and waste your precious time and money.

One of the worst experiences. The hotels restaurant was closed which wasnt told to us until we reached and enquired about it. The washrooms were shabby and broken mug was given for use. There was absolutely no hot water coming whatsoever which was of sheer inconvinience. There was a glass bottle which had some unclean water provided as drinking water. To add to all of this was the breakfast next day. Inspite of being mentioned as breakfast included in our room booking we were only provided 2 omlette. When enquired, we were told rest all things like boiled egg, bread etc were chargeable. Luckily we were only there for a night !! Think twice before booking the place. Looks are highly deceptive

Worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. They have btw charged for each and every thing that Im gonna list below.1. No hot water in the bathroom, when asked the receptions reply was oh did you need it?2. Had asked for the password of the complementarywifi for atleast 10 times and every time the answer was, yes sir we are sending it to you, Im posting this through my net3. Restaurant not operational, completely understandable, but if Im ordering the food from outside, and have requested for the plates to eat the food, atleast dont make me wait for that for an hour4. We were made to pay 400 extra for commentary breakfast. The breakfast: Bread Omlette, Upma and Sandwich.This is just a big scam

Surprisingly, Hotel Samudra was very good hotel. While booking on MakeMy Trip was not very sure of the quality, however, after checking-in I realized my decision was good. A great value for money, and good for family stay, as well. The room (executive room) was small but decent, clean and had all the basic facilities of a 3 star hotel - a King bed, tea-coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, table and chair, and toiletries. The in-house restaurant (Pebbles) was fantastic serving good quality food and service. They have parking in the basement with capacity of around 6-7 cars, and some bikes. I liked the lobby which was beautifully decorated giving the feeling and comfort of high end hotels. But all good things comes with some drawbacks. The location of the hotel may not suit everybody. It is quite busy area (shops) and old with not very wide roads. If you are coming here on Saturday, you would find vegetable market in front of the hotel and reaching this place with a big car may be difficult. The alternative way could be that you come via Old PB road. Overall, I had a nice family stay as a break-journey enroute to Goa.

Staying at this hotel is very bad experience for me for 1 night. They are charging Rs 1400 for even 2 hrs before chechin (there is no 24 hours checkout option here ) . Reception we cant sit as its covered with glass and no ac /no fan (we cant sit more than 10 minutes ). No buffet system for Break fast. Only with limited choice of 3 itemes u order like idli,dosa,poha only. Food quality is so worst , too oily, too slaty ,burned food they will serve, no hygeine,Service staff specially restaurant manager is very rude in nature. I got stomach upset after eating just rice and dal at this hotel. Billing is not good, sthey are not professionals to provide bills like get, many mistakes even after insisting for proper billing. Rooms are very small , I donot want to visit again here even its for free. Many other hotels like anupam for cheap, sankam for moderate cost available at belgaum.after visiting even u also may write this type review for sure. Happy search alternative

This is an example of a good hotel losing its value, perhaps due to Short staffing on account of Covid.Pros:- Its relatively new hotel. The amenities in the room are good.- Food was decent, although not much choice due to low occupancy.Cons:- The location is in a small lane, was difficult to locate at midnight.- No lights were on when we reached at midnight. Had to grope in the dark parking and up the stairs - lift was not operational.- said the room is upgraded to Suite which was the major reason for selecting this place as we were a family. However understood that the hotel does not have a suite. Room was tiny, and we (couple and 2 kids) could barely cramp into the bed.- TV was not working.In total, was not worth the value of Rs....charged for a stay. Checked in at midnight and wanted to spend time till lunch. but decided against it and checked out after breakfast.

Hotel is not worth for cost paid , Worst food quality ,specially breakfast served as per order with limited 3 itmes,no buffet system ,food is oily ,burned omlet served in breakfast. Rooms are very small around 150 sqft only . No smart card for rooms still using manual locks. Service and behaviour of the staff is worst and staff at reception do not have courtesy for guests. It was my mistake that I chosen to stay 1 day. Even early check-in charges are Rs1400 just +room tariif. I personally donot recommend anyone to stay here.

Location and approach road : 1* out of 5.After a long drive one desires to have a hotel in a good locality with easy approach roads. However this hotel is situated in a dingy area, entering which you will feel asking yourselves is it worth paying 2.5K for this place? The roads are single lanes and you will get stuck if any 4 wheeler approaches in opposite direction. Getting out of this area is a mess.Parking : 3* out of 5.There is a cellar parking where parking your car is slightly tricky, further there was no sign of watchman. Feels risky.Lobby and reception : 3* out 5Reception is helpful and the hotel lobby is big and has multiple chairs for sitting. House keeping staff were helpful too.Rooms and room service : 2* out of 5Room and stay : 2*The room feels so crammed. Felt like cheated for the money paid. Dont even think of opening curtains here, you will get view of dilapidated buildings and slum. Inside the room There is one small chair and a very small table. 2 people cant sit and have food. Bathroom is crammed too. Light fixtures were not working. No tissue paper or dustbin in bathroom. They dont even keep complimentary bottled water in the room. You have to order.Having the hotel in such a pathetic area without any decent restuarants nearby it was a horrible experience staying here when it comes to food. There was no restuarant in the hotel and nobody even intimated it while booking. Lame reason was given for not having restuarant. You will have to fend your food from Zomato.Overall verdict : It is utter waste of money coming here to this place. Instead Hubli seems to be a better place for stop over while driving from Blore to Mumbai or Pune. Hotel Naveen for same price offers 10 times better amenities than this place.

The hotel is located in the old parts of Belgaum city called Saraf Galli. The interior of the hotel is really good and the complimentary breakfast is good. You get South Indian/Maharashtrian/North Indian cuisine.The service of the hotel is a bit dubious. They listen to your query patiently but delay in delivering the required. You need to keep a follow-up on your requests.Nearby to the hotel there are no good restaurants which can cater the needs. The closest hotel I personally liked was Nalpaak restaurant which has a thaali system. Full plate is 180Rs & Semi plate is 120Rs. The taste is really good and worth the money.The rooms are not very spacious neither very compact. The wifi password wasnt provided to me despite of multiple follow-ups.Overall a decent hotel, the price is your luck if you get a good deal in MMT or Trivago, then you can certainly go ahead with this option.

Our stay at Samudra was pleasant. The only native part is that the rooms are on the smaller size. The staff is corteous. The breakfast spread was small but tasty. Rooms are well appointed. The food quality is very good. This is ideal for people visiting belgaum for shopping at Shahapur.

Good hotel in an old area of Belgaum! The rooms are small but clean and comfortable, the ACs powerful, the staff are courteous and helpful. Theres limited basement parking for cars. The executive room isnt for more than 2 people with a kid. An extra bed is actually a mattress on the floor! Overall, a great value for the low price!

It was very bad experiance as the hotel was not ready for the guest tjere was no extra bed provided no amineties., breakfast was delayed as the timong was 8.30 bit the breakfast was goven at 9.30 and there was no buffet only two options ver there for the breakfast puri bhaji and omlette woth no bread nothing and they served is on the steel bowls which was beey disgusting. THE GENERAL MAMAGER OF THE HOTEL WAS VERY RUDE VERY VERY RUDE. As i spoke to him about the breakfast he was raising voice at us as if we are staying for free very rude the managemt was and the hote was not ready at alll .... please dont book hotel samudra as this hotel is not ready for operation. And the GENERAL MAMAGER IS VERY RUDE AND DONT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WOTH THE GUEST.. Break fast wa not ready aminities not not given.. Great ambience and superb food makes this hotel an ideal party venue. ( traffic would be a bother if you are going there in a big car as the narrow streets through the bazaar and parking of two wheelers on both sides would have to be tackled skillfully!)

Hotel ambience and cleaning is good but service is pathetic including restaurant service. Staff is not properly trained in hospitality except reception desk officer.Toilet was stinking, telephone intercom not working, as ordered and requested things or item was not in time.

I stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Samudra and attended a Chinese Food Festival here. I was greatly impressed by the overall service of the Hotel and enjoyed my lunch, breakfast here. The staff were courteous and professional and had a smile all the time . I had no issue to complain and had a satisfied experience here.
