A beautiful place to enjoy breakfast. The bakery offers a variety of bread and pastries that are fresh and delicious. They also offer breakfast (eggs, cheese...) which is also delicious and satisfying. Overall a great experience

One of the best French café in the city, cozy perfect for studying reading a book business interviews and meeting with friends.chiken ceaser sandwich is one of the best options they have. and for breakfast they have the best signature omelets.for deserts all the types of tartes are amazing.and the LATTE tastes great.the 5 stars are for the words said above but my last 2 experiences deserve 1 star👎⚠️ONE BIG MAJOR PROBLEM that they have flieS and i insist on the S because each time i go i spot 3 or 4 flying on the tarte and cakes and all the goodies in the fridge;and if you give a complaint or tell the staff or the cashier they say yes it s because the door is always opening and closing what can we do..?well most of the restaurants and pastry shops have doors i guess and they open and close as well so what an unprofessional cause to give to a client. i keep going for the coffee or fresh made sandwiches but i never buy sweets again.you can clearly spot the flies in the pictures below the small ones in December the big ones in march

Really seems you need to beg for serviceThis is the second time I visit and it’s as horrible as the first timeThe first time 2 waiters sitting and chatting, to into the talk to notice me waving , then table next to them asks for something they both go to punch it in , I got up and asked them for service and if it really needs 2 to take an orderToday I am waiting and waiting and when she sees me, waves off her hand at me and goes to the next table but I did manage to ask for the bill :/For a restaurant in an upscale area and a good name one would expect better service , I guess I am wrong

Ra
Review №25

My opinion is really mitigated about this place, its about this problem they have to always ask you if you want to take away your sandwich or just have it seated at the pastry, it really pisses me off that in Lebanon only and mainly in arabic country if you wanna have a seat to eat your humble ham and cheese sandwich, they add a piece of lettuce aside and serve it to you as if they were serving a gastronomic meal doubling its price, while you can find Paul with much more friendly and simple stuff in most trainstations in paris as a kiosk serving sandwiches and thats it, seated or not seated its your problem.Anyway the bread is nice, pastries as well.... for god sake keep it in mind please youre a good pastry dont act as a Michelin with your clients.

Paul is a restaurant, a cafe, a gathering place and a wonderful symbol of downtown Beirut. It has become a landmark in Gemmayze. It serves all kinds of dishes in addition to bakery and pastry products. It has a small terrace decorated with a fountain and surrounded by a tiny garden. It is a perfect meeting point any time of the day

Nice spot at the beginning of Gemmayze with different food and beverage options. Salads are top. Another favorite is the cheese platter with which you can request your favorite bread.Paul in Lebanon unlike London or Paris is considered a more upscale place. As a result the prices are about double what I experienced in London. Two of my favorite places to sit at this Paul location include the greenhouse on a rainy day and the outside patio on a cool evening. If you visit make sure to not miss a hidden historical element in the form of remnants of the old Beirut city wall laying at the edge of the patio.

Chez Paul - Ghazir. Great staff and management. Pretty and cozy environment. Love the breakfast so much! The lunch/dinner menu is OK to good (it was better when you had steak with mushroom sauce) but there are better restaurants/price range for this type of menu. The coffee is the best! Your nearby coffee house (🌟bucks) has terrible coffee, I would always choose you over them!
