Excellent service so much so that we fancied being relatively outside and the staff were more than happy to open up and prepare the gazebo for us. On top of that the food was fantastic and dishes were bespoked for us as I fancied something outside my norm.

Went on a Friday evening and it was quiet. Food was delicious, but the bill was very expensive . Also the waiters had their masks on their beards not on their nose and mouths.

Cafe Goa is without doubt the best Indian restaurant in the area. Recently renovated, the restaurant is stylish, contemporary and convivial. The food is consistently excellent and tonights biryani was the best Ive had since a trip to India last year. The service was impeccable; the waiters are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday, I’ve been here a few times before and every time I have visited I have not been disappointed. Firstly, their customer service was on point! Even though they were very busy they were honest with their waiting time and always came to check up on us to see if we were ok. The food arrived and all I have to say is that it was worth the wait. The food was delicious as always! Full of flavour ! Best Indian restaurant I have been too! The staff were so polite and helpful! The restaurant was clean, and social distancing was in place. Also ordered a take away today as I was craving some good old curry! And once again I was not disappointed, Can’t wait to order again, thank you!

Good quality food and fair pricing

I am extremely unhappy and cross about the poor service received tonight from Cafe Goa. My order was over an hour late, I rang the restaurant 40 minutes after the agreed delivery time to be told my order would be leaving in less than 5 minutes. Half an hour later still nothing, when I rang back no one would take my call. The delivery driver was very apologetic but no communication from the restaurant, no compensation and to make matters even worse one of the sauces had spilt all over the bag. This is completely unacceptable, I completely understand restaurants get busy but please be honest about waiting times and dont take more orders the you can deliver on. This completely ruined a family evening together. Two stars are for quality of the food but does not make up for the appalling service.

Excellent food and service. Five of us went last night and the waiter recommended a few different dishes and made a couple of changes for one of my friends who has allergies. Cant wait to go back

Since walking in, the customer service was immaculate. They were very professional, and seemed very organised. Me and my family walked straight in without any problems considering we never booked. My first impression of the place was pretty good, and it was clean. I haven’t even talked about the food but I must say I’m very picky, however I was extremely satisfied with the food, I ordered the balti chicken and it was AMAZINGGGG!! On our way out we even got a takeaway for the night and my plate was scraped clean!I must say my expectations were exceeded, however nevertheless this is a place I definitely recommend!

Another great meal from Cafe Goa. We came here as recommended by a neighbour when we moved to the village back in October. We have since made a monthly visit or had a monthly takeaway (due to covid) and have NEVER been disappointed.The menu is extensive, clearly laid out and flavoursome. We have tried 1/3 of the menu and leave the dinner table saying “that was the best meal we have had” followed by “until next time”.Naz and the team couldn’t do any more for customer satisfaction; they provide a service, at a great price and have return custom throughout the village and beyond (my dad travels from Aylesbury to take part in our Goa visits). Being able to be so confident in a restaurant with such a severe nut allergy is a luxury we have experienced at Cafe Goa.I would give more stars if I could. Keep up the good work, and we will see you again in two weeks!Many thanksÀine and Adam.

Lovely restaurant

Have been here for a couple of eat in meals and the service and food was good. I’ve also had a couple of takeaways which weren’t as good as sitting in but was still better than most of the other Indian takeaways in the area.

£35 spent and revived hardly any food , tiny portions. Called up straight away and was imeditely met with very rude service on the phone . Shame as first time trying here however we will never be back and will never reccomend this takeaway. * spend your money elsewhere*

BeautifulWe often have either a meal at Cafe Goa or takeaway. The food is amazing. As big curry lovers and my partner being Indian we struggle to find a restaurant that can cook to our request and taste. We dont go anywhere else but Cafe Goa anymore. Highly recommend. Chef and staff hospitality is superb!

We had a takeout on Saturday 2 May and it was without a doubt the BEST meal we have had - please keep this chef on! He is ace. We have had many takeouts from here but this was just lovely - chicken pathia, chicken rogan josh, sag aloo, garlic naan and pilau rice, all delivered within the stated time, piping hot and a really polite and considerate guy with a big smile at the door. You are a treasure Goa, keep it up and keep these staff - thank you - George and Paulette Vernon.

First time customer ordering for collection. Took a while to be acknowledged when I arrived to collect my order. I specifically ordered my food without coriander leaf garnish and the food was loaded with it so pretty much ruined. The place wasnt busy but it seemed a bit frantic...would try there again incase this was a one off.

Fantastic food, very friendly service and lovely decor. My only criticism would be that the portions a little small. But maybe Im just greedy. Will be going back for sure. We had a table of ten and every single one of us commented on how great the food was.

After looking at the menu and the receipt realised they had over charged us. came in a big group, 2 waiters were rude and couldnt wait to take away plates. not very friendly. every dish tasted the same. spent nearly £200 in this restaurant and have been a few times before but definitely wont be returning and will tell others. wouldnt waste your time, or money.

Well what can i say apart from we should have stopped at the starters they were not bad but not the best and £130 later for 4 meals with no itemized bill at the end not good most of the food was wrong and the kemanan was a weird dog vomit brown colour the chicken tikka masala was so sweet I think it was 89% sugar and the first round of drinks turned up 20 minutes later not my best dining experience and wont be going back any time soon

Best curry Ive had in a while. Really fresh ingredients. Fairly pricey, but dont mind paying for quality.

Not an interesting experience. The menu is very deceptive and the owner is absolutely rude. I will not go there again. And oh yeah.....my fingers are still of green food colour as i had ordered Goan Fish Curry....😠

Terrible , delivery took an hour and a half to come and they over charged me by well over £10!!!And then claim I’m looking at an old menu for prices, although that’s the one they have connected to their site all over the net!No prices on receipt it’s likeThey just charge what they want and don’t expect you to check!Food was cold also!Avoid this place like the plague , total bunch of liers, maybe update your prices on your site to the ones you claim to have over the phone on this new mysterious menu, Jokers!!

This cafe has been around for years, yet Ive never seen more than one car outside it, morning, noon or night. I have never understood how it apparently gets so little custom, yet continues to trade.

We used to go here a lot,and sent a lot of our friends there.Then on complaining about burnt food l was told if they cooked again it would be burnt again!!
