Friendly staff. Can’t converse in English though. Rooms could be better. Location is great. Plug points beside every bed. Lobby is nice. Has a bar. Room has no mirror. Bathroom is okay and not on the same floor as the room. Supply water for free. Have to carry your own toiletries. Provide slippers.

Stayed in dorm, great location. Owner very friendly and helpful. Spoke English well. One lady at desk seemed rude but it may be a cultural difference. Decent restaurant on site for western breakfast. Lots of food venues within walking distance. Charming facilities. Pillow had blood on it when I arrived so takes away from cleanliness. Shared Bathroom always clean all times of day. Mixed residents with foreigners and Chinese.

Def not worth the $60 a night we paid for our private double room with private bathroom. Rooms were VERY basic and cramped. I wouldve ranked it higher if they were charging $25-40 for a room, but I left feeling overcharged. The owner was very nice. Staff spoke some English (it depended on the person, some could not at all) and helped when they could. Also didnt like that there was no water jug or way to refill water bottles (although hot water is provided.) Good location, but not great value for what we paid.

場所は素晴らしいです。安く一人旅するには最高です。路地にはお店も沢山あり食事、買い物には困りません。地下鉄駅にも近く北京を観光するには良い場所に有ります。主には外国人観光客が利用していました。

オーナーが感じ良い,環境が良い,好立地ホテルの中国語名は前门客栈(北京天安门大栅栏店) といいます。前門駅はちょっと複雑なので、駅をでてから７分位かかると思います。西城区煤市街33号で、煤市街沿いの右側を歩いてくると入口がありますが、小さいので通る過ぎてしまうことがあるので、バス停が 集まっている所を過ぎたら建物の入り口上の板に書かれた「QIANMEN HOSTEL」の看板を見ながら歩いたほうが無難です。スタッフに英語ができる男性がいるので、言葉の問題は軽減できます。入って左奥にフロントで、ここで受付して、鍵を借りて(要デポジット)部屋に案内してくれます。通路を通るところがカフェになっていてコーヒーやビール等飲み物が飲めます(朝ごはんも頼めるみたい)。そこを出ると共用スペースで本を読んだりできる青空スペース、その奥は洗濯機、トイレ、シャワーがあります。1階にも部屋はありますが、今回は２階の２段ベッド3つの部屋でした。私は中国語ができるのでお部屋の住人達は全員中国人。みなさんフレンドリーでした。基本的に自分のスペースはベットの上だけなので(小さな机もありましたが共有では狭い)、宿をでて右側にいくと交差点の渡った角にマクドナルドがあります、ここを入った道は大栅栏街という老舗街となっていますが、現在は観光用の土産やなどが多い地区です(ローカル相手の土産物店が多い)。突き当りまで行くと、そこは前門大街で左は前門、右にZARA等専門店などが並んでいます(この道の方がちょっとおしゃれ)。前門なので、天安門に近いですが、天安門に個人で入るにはかなり並ぶので、予定よりも１時間は早く行った方が良いです。
