A highly revered shiv temple of east India. It is associated with baba baidyanath temple of deoghar. Baidyanath darshan is said to be incomplete without darshan of Basukinath. It has dash mahavidhya, Radha krishna, Surya, ganesh shrines on periphery of compound. A parvati temple is there facing main temple. A Anand Bhairav shrine is there. A well called Chandra Koop is there in corner, whose water is used to do abhishek by devotees. Verandah inside the complex are occupied by Pandas who have written there particulars on the wall. In shravan month many kanwariyas also bring ganga jal to do abhishek of shiva.

Not too crowdy...Super clean environment...Large hall for chanting mantr....Very good helpful behavior of Panda...The people behind temple are very kindly helping...Not too expensive places....

Do i need to say something about this place. after pouring the holy gangajal in deoghar people come to this place only then the kaanwar yatra gets completed. Once you pour the jal you feel relaxed. Sit inside the campus and feel the divinity of this place.

It takes half an hour of ride in a auto rickshawfrom baidyanath dham really divine is the temple with quite big is the temple devoted to the prime worship of mahadev as lord basukhinath. There are many shops selling tools, worship items, pictures as well as a big parking lot for peak seasons. Very nice positive ambience all around the place with fresh and spacious village ambience with trees and plantations of agriculture all around. Love to visit again. Jay guru Jay ma!!

Its a religious place and is a different kind of experience.it take some time to reach from deogarh to basukinath.in between you see some low lying mountains.i think govt.is trying to develop that place for tourists but its gonna take some time.
