Great location, just by the highway and along the river. Good clean rooms with open area, river view, garden and ample parking. Food is good too. We go here during our motorcycle or cycle rides and really like the ambiance and food. Plus there are hardly any guests here mostly, so very peaceful.

This Rest house is constructed by Public works department (PWD) of Government of Madhya Pradesh while it is under possession ans is maintained by Forest Department. The view from here is amazing. I mean the plants and animals especially Indian Swamp Deer (State Animal of Madhya Pradesh), Beer, Monkeys, Sambhar, Cheetal, Parrot, Asian Koel, Ringed Indian parakeet, Bulbul etc. can be seen easily if someone starts the sightseeing early morning around 7:00 AM. Two Tigers and One Lion is about to be shifted in the Kuno Palpur Wildlife Sanctuary from Rathnambore National Park Sawai Madhopur (Rajasthan) and Gir National Park (Gujrat) respectively. If yoh want to stay at the rest house then you should inform one day prior as the rest house is situated inside the sanctuary and all the edibles, food materials,vegetables and everything is brought from the city situated 15kms from the sanctuary.
