Seriously this place is like heaven.I visited this in peak monsoon and that too on weekday! So no crowd was there and we were only the visitors. Best time to visit this place is monsoon. There is more mud and slush around this pond so be careful while walking, if u are visiting in rainy season. And Road to this place is amazing. It has great nature around the road.

Amazing architecture, this is a royal pool built during shivappa nayaka rule, there is two roads leading upto the temple, one was submerged due to heavy rain, so we had to find a alternate route, swimming is allowed but please be mindful of the place you are in,and dont trash your travel.

Deva Gange26dec2020This is one of the best kept pond with a small temple. There are 7 ponds of which first one is quite big. There is no entrance fees. The water is free flowing throughout the year. Even though the water looks green it is still fresh and not stinky. You will get free FISH foot massages in the first pond. The ponds are not too deep. Kids of 4feet and above can have a good time playing in water.

Shivappa Nayakas royal architecture, Devagange Pond and Temple. It is famous for Devagange Kolagalu consists of 7 ponds with one large square tank surrounded by six differently shaped (star, lotus, stellate) smaller ponds in a sunken area flanked by laterite walls forms what might have been a relaxing destination for royal personnel. Also there is a Shiva temple here.

Beautiful and well maintained temple. But people swimming in the pond front of the temple ruins the sanctity of the place. I hope it gets controlled.

Built during the reign of the lower kings, this pond is a complete rock. A stone cradle pattern is built between the pond built using slab. The footpath to reach the cradle, the catapult around the pond, the pavilions to descend into the pond. There are a total of 7 small ponds in the direction of water flow from a large pond. Different in shape, texture, and elegant. Built on a scientific model about 4 centuries ago, the pond was built to a depth of 15 feet. There is a temple of Ishwar in one of the ponds of the pond. On the other side there is a flower garden in the time of the kings. It is also heard that it inspired the construction of Brindavan in Mysore.
