For Basara Saraswati temple alight here,Temple trust runs free buses from Railway station to Temple and they are available outside Main entrance on Platform 1, during train arrival timings. Also share autos are available to visit temple and Godavari river.Godavari river ghat is about 1 km from Saraswathi temple and a scenic spot with boating facility available. Also, pilgrims can visit Ganga matha temple located on the banks of Godavari river.Railway station consists of Two platforms, with a FOB connecting them. At Platform 1, there is a PRS and a UTS counter along with waiting room for reserved passengers. Also two non AC retiring rooms are located at the end of PF 1 towards Dharmabad side which can be availed based on availability.

Basar station is neat and clean but trains are late but toilets and waiting room is available and canteen is also available. Outside of station transport also good. eg government buses and private auto , aur buses.

The halt for devotees wishing to visit the Gnana Saraswati Temple in the eponymous village.The station was given a huge facelift about two decades ago with a facade resembling temple architecture, spacious waiting rooms, and computerized reservation. Now Automatic Ticket Vending machines are also available.TPassenger traffic and specially freight traffic have increased substantially. There are only two platforms, however the station is well-maintained, though the surroundings need to be kept more cleanSeven-seater auto-rickshaws are available to ferry the passengers to the temple and the IIIT. There is a bus stand just outside the station.

Basar Railway Station lies in the south central railway division with its headquarters at Secunderabad railway station. The station has two platform with a good waiting room and the platform are usually neat . The station is not on a busy route and their a good frequency of trains arriving and departing on time .

Platforms were clean... Tidy...Only 2 Platforms... Train comes most of the times on PF1.Waiting halls - General waiting hall is worstly maintained. Workers are behaving very rudely...Upper class waiting halls are locked... I dont understand where people who booked for AC coaches should sit. I waited for 2 hrs on the PF2.Monkeys are everywhere... Though people can have fun watching them... Be careful...Overall its okay... But it needs a lot of development...

One of the Waste Railway Station without any CC Tv Cameras. No security at all. We have come across with huge losses because of Pick Pocketers.I request all to be careful with your Belongings and Small Children from thieves and kidnappers.Station Master should be ashamed because of n number of cases that have been registered on this Railway Station.👨‍💼When I have gone to buy Tickets in the reservation counter railway staff are literally irresponsible and doing time pass with there Mobile Phones. Why the railway department gives jobs to such kind of people?Its my humble request to the Railway Department Basara to install CC Tv cameras on the platform. I never ever forget this trip. One of the biggest disaster in our life.Temple and Darshanam wise we are really blessed.🙏

From here around 2 to 3 kilometers is temple. Autos will be available in train timings all times. Charge around 20rs per head. It varies in the Night time. Good place in recent days station got developed much.
