This place is near to Barpeta Kirtan ghar (temple) and related to different activities of Barpeta Kirtan ghar. A long procession is held at Brindaban Hati on the eve of the death of Mahapurush Sankardev and it is led to the Barpeta Kirtan ghar to give KarBhar (donation of vegetables, fruits, rice, mustard oil, etc). The people of this place as well as the people Barpeta celebrate this day with great enthusiasm as Mahapurush Sankardev left this earth and went to the abode of God.
