Disappointed..Not what I expected.The place is small..no pool only splash area. Nothing much for adults to do honestly. The boat ride and castle play was not included in the price..My 5year old boy had fun though. Its was a first and last visit.

Lovely area good value for money...u can buy coffee drinks and ice cream too...we spend 90 minuts and kids loved it..Will be going again...

Took an 8 and 11 year old who wanted to leave after 15 minutes because the water was very cold and the water features are limited to sprouting out of the ground, in various patterns (arches etc). It didnt keep them entertained for long, although I persuaded them to get off the deckchairs (available for free around the splash area) back for a few minutes more after snacks. The water is very cold so best suited on a hot day, and little ones (aged 5 and below Id say) seemed to love it but came back to their carers for warm cuddles and drying time. I noticed a freezer for ice creams/lollies etc. Staff were nice/friendly and there are changing (including baby) facilities and toilets on site. The park itself is decent for walks, play, picnics. Splash park isnt bad for the local area for £5 but wouldnt go again unless Ive got younger kids on a hotter day. There is free parking there we were told (staff repsonded to my email within an hour) but we walked so didnt use it myself so couldnt say the size of the car park or how busy it was on a Monday afternoon when we went. They take cashless payments. I didnt ask about cash. Enjoy!

Great for kids, fun for parentsLocated in a large park. Definitely recommended on a very hot day. Parents, bring spare clothes. Youre going to get wet. Changing rooms and toilets on site. Parking on either end of the park.

Well worth the money. Its a lovely little splash park! And you can feed the ducks at the pond before or afterwards.Little tip: Bring a beach ball/bucket/water toys.

Perfect place to take your kids on a sunny day... they have a nice splash water zone, and a garden area. The staff is very helpful too. I will definetly comeback.

We were booked in for a 10am session and we were welcomed by a lovely lady (blond, used to be a chef) and she could not have been any more attentive if she tried, our nephews are 9 and 10 and had a really lovely time, I think we were lucky as there was not alot of people in our session, the changing rooms and toilet were really clean, the area around was clean and well maintained - can not fault in any way !!!!!

Great place for the kids to cool down. Theres no direction from car park so thought Id post some. Travel to South park drive road. The car park is just after the primary school.Once parked walk onto path where you entered car park, walking to the right. Walk until you see the pond on you right. Walk along the pond until you see a cafe. You will see children park on your left keep going and follow it round to the left and then do a left. You will see the gate in front of you. Follow it round and you will see the entrance.Great fun for the kids. Covid safe with time slots. Changing rooms, toilets and seats. You are allowed to bring food and eat in there too. Would recommend!!

Wonderful park situated in the heart of Barking! The splash park and walk path is great in the summer to explore and to have a picnic! It’s spacious to play sports and do keep an eye out for the walking ducks!

Absolutely lovely park away from the hustle and bustle that is Barking. We were here again on a Saturday morning for the 5km Park Run along the beautiful lake but we have been here several times when our kids were much younger. It is a lovely park ideal for a picnic or just to get away from it all. There is parking and if require toilets which are reasonably clean and there is also a lovely cafe right in front of the lake.

The water wasnt controlled temperature, it was freezing cold. Children were soo cold and complaining they didnt enjoy their time. They closed the swimming floats area after we paid which was very disappointing.

Wonderful place to come with family. My kids loved it . Suddenly my 8yrs & 5 yrs want to use toilet badly so barking park childrens play Area cafe BFC customer service was excellent. Its lovely place to go on hot days with kids.

This offers a well controlled day out for the kids. You book a slot which lasts 1hr 30mins and they steralise everything in 30mins between slots. I was impressed by how well organized it all was. Everyone is very polite and theres plenty of space and distance between everyone.Imagine that dream scenario where you go for a day out with the kids and theres plenty of space and free deck chairs and benches. We took a picnic and had a lovely afternoon. Theres a playground right next door to spend time in whilst waiting for your slot and they advertised a pizzeria nearby.Thoroughly enjoyed our time there, would highly recommend it.

Absolutely disgusting and filthy park I have ever visited. There was empty drink & beer cans, glass bottles, dead pigeons corps & filthy lake water was on display on the day of my visit. ( see my pictures)I am surprised to see the lack of cleaniness and maintenance inside the park with no warden or council employees working during opening hours. Barking & Dagenham borough PLEASE WAKE UP & DO SOMETHING.It is really shameful to see the park and its dirty lake water in such a state, which need urgent care and attention.Barking & Dagenham council, How can you justify charging the residents for council tax when you can not provide the family friendly clean park?I urge all the local residents to contact your councillor to register your complaint so the council can take some immediate action to remedy the issues raised.

Disappointing really, the water is cold, should at least be luke warm for this British weather and allow kids to go in with light clothing and not just swimwear, that’s more of the fun for them.

Not really worth the money,its just fountains ,which you can find dotted about all over London.

Basic splash park with just jets of random water coming out of the ground. Needs to have additional shooters or towers that drop water etc. Very basic. Pricing for a family of four was £12 which I thought was ok until I got in and saw there was not much on offer.

They need more equipment out, not enough staff. Was bit 😞.

Really nice place for children to cool down and have fun. Ive been coming there now 3 years in the row. I have to thank the stuff there as they so helpful and understanding. I came 40 min late and they still let me in and lets place open even tho I was the only one there with my child. My son had great time and mummy had finnaly lil rest. Thank you

For £12 for a family of four, I couldnt really complain about the value for money.The splash Park is situated in the central area of the park probably around 4 minute walk from the main road.The water attraction is clean and well presented, the kids absolutely loved it.Deck chairs are available for free for use, if you can grab one while they are available.Clean toilets and 2 changing rooms.Overall a great visit on a sunny day for the family.

Dont let the pictures fool you. Rules have changed so children need to be in dry clothes prior to bouncy castle. The number of deck chairs have shrunk recently so unless there early cant get one. The photos make it seem like its going to be a lot better than it is

For Barking it was quite impressive. I wouldnt recommend anywhere is Barking to anyone but if you want a fun day out for the kids then this park has a few things to offer 😊

I am a little disappointed by the £7 entry fee 1x children 1 x adult for this splash park, ok its great its secure and has toilets and changing facilities but it isnt the greatest of splash parks around, I live in Harlow Essex and in the area there are 4 FREE splash parks and a paddling pool.Considering this isnt one of the most wealthy areas in London I am very surprised about the high entry fee.I would suggest looking for the free ones!

Very very good place to take the kids, or even have a walk or a picnic. The cafe in the park have friendly staff. Pedalos were available also. X never went to the splash park as it was shut but will be comming back to visit once its open. X

Not many activities for children at all apart from a sand pit. Pool tad overpriced. Located quite deep inside so its a good 10 mins walk once you get into the park gates.

Very wet.

Go 1 hour before closing for half priced entry. Its not all its hyped up to be, considering the normal entry cost, its relatively small area for kids to play. No paddling pools, just water jets comming up from the ground, kids run around and get wet. No shower facility either. There is a small inflatable pool with hand powered boats, one child per boat, but this is at an additional cost. In my opinion its worth going 1 hour before closing to get the half priced entry otherwise its overpriced.

We just moved in Ilford and while exploring the area up and down Ilford Lane I came across this park. We have a 2yo child and we were so excited to discover this place. Very nice play area with quite a few installations to climb, the lake has a variety of birds that we dont have the chance to see else where. Even if its 30 minutes away, walking distance, from where we live, well visit this park often.
