Great service, didn’t feel rushed which was good. Ordered garlic bread with chilli which was really nice, wasn’t soggy either which some garlic breads can be, this was crispy and tasty. Main course pizza and pasta, again very tasty and the toppings didn’t slide off the pizza. I will come again and bring friends with us .

Lovely food. Well made fresh and full of flavour. I had the cannelloni, caprese and potatoes 🤤 I could eat it all over again. Yum!

Bang-average food. Used to have great quality ingredients a couple years back but has since gone downhill.Antipasti seemed to be from jars off supermarket shelves, and the cappriciosa was very sparse on toppings.Nothing special. Used to like this place but would no longer recommend.

I love this place. During lockdiwn theyve kept the business going selling fine food, beer and wine. They also do their restaurant food as takeaway. And check this out. On Monday to Wednesday all food is half price!!!!! So for example you can get a top Italian pizza fresh made with all the trimmings for less than a fiver!!!Ive literally stopped cooking as its less hassle. A fine Italian chicken and napoleon sauce for £7.Theyve also started doing Sunday lunches for £10.95 and theyre awesome.Go check them out, I promise you will not be disappointed 🙏 x

Just recieved and ate a lovely restaurant pizza, honestly best pizza Ive had in years! Perfect service and food quality is excellent. Highly recommend everyone give this a go! Dont forget sweets too, start from 50p and we had a bag full for the family- handmade and delicious fillings!

Phoned an order to collect and was ready within 5 mins of arriving. One way system on entry and good Covid procedures. Theres a good selection of Italian products available to buy in store. Homemade desserts and specials available too. Pizzas were delicious, highly recommend. Mid week offers available also. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Da Gianni is a wonderful restaurant. Ive only been here twice, but will always pop in for some rosé wine and pasta when I have time. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling, being helpful even when its really busy. Their food is very tasty, affordable and always comes quickly. Theyre very hardworking people and the owner is one of the nicest person Ive met, engages with customers and keeps them updated and happy.Good luck, guys! 💕🌸

Had the most relaxing lunch date here today, simply stunning Italian food and very personable and friendly service, in spite of the difficulties restaurants and the folk who work there are facing at the moment. Delicious seafood pizza and king prawn pasta. It certainly has the feel of one of those beautiful little family owned restaurants in Italy . We love it and will continue to return to create happy memories all being well

We have been to Da Gianni multiple times and usually are left nothing less than impressed, however after our last visit i am quite sad to say that we left extremely disappointed.My partner and I started off with the bruchetta and antipaste, this was lovely however my partners main was was let it all down, he ordered a calzone which is what he usually orders and upon its arrival overcooked was an understatement, the inside of it was incredibly dry and the crust was all burnt, i have attached an image of the crust whuch he had picked out from his meal to this review.Unfortunately he has now been put off Da Gianni and I do not think we will be returning after this which is quite a shame.

Wonderful little Italian restaurant. We visited with friends for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back. In fact were going again in a couple of days. Fantastic service, very friendly staff who cant do enough for you, great atmosphere and the food is amazing! The best garlic bread with tomato and pesto weve ever tasted and the pasta dishes are so tasty and fresh. Looking forward to going back again.

Always love it here. The food and staff are amazing .The only thing Id say is that it was absolutely boiling you could see the staff were uncomfortable and all of the customers were using menus to fan themselves down. Really need some working AC in there..

The front of house service w light on bodies but the ladies were not flapping and were very professional fun and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely, personally as I worked in an Italian restaurant for years I like the odd italian song thrown in a bit of rammazotti maybe, however the tunes were very nice and chilled. Must try it

Excellent and very popular little Italian which never disappoints. I would always advise to book a table but you can take your chance on a walk in (many couples did that evening and I think only one got turned away). Not cheap but not expensive either, £130 for 6 starters, 4 mains and drinks and tips! Plenty of choice and specials always available, but you cant beat the garlic mushrooms and a tomato and chilli garlic bread for starter!Keep up the good work Franco!

Was very nice food at okay prices, the people are very friendly. We had a group of 7 and all the starters came but one. We had to wait a few minutes for that, then the two sides of spinach we ordered with our mains didnt come until we had almost finished. But all in all very nice

Have been a few times now and I just want to say that this is my favourite restaurant in Hull! When Gino Di Campo said there was no good Italian restaurant in Hull I think he was lying! Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful food and nice wine.

It was my first time at Da Gianni for a friends birthday. The menu has something for everyone and all our choices were really tasty. We all had different starters and mains no one was disappointed.Da Gianni’s is my favourite Italian restaurant!

Really great Pizza and Pasta

Nice enough food. Came quickly was hot, lots of flavour and well cooked. Sat outside, table and chairs not quite the right height. Service ok, seemed reluctant to engage, waittress overly eager to do her job and be off. Male member of staff better. Asked for chilli oil and got brought a dish of plain oil, which was a bit annoying.

Absolutely disgusting meal over priced and the chef was rude.... Went as a group every one disappointed with their meal... Never again....!
